All type of books are available they celebrate pongal diwali even onam and our college biggest fest is natchatira it's very good they giving ticket free for entry every college so very good in that maner

I applied many college in counseling but I don't get any college because of my cutoff mark in 12th so I went to vels but one things they not offered any donation and I paid fees in second round I get jerusulam but I like vels so I contiunes

Staffs and student relationship is very good I like my English mam she is very polite and she helped in every situation , I don't like my class incharge she is very rude not even she help not giving correct information

Night Life

S Kolathur atheics gym is very good and library in Guindy is very nearby beach zudio shoping t nagar apl are very good to visit in Chennai and very useful full hotle itc so much of hotle located by our area

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

Vels University is not that bad

It's very easy to get admission in this college as the admission procedure is very simple. You can directly go to the head office, and you can contact the people sitting in the reception. They'll guide you and throughout the admission. Also, it's near to the airport, which should make a travel entry for the students who are coming from the other states.
