Course Curriculum Overview
Apart from core subjects there are alot of option to choose subjects such as skills enhancement courses or value added course which offer wise variety of curriculum. These course bulid practical skills like IT tools, communication boosts internal marks , improves additional knowledge
Internships Opportunities
College placement cell - vriddhi offers many intership opportunities through out the session and also offer great placement opportunities for the third year students. Last sessions the cell collaborated with the companies like AIM group, agile capital services, yaadgar safar, insplore consultant , and they offer impressive profiles like content writer , finance intern, mangement trainee , social media management and many more. 200+ students securing offer last year with highest stipend offered 15k per month in the last session .
Fees and Financial Aid
Year wise fees for the 1st year bcom hons students is 34000 as compared to other DU college it's little bit high only . And their are many scholarship benefits that college provides. There are many scholarship provided by delhi University.
Campus Life
My overall experience at DRC has been engaging , supportive and full of opportunities. Being in North campus it has energetic atmosphere where somthing is always happening . The college has its annual fest - manjari around March April ever year which is one of the main highlights . Apart from that many society and department has its own annual fest giving students multiple platforms to participate and grow. The library is spacious and peaceful with good collection of books , reference and journals . College provides range of extra curricular activities through its active societies
Admission
I applied for all top Delhi University colleges like srcc, kmc ,hansraj etc . According to DU admission procedure you make a preference list of the college and course you which to opt for . My college was in top 15 preference and then according to my marks I got the allotment. Anc i choose it because it strong academic reputation , located in north campus which offer exposure to societies , competition, fest . It's a safe and supportive campus for girls
Faculty
Commerce faculty is great in my college. They are quite approachable . They helped us alot in understanding the curriculum and have been quite supportive through out the semester. Drf follows semester wise exam system with 2 semester in a year . Course curriculum is not that updates and relevant though
Night Life
The night life around north campus is one of the best part. Though the college close by evening however the surroundings north campus area stays lively giving students plenty of safe hangouts options Popular spots like hudson lane , kamla nagar, vijay nagar , gtb nagar remains active till late evening with cafes , restaurant, rooftops , street food joints . Kamala nagar market is a major spot of shopping and hangouts.
