Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course overall is good. It covers most of the fundamentals. What i found hard is that some soubjects where Open Book examination. Most of my core subjects went into open book. The thing about Open book subject is that studying is easy. But the way the questions are framed is scenerio based and will be harder to answer by relating to our subject. Which is a good thing. The teaching methods can be more practical. The exams difficulty level is like 5/10 for me.

Placement Experience

5

The placements is really good. They started our placement training in our 2nd year itself. for the next batches they are starting from first year. They give importance for placements. Many companies visit our college for internships and campus placements. The training is also done by good training institutes like CCC etc. Students are categorised according to their performance in the tests which has aptitude and coding rounds. I myself is a part of Super Dream Batch. There will be a lot of tests but they gradually prepare u for the placements. Highest package last year for arounf 50L per annum and this year its around 41L per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

For 4 years of bachelor's degree i am paying 11L. Around 27500 each year. Apart from this there is no food or bus charges. For hostels they will get extra. Also for placement training we have payement of around 14k for two years. I got a scholarship of 10% of that years tution fee for securing top 11th rank in my department.

Campus Life

5

The overall campus experience is Okay. U can connect with many people. The college conducts very nice events. And the culturals is a blast. The library is good. But not that big. I never seen much of Sports here. Maybe its only for hostellers. They can improve. There are many clubs. Students can take part and be a member.

Admission

I applied for VIT and SRM because my math scores in 12th boards werent that good. So I didnt apply for government based colleges. VIT i got seat in Andha Pradesh. I didnt wanna go there. Sathyabama is very near to my home like 30mins away. I also tried in St Joseph but the fees was too high the BE CSE same course costed 16L there. SRM is also too far from my home. So I ended up with Sathyabama.

Faculty

5

The faculties are very friendly and supportive. They motivate you to do new innitiatives. They are qualified and proffessional. Some of my favourites are V Saranya Ma'am, Prince Mary Ma'am, Jeslin Ma'am. The course curriculum is mostly theorical than practical. I mostly found it easier. We have two exams for internals - CAE1 and CAE2. These are for 50 marks and passing criteria is 50%. For end Semester the paper is for 80 marks. Passing is easy. Scoring is also easy if the student puts efforts.

Night Life

4

I am a Day Scholar so I not sure. According to my friends the hostel is okayish. Many preffered PG more than hostel. I am not sure about this. Campus timing is from 9am to 3.15pm. Its reasonable. But it will give me more of school vibes than college vibes. As the college is situated in OMR u have a lot of places to go to around here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.
