Remarks

I loved my college life but course didn't go well so little disappointed, had few arrears to pass. but overall was a good awesome experience in college. College day experience was the best in the whole.

Entrance Preview

I joined this college by counselling. There is counselling code for each college. I opted this college because i loved the infrastructure and the lab structure. I scored 154 cut off so i got seat easily.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is set by anna university which is of high standard. Course covers entire electrical equipment.

Internships Opportunities

Internship is not considered much in the college. We get one week time and in that due time we go to companies in chennai and get our certificate. We go for 1 week and get certificate for that week and present it to college.

Placement Experience

Placement is of 2 types. Off campus and on campus. On campus opportunities are good enough for many, though i didnt get selected but still many got.

College Events

College events are many which are grandly celebrated. Few of them are college day, department day, inaugural day, induction, and many more. Symposium are also conducted in which i once coordinated .

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is set by anna university as i joined through counselling. Fees are less but other expenditure costs more. Exam fees, record expense and transport cost more than college fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

Many bank provide loans for study at less interest rate. Scholarship i didnt get so dont know much about it. nor i got any loan. but i heard many banks grant loan depending on marks.

Campus Life

Campus life is strict. We have uniform in college. This is one and only problem i faced. Rest all is enjoyable in college. I loved the colleagues of the college.

Hostel Facilities

I didnt stay in hostel so cant describe much about it. Hostel as far as i have seen is pretty tidy and clean though warden is strict and dont allow people staying late night outside. there is no such place to roam at night in the town still people like ch

Alumni/Alumna

Senior are not that much suportive. But still the dont trouble any of the juniors and at times are helpful. They help out in practicals as well as mini project . Final year project is what we dont get much support in the college.

Exam Structure

Exams are considered as the most important feature in CK college. everyday evening we have small test kind of thing where all important excepted questions are made to learn and write. Semester exam are usually tough compared to other university.

Faculty

Faculty are good and co operative. They teach us a lot and also help us in solving our problems.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

The admission process is easily processed. No entrance exam, only check for cut-off marks. A minimum of 60 percentage marks is eligible for admission.
