Course Curriculum Overview

There are two internals namely CAT-1 and CAT-2 each of 50 marks and semester exams. 20 marks are additional and are in the hands of the faculty and that can be given on the basis of attendance, good behaviour etc

Placement Experience

The placements are good. The maximum package amount is increasing day by day and many companies come for placement of computer science students. Infosys , samsung , ericssion , Cognizant, wipro etc. Many off campus drives also happen that gives ample opportunities to students to get placed.

College Events

G-Quasar or the galgotias unifest is conducted each year in which students participate in multiple events and many known people are invited to perform on these. Farewell , freshers and sports events are other activities that make life interesting.

Fee Structure And Facilities

At my time the fees structure was justifiable. I opted for cloud computing and virtualisation and it was a pretty good experience in terms of learning. The faculties are helpful and help in overall development of a student.

Fees and Financial Aid

They have a criteria for fees wavier. It is based on the percentage of class 12th. It was 93%> than 25% off on the tution fees. UP government also provides scholarships for students based on multiple criteria.

Hostel Facilities

I stayed in hostel for 3 years and it was a good time. The food improved with time. The quality of food is good. The cafeteria is also good and has multiple options

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumi meets are being conducted now which helps in junior senior interactions. Seniors can come to class and give suggestions to juniors about how to prepare and how things work in corporate life.

Admission

Merit List: as my PCM score was good thus I got admission through merit list in my university. The admission criteria was simple and the process was not hectic. Just filled the form to Galgotias’s University and got the call letter from them.

Faculty

The college faculty is good. There are many well educated and highly qualified faculties who can devote their time to let the students teach the concepts.

Likes

Good Faculty : Faculty are supportive to your carrer growth they will provide guidance whenever you needed...
Campus Facilities: Infrastruture,labs everything is up to date accoding to the current need of the present.
Curriculum: Up to date industry oriented syllabus .

Dislikes

Strict Rules: rules are somewhere more stricter for college id,entering and exiting time .
Crowded classes: some classes are crowded sometimes
placement competition many students participating in the placements.

Placement Experience:

At NIET Greater Noida students becomes eligible for sitting in the placements from the 7th sem, with placement preparation starting earlier . Companies from IT sectors and others are visiting college. In my batch time the company that comes are JP Morgan & Chase , Razorpay, Juspay, TCS, Cognizant etc.

Great learning environment, experienced faculty, and value for money education.

Likes

The faculty members are very supportive, highly experienced, and always ready to help students with their queries.
The course fee is extremely affordable and provides great value for money for students in this region.
The campus has a peaceful learning environment with a good gender ratio of around 1:1 for boys and girls.

Dislikes

On-campus placement opportunities are limited, and students mostly need to look for off-campus jobs.
Campus infrastructure needs modernization, including better Wi-Fi access and updated lab equipment.
More practical exposure and industry-oriented training programs should be added to the curriculum.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers all essential topics required for higher studies. The curriculum is detailed and helps build strong subject basics. Teaching methods are traditional, so adding more interactive sessions and skill-based learning would be a great improvement. Exams take place every semester along with internal class tests, which helps in continuous evaluation without extra stress

Likes

Infrastructure is top notch. From smart screens to comfortable chairs nothing is old.
Cafeteria has numerous options of food so there aren't any issues except the prices vary.
Campus is very big and has plants that I personally loved.

Dislikes

Faculty is the most troublesome part. Favoritism doesnt end in school but it continues at different places.
Crowd is another dissappointing factor as it may sound people from different parts are coming but the noise they bring is disturbing.
The university management is pathetic. They will make you run from floors to floors of different blocks just to get you tired and end up saying come tomorrow our time is over.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students become eligible for internship and jobs related to their courses. Department provides numerous opportunities and offers to students for enrolling in different internships and they help you get that. In bajmc I haven't seen any senior getting enrolled in a news channel yet but they do provide internship opportunities at other companies which may be alright. Most students get placed for internship somewhere or the other. My plans after getting the degree is to get back to news.

Likes

The office staff is very good and helps in every problem that is faced by a child and provides solution for that.
The teachers are supportive and helps students with great conceptual lectures.
The campus has a huge area and gymnasium and big grounds are available for physical fitness and games.

Dislikes

The toilets are not clean and it should be taken care of because it looks very unhygienic.
There are some students who come to college just for making the environment bad and also the College ID is not checked so anyone can enter the campus easily.
The fans and benches for students are very old and should be changed because it cause discomfort for the students.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester, the students are eligible for Placements. Wipro TATA INFOSYS Accenture ICICI bank Mahindra Are the some companies where studets gets placed. It think the highest package was 20 LPA and lowest package is 2.4 LPA. 25- 30 percent students are placed. My plan is to persue MBA after getting the BBA degree while doing a job.

Likes

The quality of study is very appreciable. As our syllabus is very updated. Also the practical knowledge in colleges very good as well.
New buildings for 1st year as to prevent ragging is a very plus point. This prevent first year student from ragging and also give them a very friendly and good environment as well.
The placements are very good as in terms of quantity and quality as well many many companies came here and also many big companies which do not come in any other colleges in greater Noida also come in NIET.

Dislikes

The one thing I decide is high requirement of attendance which is 85% attendance by this criteria we get less time in fore hours kill enhancement and learning other things.
Also the coding culture is quite not good for 1st year as well so this thing also I don't like.
The other thing I don't like is that the assignments pressure was quite high in semester one and very very much assignments was given to our branches as well.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for setting in the campus placements is from 6 semester. And for internships the students become eligible from 4th semester and the internship is mandatory for every student. The companies visiting the college are quite in number. The highest placements which was offered during the ongoing placement is 44 lpa. And the average packages for company and profiles of a days 7 to 8 LP. The percentage of students getting placements are very good as 80 to 90% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get the highest placement

The environment is soo supportive and faculty is soo good
The infrastructure of the university is soo goated
Here I am getting to learn much more like we have everything to study that is needed

The timing of the university or the class
Management is not good at all they don't have much classes

I will rate 4 out 5 because the course is very interesting The curriculum prepare vey well and real word application They say active learning and the improvement I want is that in physiology practical class I want them to make us perform the practical

I liked the teaching methods of some professors in our college .Their way of teaching is unique . In our college boy and girl ratio is approximately 5 to 1.
I also liked the ground and sports facilities of our college . Our college has 3 big grounds and a sac also a gym which has latest equipments and many more things.
The fests of our college is amazing , recently a fest called kashiyatra happened which is biggest fest of our college

Dislikes

I disliked the infrastructure of our college . Our college do not have ac in lecture halls or even there is no single ac for students in campus .
In our college the equipments in manufacturing practice are very old they are rusted and facilities don't even want to tell about those equipments. They are lazy .
Our college IIT bhu don't have their boundaries it is connected to bhu that's why clashes happened every month . Students of IIT and bhu fight every month and the service of proctor in IIT bhu is very disrespectful,they are lazy and don't take actio

Placement Experience:

Our college IIT bhu provides placement at end of year companies came for hiring students and hire them . Our IIT has 2nd rank in terms of placement in all iits. At the end of 3rd year students became eligible for campus placements. Our college also provide internship in third year companies came for internship in our college. My plans after getting degree is to get a high paying job in india and give financial stability to my family. Approximately 70 percent students get job in placement sessions.

After completing the course they are provided with an internship of 12000 per month There are no placement provided by the college You have to give pg exam to get a placement In mbbs there is no such placement that a college can provide

Research approach is missing in my college

Give big campus like other collage because government college is begger and. Better

the last year placement is 12 lakh per anuum in 2023 my senior who was completed plastic engineering from cipet ipt lucknow he got 12 lakh package in maruti suzuki company and other senior are also got good placement like 9 lakh or 7 lakh per anuum

TPO and Director behaviour they are totally unable to make your future bright

I would like to inform uh that electronic and communication is a very good trade to choose. So many carreer opportunities if you will go in in industrial area, or in government sector. Make some connections with ur seniors others it is tough to enter in industry for freshers.

I wanted to go to VIPS, Pitampura. I did get admission there but they did not update the 4 year course policy which was newly released by the govt on their website and ipu website. Due to this my budget messed up and I had to back up. I specially prepared for this exam but in the end I ended up going to a private university where I feel like I wasted my time and money. This university is not how it may look like. It may be good in terms of fees but the faculty and courses that get taught are like as if pursuing two degrees with no meaning. Great learning environment with modern facilities and campus life
