Remarks

Positive remark about our college is that when we are passed out we will get many job oppertunities because the value of our colleges certificate is high compared to other Collages. Their is no negative remark about our college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am a bcom student. Their are total 6 semesters. For 1 semester their are 3 exams. One is first periodical, then second periodical, then end semester exam. Then the remaining marks for the sem exam is for our practicals and viva.

Placement Experience

After completing UG according to our marks the placements are done. 8.0 and above marks scored students have more placements provided. Yes, our college provide internship. Their is internship programme in our college and they provide stipend.

College Events

Mostly all of the events are celebrated in our college. Mainly our chancilors Birthday. Mata Amrithanadamayi Devi. All type of festivals are celebrated in our college like diwali, muhram, onam, christmas etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is so expensive. Fod merit students it is 45,500RS and for management seat students it is 65,500 RS for 1 semster. The fess is too high compared to other colleges. They will not reduce the fees rate.

Fees and Financial Aid

No loan facility is offers by our college. We have to pay the fees on time otherwise we will not be permitted to attend the class and how much time we take to pay the fess that much attendence will be reduced. So we will not be able to write the exams.

Campus Life

The labs in our college is very good. By the way iam a bcom student so we have only It lab sessions. The It lab is good in condition and it is advanced. Sports are a main part of our college. If we win a sports item then they will give prices to us and will be selected for another matches.

Hostel Facilities

Iam a day scholar, but for one time I opted hotel because of flood. Hotel facility is good, but the hostel fees is 75000 RS for 1 year and they don't provide any non veg food items. Its the only think that I felt bad about hostel.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Most of our seniors are very helpful and friendly to us. Their is no ragging in our college. Ragging is strictly prohibited in our college and their will not rag us. Seniors are our inspiration and motivation.

Admission

I got it in merit. The process was simple first I gave an application for admission. Then they selected me in their list and contacted me to attend their interview. Then I was selected in the interview. Only 80%marks and above students are allotted.

The faculties of our college are very friendly and supportive. They motivate us more than our parents. They also helps as for paper publication etc. We have a class advisor and a class councilor. They are the in charge of our class.

the college also organizes technical events, workshops, seminar, cultural, festivals and placement training programs with helps students enhance their practical knowledge
the campus has a diverse student community with a healthy and inclusive atmosphere.
the aspects I liked the most were support faculty, disciplined campus environment.

placement opportunities may be stronger for certain branches and others

I applied for vit, snu, cuet examination. I couldnt get vit because of high rank, in cuet exam i got seat at pondicherry university. but still chose amrita for its reputation, infrastructure, and curriculum. first you should attend an entrance examination called AEEE escpecially for amrita vishwa vidhyapeetham, which has 2 phases. after both phases you get placed in a ranking system. for each range of ranks each department holds a rank exceptancy of the entrance participants. other than AEEE you can also get throw using JEE marks...Read More

A decent university

I applied to many colleges like Thapar College, Manipal College, VIT, and LPU and others. I got selected from many colleges, but I chose this college because of its ranking as it ranked 4th best university and 1st in the best private university. This was the only reason for the selection. Now it is also the 7th best university in india and 2nd in private universities. I only got rejected from the Manipal College of Engineering, and they didn't mention the reason for the rejection, but I assume the entrance exam was not so good for me. I rejected other colleges because I find Amrita University better than others. There are many ways to get admission, like from JEE mains or advanced and Amrita's own exam, AEEE.
