Remarks

Teachers here should give more concern about conducting classes properly than giving priority to their research. Student's curriculum should be revised lacking in extra curricular activities as it only revolves around the academics & preparing the students very little about life after college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum and examinations are carried out in the semester system. The syllabus is pretty basic easy to deal with. Exams are also taken according to the progression of what has been taught in the class & that only. However, if you are into deep learning & want to make yourself a better professional you should focus on self-study over the University curriculums.

Placement Experience

4

Placement opportunities are considerably good with corporate giants like Amazon conducting multiple Pool Campusing each year.

College Events

2.5

Social life in this University is horrible for University governing bodies always speaking against most cultural programs, while it provides full support in every academic event. Students are quite eager in conducting events than most of the University staffs are.

Fee Structure And Facilities

BSc course is typical of 2.5k per semester consisting of a total of 6 semesters. Hostel fees are around 2k per month including meal & boarding charge. The hostel is pretty well managed & clean but it should improve in providing quality food. There is also PG & Student mess available near the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

University has a very busy scholarship management cell. Students will get assistance about any scholarship programs there.

Campus Life

5

Social life in this University is horrible for University governing bodies always speaking against most cultural programs, while it provides full support in every academic event. Talking about gender ratio typically 70% of the students are male. Most students come from a very strict religious background.

Alumni/Alumna

Considerably helpful seniors & strong alumni network as the University holds BSc, MSc & P.Hd programs too creating a chain connection to all the stages.

Admission

The University conducts an admission test (AUAT) typically in the month of April or May. Questions are from your HS level science/ arts/ commerce depending upon your HS background with common English grammar & General knowledge. You must have secured 60% in your HS exam for appearing in AUAT.

Faculty

4

The University holds it's head high with top quality & experienced faculty most of whom have already made a mark in their respective research field. Most of the faculty are flexible when it comes to approaching them & rare but some do care about the student's welfare more than the average others.

Placement Experience:

People who major in my department usually opt for masters over placement not because of this college but because overall industrial or academic opportunities are better with a pg degree. Masters from this college is not recommended as i have heard so from my seniors. Some of my seniors managed to crack competitives and secure MSc seats at great places. Training and Placement cell had a good coordinator previously but now its almost non existent. Companies do come and hire Bpharm, Mpharm and MSc candidates. Packages are below average. Only Nestle pays well. But if you do well you'll eventually climb up the corportate ladder. From the time i am here i have not heard of any BSc candidate getting placed. Most go for higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very relevant as it provides us an overall knowledge of biology and not dividing it into various sections rather giving us an insight of every aspect of biology. It includes everything such as microbiology, zoology, botany, physiology, molecular biology and so on.

Completely relevant. As the college is autonomous it has its own syllabus. Which matches with the net gate jam exam syllabus. When someone came our college for seminar they strange that we know this much. Exam are quite difficult in 2 months interval.

Placement Experience:

In case of computer science department, placement is provided at the Last year of M.sc course. Many companies like Wipro, b10x, Tata visited here. Highest package ever is three lakh per annum. 20-40% of the students got placement after completing M.Sc computer science. My plan after B.sc is to pursue MCA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

* It's all about practical knowledge, we are getting from this course and another aspect is if you wants to make your career in research or lecturer then you should go for it. *No changes required in teaching methods but if college will provide hostel facilities and campus requirement drive, then it will better for candidates.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Sc Computer Science Faculty: Student ratio is = 4:23 may vary a bit Faculty are well Qualified & Teaching method is okay good, but not to the mark like very good or excellent. The exam term was timely (sometimes it gets a bit late due to some natural disaster like cyclone, heavy rainfall, etc or any govt. & university delays), and the exam level is nearly too difficult, something like in between moderate to difficult.
