Good college with good infrastructure

A lot of positive vibes are there. But negative vibes college administration are very much reliant on decision making capabilities. Other than that college are always pretty much upto the mark in terms of placements and knowledge.

Pretty much updated course curriculum. There are also some extra curricular activities to perform in the form of societies. Exam structure is basically of two written exams one mid semester and end semester a total of 70 with 30 depending upon academic attendance and project assignments.

Placements are much better than other engineering private colleges in country with max recruitment coming from IT sectors. Core companies do come but chances are less for getting into it as due to less recruitment of people. But in IF sectors the student employment ratio is much higher with internships coming at the end of 6th sem with PPO to excellent ones.

Wide variety of events. Almost all northern side festivals are celebrated. Including some Bengali accustomed puja celebrations. Fest are there for diff branches and then there is the KIIT college fest otherwise frequent dannce singing are always there

It's quite expensive now I guess for the students taking admission in 2019 approx upto 20 lakhs p.a. They charge for hostel fees , laundry , semester fees and many other. Moreover with the hostel preferences (a.c or non a.c ) or three bed two bed the cost increases.

Scholarship are applied if you get a S.G.P.A of 9 above depending upon you being the university topper you get scholarships. No loan facilities are available from college but you can avail from bank.

Labs are pretty decent with assistant prof continuously monitoring your activities. And sports you can enjoy and play a wide variety of sports cricket, football, table tennis , lawn tennis. Separate KIIT sports complex are there for students for swimming, 8 ball pool, basketball courts.

The hostel infrastructure is the best with minimum requirements and facilities of cold and hot water with average quality food.mainly north indian dishes. The hostel wardens are always there to help you out with 24x7 ambulance services(as they say). Strict to alcohol or any type of consumption or smoking or partying or birthday celebration with a hefty fine. And detention rooms are always there to punish you.

Senior are a lot helpful. Alumni network is pretty much strong. Seniors are always friendly though certain misunderstandings happen in every college but it's ok otherwise very much good bond between teachers and students and students themselves.

Through an entrance exam (Kiitee) based upon your rank you get to select the course of your choice. Women have special quota of ranking system. Admission process occurs in the form of counseling. You get to choose your desired field depending upon the rank you got.

Pretty much decent faculty and all reputed degree holders from IIT and NIT background. Good knowledge. As there is a wide variety of crowd Language barrier may be problem for some but it's all acceptable as teachers or professors are excellent in communication in all three languages
