Remarks

I chose UEM Jaipur because it offers a good balance of academics, placements, infrastructure, and fees compared to many other private colleges. The admission process was simple and based on eligibility criteria and entrance exam scores such as JEE Main or qualifying examination marks. The overall admission experience was smooth, and I found the college to be a good choice for its industry-oriented curriculum and placement opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is relevant and covers core subjects along with emerging technologies, which was one of the reasons I chose this course. It provides a good theoretical foundation and practical exposure, helping students prepare for higher studies and industry roles. More industry projects and hands-on learning could further improve the curriculum. There are two internal exams and one end-semester exam each semester, and the difficulty level is moderate.

Internships Opportunities

5

The college offers internship opportunities through its Training and Placement Cell. Companies like Xebia, CoreLogic, HashedIn Technologies by Deloitte, and Cyntexa Labs Pvt. Ltd. recruit interns for roles such as Software Developer, Web Developer, QA Engineer, and Data Analyst. Stipends generally range from ₹10,000 to ₹30,000 per month, depending on the company. Students work on live projects involving web applications, software testing, automation, and data analysis, which helps them gain practical industry experience.

Placement Experience

5

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Companies such as Xebia, CoreLogic, Cyntexa Labs Pvt. Ltd., HashedIn Technologies by Deloitte, and InfoObject visit the campus for recruitment. Around 70–80% of eligible students get placed, with an average package of 4–5 LPA and higher packages offered to top performers. After completing my degree, I plan to work as a software engineer and continue improving my technical skills.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee is approximately ₹2,00,000 per year, including ₹1,00,000 as tuition fees and ₹1,00,000 as hostel and mess charges. The fees are paid semester-wise, with about ₹50,000 tuition fees and ₹50,000 hostel fees in each semester. Apart from this, there may be one-time charges such as admission, registration, and caution fees at the time of joining. The fee structure generally remains similar for the duration of the course, with only minor revisions if announced by the university. The university also offers merit-based scholarships to students based on their academic performance. Scholarship amounts vary depending on eligibility and university norms. Fee concessions may also be available for certain reserved categories as per university policies.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is enjoyable and provides a good balance between academics and extracurricular activities. Annual cultural and technical fests are organized every year, usually during the spring semester. The library has a good collection of books and journals, and classrooms are equipped with projectors and Wi-Fi. Students can participate in sports, technical clubs, cultural events, coding competitions, and social activities, which help in developing teamwork and leadership skills.

Faculty

5

The faculty members are knowledgeable, supportive, and approachable. The faculty-to-student ratio is good, allowing students to interact with teachers whenever needed. I found most professors helpful and experienced, especially during practical and project work. The course curriculum is relevant and covers both theoretical and practical concepts. Every semester includes two internal examinations, assignments, practicals, and one end-semester examination. The exams are of moderate difficulty, and students who attend classes regularly and study consistently usually pass without much difficulty.

Night Life

5

Campus life is calm at night, with the cafeteria, gym, and library operating during fixed hours and closing in the evening. Hostel and campus entry timings are strictly followed for students' safety. Students usually spend time in the cafeteria, common areas, or nearby cafés and restaurants to relax after classes. The surrounding locality is generally safe, and the campus has security arrangements for emergencies.

There are certain areas for improvement but they will keep get better. Obviously there is a campussing process that gives the students the opportunity to get their desired job. You can also go off campus to get bigger opportunity, but it will be on your head only that means it's a risk. But the average placement provided by the university is 6 lakhs and the highest one is 72 lakhs per annum.
