Remarks

This college is all about bookish knowledge and getting high percentage with sacrifice of practical knowledge and extra curricular activities and fun activities which every student dreams of. If you get on the faculty's bad side then forget about your internal marks ,they will be poor.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very tough with 8 semesters and each semesters having around 6 subjects and practicals. There were 3 exams held every semester, one being the final exam (university exam) and other two as internal exams.

Placement Experience

This college offers lots of job opportunity to the students but their placement strategies are really bad, like removing the name of placed students from further drive with better packages. They don't provide internship.

College Events

1.5

Very less or no events are held at college level. Some events held are listed as : Farewell ceremony, Inter college sports tournament( To participate in this you have to leave your lecture and get permission from Teachers too, which they won't allow), and dj night (which gets over at 7pm, lol).

Fee Structure And Facilities

I think it's feasible at some levels according to today's expensive market and comparing to other Institutes. The fee structure for B.Tech is around 1.3 lakhs per year almost for every branch aside from other programs offered.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are no scholarship offered by the college itself but I heard various students applying for scholarships from the state government in which they belong, applying via online websites (for underprivileged students).

Campus Life

3.5

You will forget about extra curricular activities or sports on this college, as there are very minimal or no opportunity provided to you by the college. You have to search on your own for competitions and then talk to faculties and convince them very hard for the competition to be held in this college.

Alumni/Alumna

There is an online portal which is provided by the college to passed out students through which they can connect and also post job offers from the company for which they are working to help each other and also junior students.

Admission

I got Direct Admission with JEE marks and then attended further interview round to decide the branch and seat allocation according to my JEE score. Then they called me when the seat became available for my choice.

Faculty

There were lots of faculty with good knowledge and understanding of their respective subjects. The only thing that I didn't like was that they provided more bookish knowledge than practical knowledge and also no guidance in your life.

Hostel Facilities and Accommodation Experience at SRMU University

Likes

Supportive and knowledgeable faculty. Faculty Quality and Placement Opportunities at SRMU University
Spacious campus and decent infrastructure.
Supportive and knowledgeable Good academic environment and learning opportunities.

Dislikes

Placement opportunities could be improved.
Hostel facilities and maintenance need improvement.
More practical learning and industry exposure are needed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculum 4 out of 5. It is relevant and covers the essential concepts of the subject, providing a good theoretical foundation. However, more practical learning, industry exposure, and updated course content would make it more comprehensive and career-oriented.

The beauty of BHU

Likes

The things I liked about the college are the faculty and the professors. They are very cooperative and helpful.
The campus life is quite beautiful here, campus is very close to nature and you can get fresh air. Also the infrastructure is on the top they have all the facilities which are required.
There is an active placement cell in the campus which usually provide in campus placement to students according to their concerned departments.

Dislikes

Some of the things which i think should need to be improved are the classrooms and canteens.
Also I think there is need of improvement in placement cells fir humanities students.
For library I would also say there needs an improvement because they have less capacity in comparison with number of students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is very relevant. I took admission in pg diploma in guidance and counselling which is a one year diploma course. I was inspired to do this course specially because it can provide you placement for sure. After this you can apply as a counsellor in any academic setting or NGOs.The teaching method of professors is quite good. They almost cover the entire syllabus before exams

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam
