Likes

Our collage has huge where many sports events take place and we all enjoy watching cricket matches there
Our library has all book that are related to our academics and it is full air conditioned
Our collage has two free wifi one is from our collage and one is from our university

Dislikes

We have two canteens both of them serve the worst food in this world
Our collage has poor water drainage system due to which water gets collected at the entry gates
The computer science faculty is not very nice with students of other courses

Course Curriculum Overview

In terms of relevance of bcom hons course it is a solid eight because we taught about digital marketing and ai in management.In accounts we are taught tally which is an globally used accounting software

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 63570 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I have to pay my fees semester wise which 31785 per semester for bcom hons.In addition to this we have to registration fees for the du exam that is around 1500-2000 depending on the subjects you choose.Our collage also offers some scholarship for students with family income less than 2.5 lakhs.

Campus Life

We have a huge campus with many sitting areas.We have a lot of clubs and societies,I am part of the art society and the finance society.The fashion,dance and acting societies regularly perform in our collage campuses.

Admission

Our collage takes addmission through cuet and I wanted to go to Shri Ram College of commerce but as the cutoff of srcc was very high I got Sgtb Khalsa.Overall Khalsa has a good environment but the infrastructure needs to improve a little bit.

Faculty

Our core teachers of accounting and management are very good but our business law faculty is not very nice.We all have to take additional subjects with our main subject,I found out that computer science faculty is not very friendly with students of arts or commerce background

Interview Experience

No my took addmission souley through cuet results by registering on du csas portal.But for clubs and societies everyone has to participate in interviews and group discussions that are conducted by their respective societies.

Night Life

Our collage doesn't have a good night life as our collage is surrounded with other collage but all groups hangout in Kamla nagar market as there are some cafes and clubs that one can enjoy.Most of our collage goes to Hauz khas for clubbing

Shyam Lal College( Morning) Review

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

SRCC- Asia's Best college experience

Placement Experience:

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.

A Detailed Review on ARSD College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although, people say that B.Com doesn't have a great scope to it, I feel like there are many life lessons that we are taught during our college years. Since the introduction of NEP 2020, there has been a rather great emphasis on practical learning. In our college, we are asked for presentations and group projects to promote learning and communication. The presence of SEC and VAC also helps you develop your soft skills, groom your personality and live a happy and healthy life. Exams are help at the end of every semester. There are a few guides and PYQs with the help of which a student can prepare for these exams. They are relatively easy in my opinion and do not require extreme efforts. Overall, it's a great experience and a great opportunity to learn so many things.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose b.Com because I am from a commerce background. It is an open college class held only on Sundays classrooms are good but washrooms are average. Teachers are experienced and well-educated. Exams are held on every 6 months semester wise you have to study hard to clear exams.
