- first thing that i dislike is the curriculum, like sec vac classes
- second is that college campus is vey small
- third is that teachers don't care how much you already have on your plate they just want you to do the work given by them
Course Curriculum Overview
this course was related to my subjects in school which is the main reason that i chose this course. but only studying doesn't give you hands on experience you have to do internships and all to understand the concept. the thing i dont like the most are sec vac and aec which are the additional subjects we have to study about. test are taken weekly and monthly basis
Internships Opportunities
internship season starts from third semester for the second year students. you have to get your cv vetted from the placement cell and then they are ready to be provided to the companies. main roles that are offered are consulting intern, business development, human resource, data analysis, business analyst, etc etc.
Placement Experience
students become eligible to placements from the fifth semester. some famous companies that come for the placements are deloitte, BCG, McKinsey, pwc, adani, etc etc average package is 9 LPA and highest was 36 LPA of all time
Fees and Financial Aid
the year wise fees is around thirty one thousand. this is the only fees that you have to pay to college if you dont live in hostel otherwise hostel cost around 90000-100000 including everything. there is system for the scholarship for which you have to give test and after there is an interview. if you pass you will get around 10-15 thousand
Campus Life
campus life is fun. you join societies, do the annual events of societies which is really fun. also the main fest of the college that is Crossroads is really fun. many great artists come each day, it being a 3 day event. overall it is very fun if you are into studies too much then you are provided with ample range and accessibility of books and journals available in the library The facilities are good in the campus, ac in every class, wifi provided, affordable canteen etc etc you can also play different sports and also join the team for the college.
Admission
I am getting in srcc was purely my luck. i applied for this college because anywhere you see you will find the name of this college to be the top college in the commerce field and in every other way. i also applied for hansraj, kmc, hindu, etc but i got into my first preference. the admission process in not very complex you give cuet, score more that the cutoff, then make a preference list, and if you get into college you just have to submit the fees online on the du portal which will confirm your admission.
Faculty
some of the faculty members are really great and really approachable but some are very strict and also somewhat rude. i am not taking the name but one best faculty i had was in law department and the worst was in the accounting.
Night Life
night life is good, you can roam freely in the campus till 8 pm ( for non hostelers). and outside also many shops are open till midnight. hostel timings are 10 30 pm and campus closes at 8 pm some really famous places you can go are MKT, hauz khas, Chandni Chowk, etc etc
