Course Curriculum Overview
Though I wanted to do research in physics I wanted to have bachelors, masters and PhD. For having excellent base i wanted to study in a central university to get wide knowledge about the subject. In Pondicherry University the syllabus is very vast and will have a knowledge about the whole subject
Internships Opportunities
Although I haven't done any internship because I have joined just in 4 months. There are people who is doing internships in Pondicherry University cause I saw them.i don't have much information about the internships
Fees and Financial Aid
There are total 8 semesters in my course that is in 5 semesters we have to pay 3000 and other 3 semesters we have to pay 22000rs. There is different fees for tution fees, caution fees etc. for each semester.
Campus Life
The library is very vast and have a 24 × 7 reading room.the social groups and clubs will surely impact the student life. We also have a students gym,indoor badminton court,2 basketball court,one cricket ground and a football ground
Hostel Facilities
The meal quality is very bad although my hostelroom is shared by 3 people . Bathroom is not attached to rooms. We have to pay around 16000 annually for food and hostel combined. The only bad thing is the quality of the food
Admission
My home is in Kerala so I joined the central university which is nearest to me. For getting admission in Pondicherry University you have to get good marks in cuet exam and wait for the admission procedures
Faculty
Some faculties are good and some are bad. There are 2 internal and exam and a semester exam. 40% marks are from internal and 60% are end semester exam.for internal mark 30% marks are from internal exams and 10% marks are from assignments.although it is a central university syllabus is very fast and the hardness of the exams is set by the facilities and they decide the hardness of the exam
Night Life
The hostels are 24 × 7 open. We have 3 canteens inside the university. There are several shops inside the university. The night life is awesome and i rate it as 10/10. Night life in SJ campus is the main highlight inside the campus also we can roam inside the university at any time
