Course Curriculum Overview

3

Relevance - 3/5 Areas of Improvements - Course material and curriculum, Way of teaching, and Hiring worthy teachers. Exams and other things are good and it doesn't need any improvement. The curriculum doesnt prepare you for real world application. No practical knowledge gained.

Placement Experience

5

Placements in my college is good. Average salary package is 5LPA. Companies like Amazon, JPmorgan, Virtusa, Accenture, HCL, Valeo, TCS and other major companies hire many students here. I heard more than 90% students were placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am Pursuing BE CSE with specialization in Cybersecurity. I have written SAEEE and got my seat My fee structure is 3,50,000 per year with 25,000 as admission fees in your first year. My batchmates pay 3,75,000 per year.

Campus Life

3

Campus life is good. Yearly once, Culturals will happen around February and it will be a grand event. Library is accesible to everyone anytime but it usually doesn't have the book we're searching for and will have every other books. Sports and extra-curricular activities are not offered in the campus. Classrooms have immense techonological provisions. Student chapters are good but doesn't benefit anyone except them and the staff coordinators.

Hostel Facilities

2

Hostel facilities are old. 5 bed in a room with no place to anything other than that. No cupboards, study table, Wi-Fi and hygienic place. The restrooms are worse than you imagine. Mess food is free and non-veg is served for you 5/7 days. But the quality of the food is little concerning.

Admission

I heard the placement training here is excellent. The average package in Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology is 5 LPA which is better than many colleges. Writing SAEEE reduces your course fee upto 25K.

Faculty

2

Course structure - 2/5. No hands-on or practical knowledge gained. No proper syllabus. No proper course materials. Staff use materials taken from AI without doing any pre work for their students. Exam systems - 4/5. No hands-on, scenario based exams were conducted. Faculty members - 2/5. The know less than what we know. Marking schemes - 4/5. Teachers expect us to write the same thing they give.

Night Life

3

You are not allowed to roam in the nighttimes. Your hostels will be locked and you can't go anywhere in the night. Hostel is bad and poor. Safety is 100/100 but zero freedom. Can improve by providing freedom at the same time fixing CCTV so that safety is not out of concern.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
