What Students Say

Likes

Teachers are supportive they help you with you problems
tech based learning giving you exposure of the current scenario

Dislikes

it is bit crowded with large number of students
attendance criteria sometimes does not allow you take emergency leave

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is relevant to modern subjects like AI, and cloud core topics are strong, as well as practical exposure. Exams are moderate with real-world projects and industry focus, latest technology is engaged

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 159000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships from companies like Celebal Technologies TCS in roles like web dev, data analyst, and software developer. Projects include web app ML models. Some pay around 5k to15 k for a resume boost. Galgotia provides its internship as a campus ambassador

Placement Experience

Placements at Galgotias are decent, especially for CSE and its branch companies like Wipro, TCS and infosys, Amazon, and HCL. Visit the campus, around 70-80 students get placed with a better chance than students who are good at coding aptitude and communication skills

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee for my B.The Tech program at Galgotias University is 159000. This amount includes all components such as tuition fees, exam fees, lab fees, etc. In my case, I was awarded a 100% waiver on fees based on 12marks. The university also offers various scholarships. Additionally, students who get 9 plus CGPA get scholarships

Campus Life

Campus life is active with fests, a good library, smart classrooms, sports, and clubs. The cell keeps students engaged and helps in overall growth. Infrastructure is good with all the comforts available for effective learning

Admission

I chose Galgotias University for its good placement record, modern curriculum, and 100 scholarship admission was simple based on 12th marks and exposure to industry-based learning, and its location in Delhi NCR at the centre

Faculty

Faculty-to-student ratio is 1:20, and most teachers are approachable, like Dr Neeraj Kumar, who handles programming subjects. They focus on practical applications and help in understanding topics better

Night Life

Nightlife is calm. Campus shuts by 7 pm, hostels by 10 pm, gym by 10 pm, cafes, etc, remain open for late-night cravings. Area is safe but not very lively at night campus is very big for evening strolls and all indoor sports are available to make your life active

Other Applied Colleges

Chandigarh University - [CU] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Due to the large crowd.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

I wanted to go to VIPS, Pitampura. I did get admission there but they did not update the 4 year course policy which was newly released by the govt on their website and ipu website. Due to this my budget messed up and I had to back up. I specially prepared for this exam but in the end I ended up going to a private university where I feel like I wasted my time and money. This university is not how it may look like. It may be good in terms of fees but the faculty and courses that get taught are like as if pursuing two degrees with no meaning. The admission process was simple and east. Fill an application form and go to GCET and get everything done there that's all. No complicated thing....Read More
