Course Curriculum Overview

5

Curriculum is very up to date and NIAT does not follow old syllabus which are of no use in real world now. The mentors teach in a way which is very practical oriented and they explain things in such easy way that stays in our mind for long. Understanding practical concepts are very much important for our career and here the teaching technique is something that I appreciate a lot

Internships Opportunities

5

There are several companies that provide internship opportunities. I did internship in Capserv for 6 months and my monthly stipend was 30,000. It was a great experience as I got to learn a lot during that time period. Seniors were very helpful and that experience will help me a lot later in life.

Placement Experience

5

NIAT mostly offers placement opportunities from 3rd year. But like other colleges it's not like we can sit for placements just in our 3rd and 4th year. We can sit and get experience starting from our 1st year itself. Also more than 200 students got internships. Even I cracked an internship during my 1st year which was unbelievable for me because internship in 1st year is not an everyday occurance.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am currently a student of NIAT 3rd year and pursuing Btech CSE. My total fees per year is 4,00,000. Which includes my hostel fees and food as well. There's also an option for scholarship opportunities based on how much we score on NAT exam which is the entrance test for NIAT.

Campus Life

5

There are several buildathons and hackathons conducted which helps us to focus more on coding and practicals. These events boosts our confidence and builds a competition mindset in every one of us. This in turn helps us to work hard and improve our skills. But there are hardly any extracurricular activities or fests. There are several student run tech clubs which helps a lot in gaining experience and real world exposure. Here every mentors motivates us to create new projects and build a strong background even before we enter the world outside college gate.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel is very clean, luxurious and spacious. I stay in a double sharing room and we have separate bed and wardrobe for each one of us. The rooms and washrooms are cleaned daily. The food is also hygienic enough but the taste could be a bit better. The quality is good and maintained but the taste is a bit pale that can improve.

Admission

I applied to few other colleges but I choose NIAT because I believe no other colleges where I applied focuses this much on practicals and coding. Also I really liked the admission process. NIAT doesn't differentiate people based on their ranks in competitive exams. Whereas NIAT conducts their own entrance exam which in a way enables students to get access to a wide range of learning. I had to fill a form and then my slot for NAT was shared by the people of NIAT. They are very patient and helpful and guided me step by step as in how to enroll myself.

Faculty

5

The faculty members are very helpful. They always guides us in projects and every other aspects. They help each one of us to work on real world projects and motivate us to complete them even if we fail initially. The course curriculum is very relevant to real world and industry standards.

Night Life

5

The campus is good but not that huge. Though the classrooms are quite spacious and has all the latest technologies and equipments. All classes have smart boards and wifi connection. The library is big enough to fit an entire class at once. The books in Library are very helpful for our academics. The hostels are also luxurious and clean. I stay in a double sharing room and it has a lot of space . We have separate bed and wardrobe for each one of us. The cafeteria is also big but the food variety should be more. But cafeteria is our peak hangout spot. The locality is safe enough. The girls in our campus can move around freely because security is tight. After 7pm we can't stay outside and this rule is required for our own safety.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is updated regularly with topics that match current technology trends. We get enough time to complete assignments and improve our understanding. Internal assessments and presentations also help in overall learning. I feel more elective subjects can be added to give students wider career options.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is one of the best parts of studying at NIAT. The subjects are designed according to what companies are looking for today, so we get to learn the latest technologies and ai tools. Classes are not limited to just lectures. Wr start using laptop from the first sem itself and most of our learning happens through coding, practical sessions, and real projects. This hands on approach makes learning more interesting and helps us understand concepts much better than just studying from books
