What Students Say
Likes
- The campus is great, filled with greenery and lawns
- Attendance is not too strict, so it is beneficial for students pursuing CA or other certifications along with their UG degree
- Active involvement in societies makes the college feel lively
Dislikes
- We didn’t have a teacher allotted to our class for a core subject for half a semester
- Irregular schedule and gaps in the timetabel
- Poor condition of the canteen, bad quality and seems unhygienic
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is informative but entirely theoratic. It doesn't teach us how to use that information and apply it to real world scenarios. The semester exams are not very difficult, but they are in such a format, that it awards marks to students who can memorize and write the most.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for Bcom Honours at Ramjas College is as follows: The yearly fees is approximately ?16,500. It isn't increasing significantly. If you choose to do a 3 year degree, it will cost you about ?50,000 in total.
Campus Life
The social life can be very great as there are thousands of students from different backgrounds to interact with. The library has a decent sized reading hall to study but there is no AC. There are a lot of societies which are helping students to learn and grow. There are a lot of sports to play like volleyball, cricket basketball, gym etc. Sport facilities are great and ground is big
Admission
I applied to multiple private universities outside Delhi, but my preference was Delhi university as I am a resident of Delhi. The admission process can get confusing due to the various quotas, reservations, and whether you will be eligible for upgrading your college in the next round or not
Faculty
Most faculty members are average, either they do not care whether you're understanding or not, or they unnecessarily deduct marks from your internals. Usually faculties are approachable. There are only end sem exams and the teachers might take a short test prior to that if they wish
Night Life
After classes students are usually hanging around near the canteen or in DS lane. Outside the college, nearby hubs like Kamla Nagar are filled with students, and it safe to roam at night as it is filled with students
