Remarks

The food in mess at KBH is really not good at all, they don't even wash the plates properly , in lunch we get rice only everyday. Even hostel sometimes don't have water. So this is not expected from such a national institute.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is really good , in 1st year we have all the basic subjects which will help us to understand course of class 12. There are other clubs too which we can join to brace up ourselves.

Placement Experience

3

The placements are quite good here, good companies do visit the college even when it is a remote location, some of them even give good packages to the students of Nit-h. Since I am a first year student I don't know much about internship.

College Events

5

Firstly we have a lot of clubs, around 15, I guess. Some of them are technical and some are non technical. As far as events are concerned we have aagman for fresher's, then hill fare and the most important NIMBUS.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For a student like me it is really expensive. It makes me feel more expensive even because of quality of food and infrastructure of our hostel is just not good at all, academic wise the fees is acceptable.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is an SBI Bank inside the campus so taking student loan is not a big problem here , and even the student scheme is quite good. There is scholarship for students whose annual income is less than 1 lakh and also for different whose annual family income is less than 5 lakh.

Campus Life

4.5

extracurricular activities, labs, sports, etc. Is not a problem here at all , we are equipped with all the labs and sports facilities here. We also have. NCC and NSS here , but being a 1st year student we do not have that much exposure to these.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior , yes they are very helpful, they help us alot , we all have allotted a roll director who helps us with all the matters like which books to prefer and which things we should buy etc, talking about alumni I don't know much about them.

Admission

Firstly you have to clear JEE mains entrance exam , then apply for JOSAA councelling , through preferences you will get this college. Then you have to report at the college and do all the formalities.

Faculty

2.5

Most of the faculty are phd holders from iits , that does means that they have a lot of knowledge which we can take. But the way they teach is okay. Moreover we have to study on our own which matters the most.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at my college are average. A few reputed companies visit the campus each year, but the number of offers and salary packages varies depending on the branch and market conditions. Students who have strong academic performance, technical skills, internships, and good communication skills generally have better chances of getting placed.
