Course Curriculum Overview

Firstly I have got a good induction program by the college for two weeks it helps us to understand college and course curriculum well. We are introduced to every club, exam structure and rules of here. It is very good at my point of view. Teachers said that MITS Gwalior has a different exam pattern than that of RGPV being afflicted by RGPV. Teachers focus on practical knowledge besides theory also senior is helpful.

Placement Experience

As I have Just entered college I have no knowledge of it. But somehow I have listened from faculties that placement record is going good to better every year especially for CSE and IT.

College Events

Seniors are very helpful in organising any event in college. Technical, culture, creative, social, debate, scientific, parties, etc events are organising here. In this field, there is no lack every student enjoy these events. Mitsvah here is an event of Mits Gwalior.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is the main thing in any institute here the same. This is govt autonomous but having more fee. It's around 1 lakh for 1st year then around 70k for the next year but event fees are excluded. 1st semester it's around 80k and 2nd 20k and so on.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have filled Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojna form for scholarships and not for any other. But I have seen on college website there are some more scholarships for students.

Campus Life

Campus life is to enjoy fully. Every student enjoys independently. Extracurricular activities are the gifts of our seniors. They support our growth and information about every event eg. For robotics, debate, sports, hunt etc. Various workshops are organised here for students welfare.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, seniors are very helpful. Once if we had talked about our problem they try their best to solve it.

Admission

I cleared JEE main but not advance and also couldn't get any nit so I opt MITS to fit admitted. I have filled mp date counselling and then it's choice filling and got Sati Vidisha I opt for next update and got CSE of MITS then by counselling, I got admission. I opt computer science and technology branch for BTech in 1 st year.

Faculty

Faculties are the base of any college. They focus on practical knowledge besides theory and give future suggestions for students. They also suggest for extracurricular activities of the college for our all-round development. But teachers are very strict regarding rules.

Average college with no placements and exposure

Likes

I like infrastructure of the campus... infrastructure are very beautiful.
Library. I like library facilities college provide and we can take book from there.
Canteen not..much but I likes this average

Dislikes

Placement their is no placement or limit placement only 2-3LPA
Bus Facility their Very poor bus facilities
Labs their labs computer are not working properly

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the curriculum around 5 or 6 out of 10. i chose this course mainly because of the computer and coding subjects. the syllabus is mostly theory based and many topics are not very useful for current industry needs. practical classes and real projects are also limited. more coding, projects and updated technologies should be added. exams are frequent during the semester and the difficulty is mostly average but sometimes checking feels strict.

My Experience at college

Likes

I like the overall campus environment and the friendly atmosphere of the college. The faculty members and supportive and explain the subjects well. There are also different activities and events where students can participate and interact with others
The infrastructure and basic facilities are good. I also like that the course provides opportunities to learn technical skills and prepare for placements.s

Dislikes

The college experience is good overall, but some areas need improvement. Placement opportunities could be better and more companies should be invited for campus recruitment.
Practical learning and industry-oriented training can also be increased. Sometimes administrative work takes more time than expected.
The infrastructure is decent, but some facilities could be improved and maintained better

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course as good and useful .I chose BCA because it has key areas like coding,data,web work and other IT skills.The course gives a good base for jobs and also helps students who want to study more. The course can be better with more lab work,live tasks and job based skills.Teachers can use more real life cases and demos in class. There are tests and final exams each term.The exam level is fair and can be managed with good study.

Dislikes

Zero college life beacuse everyone not get govt. Hostel
Campus distributed because of two way highway
No internship and entrepreneurship opportunity are there

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is totally outdated syllabus that was not relevant for current or future technologies. No fully functional labs, outdated machines and some machines are not working. There is no regular lab class and if have then you will write the practical file intesd of learning about machines.

Likes

I liked the overall campus environment of the university . The campus is quite large ,clean and has good infrastructure.
The labs in college in are well equipped especially for computer science student . some system have configuration like 16 gb ram .
the faculty member are supportive and helpful. teachers are always ready to guide student , clear doubts and personal situation whenever needed

Dislikes

the quality of mess food is average and sometimes not up to expections. There are limited option and some food combination not liked by students
There are single water cooler in available , which sometimes create problem for both boys and girls.
we are sometimes fined for low attendance ,bunking class or even sitting in the canteen during lecture hours

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is decent but not exceptionsal. it covers the basic and important subject required for the course so you dont get a good theoritical understanding. However some parts of the syllabus feel outdated and fully aligned with current industry requirments. the course had a good mix of course subjects and some practical components on paper which looked promising at the time of admission. The overall structure seemed relevent for building foundational knowledge.

I like the faculty of Gyan ganga college of Technology. They are very good.
I like the campus of college and it is very clean comparing to other institutes.
I like the placement given by our college and also rate of placement.

There is nothing about my college which I disliked
i like everything about my college and it is very good

from 7th semester studentd are eligible for placement in companies like google microsoft cisco etc. the highest package is 51 lpa and average package is 3.5 lpa. percentage of students getting placed 70%. i plan to get a high package after comnpleting my degree

Faculty members are knowledgeable, supportive, and helpful in academics , exam, and projects. Teaching focuses on fundamentals and practical understanding
The campus has good classrooms , labs , library, and sports facilities .The environments is friendly and suitable for learning.
The placement cell is active and provides training for aptitudes, and interviews. The curriculum is relevant and helps builds a strong technical base.

Dislikes

Industry exposure and live projects opportunities can be improved .
More companies can be invited for placements
i don't thing there's anything i don't like now

1. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. 2. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and other IT/ services firms visit the campus regularly and make multiple offers. 3. Best IIIT in terms of campus life as it has over 150 acres of lush green campus with almost every amenities.
College has been improving its recent cultural status and activities by organizing events like Infotsav- Annual Tech fest. The girls to boys ratio is around 1:5 which is decent.
all faculties are phD holders and highly qualified in their respective domain.

Dislikes

Course curriculum is little bit on a harder side especially grading schemes. Some profs may deliberately give low grades.
not that great alumini network despite being the oldest iiit
semester lasts for only 4 months which may prevent many club events and exploration

Placement Experience:

For 4 yr courses, on campus placement drive begins in 7th sem and occur in 2phases in 7th and 8th sem. For 5 yr courses, the same in 9th and 10th sem. In 2025, All tech giants like, google(16 selected), oracle(5 selected), microsoft(3 selected), de-shaw(3 selected), groww(10 selected), american express(10 selected), Nutanix (6 selected), amazon (8 selected). Highest domestic was by de-shaw 67 lpa to 3 students. average package of cse was 27lpa , it+mtech 29lpa and it+mba 28 lpa. 214 students were placed out of 224 registered with a perecentage of 95 %.

I really like cleanliness in washroom and also in the college. I really like trees in college.
Faculty was really good and my subject teacher was teaching in a right way.
In this college the boys and girls in the ratio of 3:1.

Dislikes

Uniform is not allow in this college. I have no many clothes to wear day by day.
I don't like college timing. In winter season timing was not good.
Our campus is very small. And college fest is very less in this college.

Placement Experience:

In 7 semester students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies visited in this college like Wipro, Cisco, infosys, etc. Highest package in this college is 20 lakhs. Average package is 5 lakhs My plans after getting the degree is getting good job.

Location of college as it is in the centre of city

I give JEE Mains exam. After than I sat for MP DTE councilling where I filled choices for SGSTIS Indore ,DAVV Indore ,MITS Gwalior, JEC jabalpur. In SGSTIS and DAVV I can only go with lowest branch so I op MITS Gwalior where I get seat in Information technology specialization in Internet of Things IoT. A campus of learning, friendship and future prospects

I choose this college because it has strong reputation since 1947 and good placement with affordable fee compared to other option I applied for. I also considered a few private colleges but preferred this one as the admission is true J based counseling with clear eligibility and cut off rank. I choose MITS because of its strong academic reputation, a nice infrastructure, and affordable to me if compared to fee structure to private colleges. I has also applied to other institutes but can make it to the entrace exam or felt they were too expensive.
