Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is quite comprehensive. It bridges the gap between theory and practice through the projects. We have interdisciplinary project in this sem and it helped us learn more. The difficulty level is moderate and depends on the particular person

Internships Opportunities

Internships aim to enhance technical fluency, soft skills, and professional identity. For instance, mechanical students participate in talks focusing on leveraging platforms like LinkedIn for professional growth.

Placement Experience

They provide induction programs in the beginning of the sems. Also have placement training session in which we'll learn about communication skills, how interview is conducted, skills we need to develop,build confidence. We have summer internships from our college from July. Companies that come here are Tata, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Cognizant and many more startups.

Fees and Financial Aid

I’ve had a good experience at RNS Institute of Technology so far. The campus is clean and well maintained.They conducted hackathons for first year students which was encouraging. We even had open house projects. Apart from studies, they hosted concerts, fests, dj night. We get exposure in multiple areas.

Campus Life

The campus life is good. But we expect more fests so that we can enjoy along with studies. Flash mobs will be there. Ethnic day, concerts, Dj night are conducted. Overall campus life is good but not awesome.

Admission

I joined through kcet and applied many other colleges. For my kcet rank I got data science here. Although I didn't expect to be here it's not a bad experience or something I'll regret. People joined from comedk also.

Faculty

The faculties are supportive and have clear knowledge about the concepts. Both theoretical and practical knowledge is gained. We'll have 2 internals which gets reduced and a external. They explain concepts clearly in classes and labs.

Night Life

Our college has gym and all. The cafeteria will be open till 5. Whenever I go it's always packed with students. Now they are renovating our cafeteria. The library is very calm .Has good wifi, discussion rooms .

A great place for learning and career growth

Placement Experience:

Excellent placement training and reputed companies visit the campus. I had received offers from three companies which reflects the quality of opportunities available. Placement is one of the college's biggest strength. Student with no backlog and good academic records will get easily placed.

My life at CMR - University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects like: we had 2 internal exams in the semester and after completing these internal exams roughly at the 5th month we had practical exam + end semester exams, these exams would be mainly theory based inclusing some conceptual based questions & based on our understanding only, we can able to write the answers. One thing, I would suggest was we shall give more weightage to the practical based learning, that too during our days we were just the beginning of AI & Iot era was effectively going on, if we had some advanced eductaion covering these aspects we would have got the opportunity to shine more in our carrers. As a student, we faced slight diffuclities and challenges matching the real-life happenings with the acdemics, that would be one of the shortcoming I can say.

My campus life so far

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the curriculum is well planned, balanced and easy to follow. We start with the basics and along with theory there's a good amount of coding practice, assignments, and hands on learning. I like that the course isn't just about passing exams, it also focuses on building skills that will be useful later for internships and placements. So far it feels relevant, practical and not overwhelming for someone who's just starting out.

I would rate 5 out of 5. I specially enjoyed being involved in activities like ego and Rns, which made my college life more engaging. College provides good atmosphere, and I got good friendship in the college.

One of the best colleges or universities for B Tech and pocket friendly

Placement Experience:

The College was there for more than 10 years , but there was only Post graduate courses available , like M-tech , Msc , etc. The College for B-tech has started just before 2 years , there are no batches which has been output till now. The students are also waiting to see the batches to get output and see the placements taking place. As a student I am also eager about the campus placements.
