What Students Say
Likes
- I liked the centralised AC in campus which aids learning.
- the campus is accessible as there are ramprs or lifts for PwBD students.
Course Curriculum Overview
The core courses in our curriculum are well relate to our field of study. SEC VAC AND AEC courses introudiced by NeP offer an all round learning outside of textbooks. The learning is balanced well with theory and practical portions.
Internships Opportunities
There were 115+ offers in last internship season with average stipend being 40000 per month and highest being 3,67,000 per month. Companies ranged from Consulting to Investment m=banking to finance etc.
Placement Experience
The placements of my college are fairly good. Top recruiters like BCG and Bain recruit from our college. Students are eligible post 4th semester for placements. My plans after getting degree include doing CA. highest ackage last year was 36lpa and average was 8lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
It was 33000 in first year 30000 in second year, excluding the exam fees. There are numerous merit based, need cum merit based and need based scholarships listed in SRCC's official handbook such as Mitsubishi for merit based, and for merit cum need there is Charatram Memorial Scholarship, MC Shukla Scholarship etc.
Campus Life
The societies are very active in SRCC, with over 60+ societies, both cultural and academic there is a lot of exposure, SRCC library has a vast collection of books including English Hindi and regisonal books, these include academic fiction non fiction all genres of books. Student societies are big part of SRite life.
Admission
I applied to numerous colleges in DU but SRCC was my 1st prefernce as it was my dream college. The admission process was through CUET scores and the cut off was fairly high because SRCC is the first preference of many candidates.
Faculty
The faculty is nice and supportive in all aspects. They support the students and are understanding, ofc exceptions are always there but most of them are approachable in terms of guidance for career. The exams are not that difficult considering you've prepared enough, the faculty to student ratio is 1:60 which i think can be improved.
Night Life
There is not much night life at SRCC. However north campus is said to have a vibrant and cheerful night life, there are numerous cafes in hudson lane and the area remains active even in nights as it is student area so it is fairly safe to roam around and explore at night.
