Likes

I liked the lush green campus, it was over 45Acres
I liked the world class labs for every department
I liked the college canteen, it had many restaurants

Dislikes

I didn't like the ground which was constantly rented out to KSCA matches
Not much of athletic college, sports were secondary
All sports were restricted to engineering students

Course Curriculum Overview

I took this course because it's my family business and I want to come into this. There were around 400 students in our batch and we were thought to survive in professional world. My studies on CAD design is helping me now

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I had interned with a company called as Lnt they are developers and I worked there for 2 months and i personally found this. Our college provides internship in their company divyashree and there other opportunities as well

Placement Experience

The placements in my college were really good. Around 80 percent of the students actually got placed in companies varying from ed tech sales to IT and in construction companies. Major companies were coming for sales role

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 1,10,000RS per year. The fees for tuition, labs, exams, and library. We didn't have to pay anything extra for academic stuffs but the transportation fees were additional 22,000 per year for my location

Campus Life

Campus life was really good, being in a green campus feels very alive .We had many clubs who used to arrange events, there used to be film promotion and we used to have festival every year. There are many great restaurants also.

Admission

This is the college i was alloted after my entrance exam rankings and this was the university and I know the teaching will be more practical than theoretical. I didn't want to be in VTU college it was very theory based

Faculty

There were minimum of 3 faculty available for a subject and we were assigned the teachers based of Section. All the faculty were qualified and very young and friendly and majorly into practical teaching

Night Life

There is no much nightlife in campus, hostel students were monitored post 9pm and local students used leave campus by 8pm and surrounding the college there were no clubs or discos. There were some Resto bars. Baahubali and Rollme were famous snack points. Bun- puff was famous

A great place for learning and career growth

Placement Experience:

Excellent placement training and reputed companies visit the campus. I had received offers from three companies which reflects the quality of opportunities available. Placement is one of the college's biggest strength. Student with no backlog and good academic records will get easily placed.

My life at CMR - University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects like: we had 2 internal exams in the semester and after completing these internal exams roughly at the 5th month we had practical exam + end semester exams, these exams would be mainly theory based inclusing some conceptual based questions & based on our understanding only, we can able to write the answers. One thing, I would suggest was we shall give more weightage to the practical based learning, that too during our days we were just the beginning of AI & Iot era was effectively going on, if we had some advanced eductaion covering these aspects we would have got the opportunity to shine more in our carrers. As a student, we faced slight diffuclities and challenges matching the real-life happenings with the acdemics, that would be one of the shortcoming I can say.

My campus life so far

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the curriculum is well planned, balanced and easy to follow. We start with the basics and along with theory there's a good amount of coding practice, assignments, and hands on learning. I like that the course isn't just about passing exams, it also focuses on building skills that will be useful later for internships and placements. So far it feels relevant, practical and not overwhelming for someone who's just starting out.

I would rate 5 out of 5. I specially enjoyed being involved in activities like ego and Rns, which made my college life more engaging. College provides good atmosphere, and I got good friendship in the college.

One of the best colleges or universities for B Tech and pocket friendly

Placement Experience:

The College was there for more than 10 years , but there was only Post graduate courses available , like M-tech , Msc , etc. The College for B-tech has started just before 2 years , there are no batches which has been output till now. The students are also waiting to see the batches to get output and see the placements taking place. As a student I am also eager about the campus placements.

I applied to MS Ramaiha, Jain College, NITTE in Mangalore for food technology, biotechnology and biomedical science respectively. I received confirmation from all but chose REVA due to its affordable fee, transport facilities and good reviews from people.
