Likes

All classrooms in the advanced studies block are equipped with individual systems for students.
They don't impose strict rules regarding the dress code and are quite liberal.
They have various lab facilities which can be used by students for their project works.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum that we have been provided for our program is quite standard.The curriculum is quite same for all the specializations at the beginning and they start differing only from the 3rd or 4th semester depending on your course.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 425000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

We were required to pay an amount of 4,50,000 for the first year and 4,25,000 for the remaining three years of the program.The fee structure may be different now and it would increase if you are looking for hostel fascilities.

Campus Life

The camous life in Sathyabama is quite nice.We have a lot of events and workshops taking place throughout the year.Some are department specific while the others are for everyone.The major events that we have are our cultural fest which gets help every year furing the month of february.Moreover they organize hostel day which is similar to the cultural fest which is exclusively for the hostel students.They also organize fresher's day for the first years.The library is huge and mostly has the books that we require.And there are various student clubs available as well.

Admission

I chose this college over other colleges because this was more liberal while maintaining integrity at the same time.They let focus on the education part more than the other factors like dress code and other strict rule impositions.The campus life here is quite enjoyable.

Faculty

The faculty members are all quite aualified as most of them have either completed master's or have a doctorate.The faculty that i have met are all very nice and supportive.They encourage students and guide them very well.

Night Life

The college is situated in OMR near navalur which is quite famous for having a lot of hangout spots.The most popular ones are the malls available in that area.The Marina Mall and the Vivira mall are both the famous hangout spots where you can spot students from Sathyabama.Apart form that there are various restaurants available across the area which are good spots to visit.

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

This is the best college overall

I chose this college over others because it has a level of strictness which is good. If a college is not strict, then students will not feel the pressure to work hard.
