Remarks

Good college for studying with good culture and environment. Only one thing is bad that is placement cell is not worthy the facilities are very good the faculties are qualified but when you do everything and last not get placed its hurt.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good and tough as almost same as IITs or NITs. Exam structure is good they are divided into two parts like internal or external we have to pass both one to get promoted to next semester.

Placements are bad not to the level, Almost 50 % were placed and others have to get placed by themselves. No our college don't provide internship, they have to get it by themselves. But the alumni are very helpful in getting the students placed.

College Events

Events are celebrated in very good manner, There is lots of events and very good sponsored. There are funds for different cultural programs There are international and national level events. Everything is free for the students

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible and very low. Every student is able to manage the fees and monthly expenses. And also the scholarship is available for the students who have poor background. Fees is paid one time so no burden on student between the year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes i availed scholarship every year which are provided by government of india and also some scholarship for the poor students. As the university is central the fees is very low so many can afford it.

Campus Life

Very good every things are present in the campus like music club, drama club, debating club and many more. No one ever get low and bore in my College. Lots of extra curricular activities are present and a special department for sport

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are very good and cheap, there is enough rooms for lots of students, food quality is average and staffs are good and there is no shortage. Singles, doubles, and dormitory type rooms are available.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes very much helpful ,they help you in getting placed and always giving advice regarding the career. There are many notable alumni of Aligarh Muslim University like Dr. Zakir Hussain, Naseeruddin shah, jawed akhtar etc

Admission

By preparing for the entrance exam and qualifying the exam. After cracked the exam we have to come for the documents verification and the reporting. After submitting all the required documents, i got the admission in my course.

Faculty

Faculties are good some are very good some are average but all are well qualified and experienced. The way teaching is normal or we can say that conventional. All faculties are qualified from good institute.

Likes

Environment is good, the overall environment is calm
The hostel is good, it is hygienic and provides regular maintainence
The campus feels quiet safe and have good security with strict regulations

Dislikes

The network connectivity is not up to the mark
There are very less number of cultural events taking place in this college
Hectic study schedules which leaves no time for extra curricular activitoes

Placement Experience:

Placements of thos college is quiet good Many big companies provides internships and placements This year also quiet many students got placed TCS visited the campus for hiring Average packhage is 15 lakh per annum

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

Life at SRM.

Likes

A good and friendly environment on campus where students from all around nearby cities and states stay together in harmony.
Interactive classes and faculty is also very supportive.
The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

I liked the faculties of my college they are very supportive and helpful towards the students.
I like the curriculum which more learning based then theory
I like the support that is provided by the college towards the placements of the students

I don't like the attendence system of our college it very hectic to students
There is lot of focus on exam in my college which I don't like
Syllabus are not updated in our college we are studying very old things

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

Likes

There are very good and highly qualified Faculties for each subject.
There is lot of clubs and groups which give exposure to the students.
Location of College is best in Greater Noida

Dislikes

There is little busy management and take time to respond query.
Highly busy schedule of college timings.
There can be delay in examinations from its expected date.

Placement Experience:

Placement in GCET is one of the good In greater Noida colleges. The average package of this college is 4-6 L.P.A. Companies like TCS, J.P Morgan, Josh Technology, L.G etc visited every year. Mass recruiters like wipro,infosys,capegemini also visited every year. About 85% students every year placed from the college. After getting degree my plans are getting very good placemnt from this college.

In my college placement is good and increasing every year as I have heard from s masters senior in past 4 days 1000 students have been placed and placements are still going on and there is a dedicated placement cell in our college and also skilled students can get upto 40-60LPA and average is 6-7 LPA and my plans after degree is to go for masters as I have intrest in MTECH too and 60-70% gets placement and it's still increasing and companies visit such as wipro hcl LG delloite etc

good exposure for kids to grow and flourish. Good student crowd. People from all different backgrounds are there and students are mostly smart and are willing to learn new things. Overall good exposure for students
Good cafeteria will reasonable food and both north and south India food options
Regular events and seminars are conducted with guests lectures

Dislikes

Very pricey fee structure, fee could have been a little less
Attendance policy is very strict and follows mandatory 80% attendance
Placements are not that great as off now

Course Curriculum Overview:

I Would say that's it's average. Like other colleges only. However one good thing is we have one or two elective paper almost every semester in which we can choose particular subjects according to our interest.

A Glimpse of Life in Aligarh Muslim University

I chose this college mainly because of the less fees structure and the greenary campus , a good place to study.Moreover, I'm preparing for govt exams also, so the time needed during M.tech. is enough to focus on exams too. Also, I don't want any gap between the study and job as we have to justify later during interview (the year gaps , if any). I applied for this college only. Highly affordable fee of course and hostel fee. Hostel provides us so many facilities in a very basic pay of 1500 per month including mess and other things. For m.ed we have to prepare for an entrance test. Forms of amu m.ed are generally out during january- march period. The paper is of 100 marks, only mcq, based on core papers of b.ed. the cutoff is around 55+ for general+external candidate and 40+ for internal. The admission process is smooth and easy.
