Very good college for placement when compared to all other colleges in Coimbatore.

Course curriculum is updated every year based on the recent trends in the industry. It's based on placement and Technology updates also.

Placement Experience

Placements are excellent. Product company's visit is an extra advantage for SKCT. Companies hiring students by now a days are high. Placement cell in our college helps us lot to get into a good company with highly paid salary. Intership is also provided in SKCT. Highly paid salary is 11-12 lakh per annum.

College Events

Every year a national level technical symposium is being conducted (AVANTAA). Campus is always busy with high connectivity. Scholarship is being provided based on government norms.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure is very flexible and collected based in government norms only.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is given for all government quota students and it is continuing for all 4 years.Extra scholarship is also being provided for the students. Loan facility is given by the management.

Campus Life

Extra curricular activities are being conducted and labs are Highly equipped and gives more interest to students.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is with 24/7 wifi facilities. Separate hostel for boys and girls. SKCT has a food court and several others shops. Hostel room is shared between 4 members and hostel is also fully wifi-ed. food will be moderate but now it's good.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is very excellent and every year alumni day is being conducted and every alumni is invited for that.

Admission

I applied through Anna University Chennai and through counselling I got seat in IT department and joined here. My cut off was 183.25 and IT department is easily available for this mark. After getting seat I came to college and joined easily.

Staffs are very friendly and highly knowledgeable. It has a very good industry exposure. The main strength of SKCT is our staffs. They guide us and they are our backbone. Everyone will support at anytime.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

The network connectivity in girls hostel is poor
The food at mess is average sometimes it is not taste
The practical labs are help at distance.

Placement Experience:

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

It's like Schools .There will be special class if you didn't get much marks like schools .

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

I added skct at 3 rd place in counciling. the first two colleges i didnt get seat as my mark was low. So automatically i got skct. Government will start counciling, then you need to apply through govt website. they will make a list accordingly ouw marks. then counciling dates will be given. we need to give college list in website at provided time. You will get a course and college you have provided already. If you have seat in 1st college for your mark you will get seat or next or next . then after 3 days you will get a text message for your college details. then within 2 days you have to go to your allocated college show admission proff amd pay fees. Experience of my College

Eligibility is 75% in state board exams. I GOT into this college via counselling process by TNEA. You can also get into this college by direct admission by visiting the college.
