Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course includes very major topics that if studied right a specific course to clear GATE won't be needed. It contains all the major subjects that a Btech student might need to learn to actually become a b tech student in the first place. I overall really liked the subjects and curriculum in my course

Internships Opportunities

4

During the summer internship, we were asked to do a mandatory internship or a global certification course right after the first year, although it's not easy to get an internship right after the first year in a college but our college was indeed providing on campus internship which I think was of pretty good value as it was directly affiliated with college and I don't know too much in that coz I did a global certification for myself but I heard they were pretty good.

Placement Experience

4

Placements are offered in our college, infact the focus of college has recently increased overall. I am not overall sure about the things related with this topic as I have not really tried to found out reason being I want to prepare myself before I try to apply for placements and sitting for interviews.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have opted for Bus service along with the tution fees which for this 5 th semester went for a total of 1.5 lakh which Includes 25000 of bus fees and this fees is of 1 semester. For 1,25,000, I am studying B. Tech CSE with specialization in Cybersecurity which is a very rare course offered by colleges.

Campus Life

5

Although I don't participate in clubs and sports, the potential is pretty high, there are clubs for everything over here, sports, dance, theatre, music, you name it. Campus life is also really good, the campus is quite big, there is peace over here, trips are organised both by college and students too, industrial visits are there. Library is quite big with books and computers present. Wifi is also there. Overall campus life is pretty much 5 stars.

Admission

I applied to a couple colleges, although I didn't really got rejected but I was not getting the course I wanted. The reason for specifically choosing this college was that no other college was offering a course specifically B Tech CSE with specialization in cyber security. As I wanted to learn cybersecurity because of my interest, K R Mangalam became my one and only choice. As part of govt colleges, I didn't really studied much to clear an exam.

Faculty

4

Faculties are pretty approachable and are friendly too, some are strict but are pretty good at teaching concepts. Even if someone doesn't like a faculty the students can complain to the deans and those complains are taken very seriously. Our class coordinator, Dr. Aman Jatain mam is a really good teacher and very friendly. Faculties are good overall, for a faculty which I didn't really liked would be life skills because I didn't really liked the subject overall. Exams are totally based on how attentive we were in the classes as they are totally based on the topics studied. Easy if we know the topics well, Obv hard if we don't know anything

Interview Experience

5

There was no Group Discussion but I did had to sit in an interview which was not too hard, admission overall was not a hard thing to get in this college. I filled the form, paid the registration fees, did a campus visit, did the interview, paid the fees and got the admission.

Night Life

4

I have never really stayed around the campus after day time as I am a day scholar but asuch as I have heard it's pretty good. There are plenty of cafes over here, there is a Gym, library is closed after 5 pm. Rest I don't really know because I am a day scholar.

Campus placements are offered with many companies visiting (700-800+). Highest packages can go high (Rs 30-56 LPA), but averages and typical offers vary (~ Rs 6-7 LPA), and placements rates differ by batch. Some students also pursue internships or off-campus jobs if campus offers are limited.

Placement Experience:

Four campus placements student get eligible after the 6th semester and from 6th semester companies come and they search for their Perfect suit And they just simply Conduct their interviews in the College campus Various companies visited our college like HCL,TCS and many more Offering a basic scale payoff around 6,00,000 Per year. Average package for our college is around three to six lakhs and the highest package a student got is around 54 lakhs Per year. For sitting in placement at least 6 cgpa is required to Get eligible for Placements But most of the companies ask for 7CGPA and above and only few companies are there which demand 6 cgpa students. My planes after getting this degree is Doing a job and then Lumping amount So that I can open up my business in the form of cafe or something else. But somewhere I will like to become nlp engineer As I have interest in sound processing system and AI and being from IT background I have good coding skills and communication skills. Till the age of 40 I Start my own business or a startup. At last but not least Our college has a good placement Drive system And a good academic system too and one can easily prepare for placements if he studies well.

Placement Experience:

From 2nd year onwards we can prepare for it as we are equipped with hands on experience on multiple projects and practical knowledge. Till now the highest package has reached 45 lakhs per annum. I don't think that percentage matters as practical knowledge is more superior that theory part. I am planning to go for MNCs.

I had interest in full stack development, wanted to create websites. This course has collaboration with Xebia which provides a better learning approach for full stack No much improvement if the teacher appointed is great Timings of exam is really average but it is somewhat easy. Lookout for some exams because the faculty sometimes makes tough and tricky paper just to fail students
