Only one bad highlight of the college is that now it under ranjit singh university which is established in 2015 itself. Previously it is under punjab technical university which is good. I think this is the only bad highlight. The good thing is study envir

Entrance Preview

I took direct admission through management. I have choose b.tech because i love machine and to deal with it. I liked this college because it has good study and also the teachers are highly qualified.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very good. The teachers are highly qualified. The environment of the college is also good.

Internships Opportunities

Many of the companies came here to take bright minds with them. For all branches company came here and take the good students with them.

Placement Experience

Placements and job opportunities are good but not very good. Its depends upon the students capabilities. They offer salary according to it.

College Events

Festivals are very low but they organize various quiz and other games for the students. That is highly appreciated.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The hostel fees is rs-26000 without a/c, the hostel environment is ok. For a/c around 30000rs. The PG has a fees of around 3000rs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes for backward class students scholarship is available like sc caste,obc caste etc. About loans i don't know about it.

Campus Life

Campus life is very good here. College also arrange extracurricular activities for the students. There is no diversity among students for various caste, sexual orientation, race,religion etc.

Seniors are quite good. They motivates us about the technology and coming trend.The experience with them is very good.

An honest look at campus

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

SLIET longowal has well structured curriculum as per new education policy with well structured labs. to prepare for real world, college provide funds for startup and also motivate students to gain industry exposure. Many improvements can be done in curriculum like integration of cutting edge technologies, smart board, digital labs. There are three exams per semester two minors which take place in month of august and september and major or end sem exam in month of october, the timing of exam was from 1 pm to 4 pm. the difficulty level of exam is moderate

Placements in lovely professional university is decent and dont know much about it as i am in 1st year only but there were mandatory Placement classes for all which you need to select in 1st year only for which you need to pay extra 20k for the classes.

Remarks:

Good staff are very nice and supportive nature. There are not any faculty problem. Functions are organized in a very large scale which is very good. Ragging are strictly banned in college which is very good for fresher students. BAD: lack of equipment and machines in labs. Lack of practical knowledge for students.

I like the all facilities of my college. I give all the advantages and disadvantages of my education and college.

I also applied for the other college because I thought that in India there are number of colleges which provide better education but some colleges staff could not behave nicely like punjabi university patiala staff. Then I apply for another Coll but they are fake they just took adminission of students and can't provide education. So then my friend suggest me to study at RIMT university because he also studied there and I also like the college and the facilities of the college . The staff and students are very good and I like the system of college. The admission process of my college is they don't take any exam directly take admission. Then they need some certificates and 12th & 10 th marks sheet. So they have proof that student is able to study in a college and they also give 10,20,30 % scholarships to students according to their percentages in board classes ....Read More
