Course Curriculum Overview

curriculam is upto the mark , it is being updated for every 4 years which keeps the syllabus new and helps studs learn wht is necessary , hence,, it is good .

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 375000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

fee per year is 3,75,000 INR , same fee doesnt appy now, this was during 2023. they'll generally collect it by the end of april. top 12 students from each dept get scholarships.

Campus Life

there are nearly 200 active clubs in sathyabama institute of science and technology , and many student chapters as well. these are an excellent start for creating ur network , senior contact .

Admission

I did apply to a lot of colleges, but the reason I chose SIST was considering its placements. I got AI major in 2 colleges, of which I chose this. there is an entrsnce exam we shud write to get into this college.

Faculty

not entirely sure abt the faculty to student ratio , but it might be around its around 17 faculties for 20 student(s)... in my opinion they can improve the teaching

Night Life

there are gyms and cafeteria(s) but , they all are closed after curfew, the night life is not as great as other colleges , according to my hostler frnds . but I personally am not aware of it.

College facilities and faculty is good .

Placement Experience:

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

The network connectivity in girls hostel is poor
The food at mess is average sometimes it is not taste
The practical labs are help at distance.

Placement Experience:

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

Knowledge and skills college private students with foundation in the achieves and feel helping them develop skills and knowledge

Dislikes

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students
College provide only theoretical knowledge students for practical skills

In our college there any company are coming mostly plastic company where coming plastic company like Reliance ,fanuc, jsw, ather, caterpillar ecetera where coming they provide placements and packages above 3 lakh our placement office velladurai sir is a very kindful for he makes a company dealings

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

It's like Schools .There will be special class if you didn't get much marks like schools .

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

This is the best college overall

I chose this college over others because it has a level of strictness which is good. If a college is not strict, then students will not feel the pressure to work hard. I didnot apply for any other college as this college was my first preference and as soon as I got here, I felt very happy. The admission process is quite easy. especially for my specialization students, they are providing air conditioned classrooms and a personal computer for each student. SIST history

The registration form is 500 rs and you can apply through online or directly at the admin office. Compared to other colleges the fees is less and we get free food and the transportation. The course syllabus is also upgraded and it is good for the new batches....Read More
