Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum is bit outdated, but is useful for future,i think the curriculum should be updated with more software focused like in depth syllabus for cpp and python and real word subjects , students learns skills by their own.exam frequency is good,we get good time for preparation and the difficulty is average.

Internships Opportunities

4

Internships are available in 6th semester, NITW offers many internship opportunities, many companies like tech Mahindra, factset, Deloitte, tcs and micron offer internship opportunities ,many projects are done for internship opportunities like field survey on the operations of vegetable market, Survey regarding the "TATA NEU" online shopping and services app, For Positive Wellbeing at task given : "Spend daily time with family and engage in physical activity for your own good and mental health". etc

Placement Experience

4

From 6th semester, students are eligible for campus placements, during placements many companies visit NITW,big companies like qualcomm, amazon, tata and mediatek visit during campus placements every year and many offers are made, the highest package is 88 LPA and average package is 15.6 LPA,on an average 76 percent of students are getting placed every year , after completing my course,i would like to get a job in core or software engineering.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee in our college is 62500 per semester. Hostel fee is 28000 per semester in our college. It also includes Mess bill. Other fee is 12500 per semester in our college. Extra fee is 30000. Caution fee is 15000. No tution fees for sc and st 2/3 tution fees waiver for obc ncl for 1 to 5 lakh annual income

Campus Life

4

In every year, there are two annual fests namely technozion and spring spree ,these fests lasts for 3 to 4 days and many events occur which are interesting to participate, technozion typically happens in January and spring spree in February -march. There is a large central library in which we can find all books for all courses and we can study peacefully, also we can carry books to hostels for a fixed duration.digital books are also available. The classrooms are big and comfortable, there's a projector and a smart board useful for lectures . NITW is good in sports department as we have a big stadium and physical fitness classes for 1st year students, there is indoor sports complex and courts for basketball, badminton, volleyball There are many student run clubs and a society for each branch, the clubs help students to learn skills other than academics , the different clubs in NITW are DANCE AND DRAMATICS CLUB LITERARY AND DEBATING CLUB MUSIC CLUB PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB QUIZ CLUB VALUE EDUCATION CLUB

Hostel Facilities

3

T1st year boys live in 1.8k hostel, it's huge and old, it's poorly maintained, rooms are fine but bathrooms need frequent cleaning, some lifts won't work, it's problematic to attend classes in time ,the mess for 1st year boys is IFC A, it's food quality is good, but the food tends to complete, and we have to wait for the food to be prepared and served, the menu is good, but there's always a panneer curry which is average and boring, registration for hostels is simple,we can approach hostel warden and give the complaints and request for room change, the hostel fees is 28000 each semester which is not quite affordable.

Admission

I chose NITW as it's nearby and I'm getting a decent branch compared to other nit's,the admission is based on jee mains score and admission process is quite hard due to smile portal,in which we have to fill all possible details.the cutoff rank for NITW has been increasing every year.

Faculty

3

Our class has 66 students, some lecturers are good while others are average, the average lecturers are assistant professors, associate professors are generally better,we have 2 mid exams, one teacher assessment and one end exam, generally exams are average, some questions are difficult

Night Life

5

NITW has many hangout areas like time square, food street and the place between mme and biotech departments ,gyms are present in hostels and indoor sports complex, food street has all cafeteria and there's Nescafe and department store has all stationery and snacks. For boys the main gate will be open 24/7,for girls , the hostel intime deadline is 10pm.classes start from 8pm and end at 5pm no.of classes depends on week timetable, it's generally safe for hangout in NITW in night, the atmosphere is pleasant.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course is relevant because we are not just studying theory all the time. Along with regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects and problem solving which actually feels useful. It feels like the course is designed to help us build skills that we will need later not just clear semester exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

Before joining I thought it would be like any other engineering college where we just study for exams. But after coming here, I felt it's a bit different. We do have theory classes, but there are also coding sessions, projects and assignments almost every week. Sometimes it gets a little hectic but I think it's actually helping us learn better. The syllabus feels relevant.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course has been a nice mix of theory and practical work. We don't just sit through lectures all day there are coding sessions, projects, assignments, and hands on activities that make the subjects easier to understand. It feels like you are learning skills that you'll use later. One thing I noticed after joining is that the classes don't feel the same every day. Some days are regular lectures while on others we are working on coding problems, assignments or small projects. That change keeps things interesting.

Placement Experience:

I think IN-campus Placements are the best thing that this college may offer. This is one of the top college in Telangana so almost every top company gives a chance to this college companies like Cisco, Insfosys, TCS, Cognizent, Accenture and many more. The highest package is 34LPA last year 2024, and the average is 7LPA i think.I think almost 60 to 70 percentage of people get place in the companies.I plan to get place in the top most comnmpany in the Telanagana after getting degree.
