What Students Say

Likes

I like the infrastructure of galgotias university
In galgotias university there are sitting area like group discussion
I like to get security for ragging by guards and university rules.

Dislikes

Personally i don't like the timing of classes
There are so many croud in the university
Cafeteria foods are costly to purchase .

Course Curriculum Overview

Since I don't have personal experience as a student at Galgotias University, I can't provide a subjective rating or mention specific aspects that influenced my (an AI's) decision. I can evaluate the course curriculum's relevance and comprehensiveness objectively and provide insights into the academic framework

Class Size: 54Course Fees: INR 175000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Yeah there are many opportunities in this university.according to me and my knowledge students are getting internship from the second years . Microsoft,Apple, Infosys etc many companies provides internship

Placement Experience

Eligible from Sem 7. 900+ recruiters like Microsoft, Amazon visit. Highest Package: ?1.5 Cr & ?52 LPA , Avg Package: ?5.4LPA. 98% placed. Roles: SDE, Analyst. High employability; I plan to join a top tech company to get internship

Fees and Financial Aid

Galgotias University fees vary widely (1.1L to 1.8L/year for B.Tech). The total course fee is ?6.8 L (B.Tech). Fees typically increase yearly. Scholarships include 100% tuition waivers for top JEE Ranks/12th toppers and merit-based waivers (30%) for high GPA during the course. Contact Admissions for exact SC/ST/Management fees.

Campus Life

There are so many clubs like technojam, cyber cell, stage management ,camcircle etc. but personally I joined the technojam which is related to tech hackathon and internship .Campus life at Galgotias University is vibrant and socially active, balancing a "happening" student atmosphere with solid infrastructure.

Admission

Chose Galgotias over Amity/LPU for better ROI & location. Missed NITs due to low JEE rank/high cutoffs. Admission is smooth via JEE/CUET . Simple process: Apply Online -> Merit List -> Document Verification. Great "Plan B" for engineering aspirants. Yes I got rejection from many colleges at the end when I get restless I choose galgotias university.after studying in this university i realise that it is my best decision.

Faculty

The ratio is generally cited to be around 50:1 to 60:1.The curriculum is considered industry-oriented, especially in technology and management programs.Difficulty Exams are moderate. Students who struggle are often those with low attendance

Night Life

I had never go outside of college after night .yeah there are gym, cafeteria, big library, public area in university.but the most famous hangout area is cafeteria .all things are good in hostel except food and timing

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

I wanted to go to VIPS, Pitampura. I did get admission there but they did not update the 4 year course policy which was newly released by the govt on their website and ipu website. Due to this my budget messed up and I had to back up. I specially prepared for this exam but in the end I ended up going to a private university where I feel like I wasted my time and money. This university is not how it may look like. It may be good in terms of fees but the faculty and courses that get taught are like as if pursuing two degrees with no meaning. The admission process was simple and east. Fill an application form and go to GCET and get everything done there that's all. No complicated thing....Read More
