When comparing to other colleges in pondicherry, my college doing the best part of their job in keeping exams, they conduct weekly test, internal, model exam and so on. practical exams also took place in my college.
I took the civil Engineering department. It was very good when comparing to other department in my college. In my department they undergone many constructive researches such as glass door building etc.

I took admission in HITK via WBJEE. My rank matched their admission criteria , so after reviewing thoroughly, I took admission. Yes, there was a counselling process held . My thirst to gain knowledge regarding computer science (specially programming and software) made me choose CSE. Another reason being that this course will yield a good career opportunity.
Our faculty is qualified and experienced enough to teach us well. They interact with us quite often and make us feel comfortable to ask as many questions as we want regarding our course topics. The best part is that they are never tired of explaining the same topic repeatedly if needed.

7600₹ at time of admissions STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES Fee is very much feasible (For my program (b.sc) it was like Rs.7600/year). So fees is probably good for what is being offered here.
Ya the faculty is too good but they aren't teaching with there whole n sole . They just want to complete the topic. They don't teach the topic fully they just give the touch up n then in the exams students be like confused
Ya According to me the college was not concerned about the practicals they as usual, teaching is also slow n not to good . The curriculum is not well set . The exams are starting too late .
I gave JEE Mains paper 2 for admission in this college. there was no interview but a counseling was held. I was advised by an architect and did some research on it. So this is the reason I'm doing this course.

The curriculum was outdated. We were not being introduced to the latest trends in technology. We were at least I guess 10 years or more behind in terms of what we were taught. The labs were a joke. They haven't been updated in a long time and the student to equipment ratio was not good. 7 to 8 students has to work on a single piece of equipment. There wasn't exactly a lot of research being done at least by the students. I have no idea about the professors. Even if we were interested in research, there was a lack of equipment. For my own research, all I needed were a solar panel and power electronic converter which were not available or accessible to me. So I ended up with having just simulation results. And I had to attend the conference using my own money to pay the conference fee and travel costs. The university should pay so that the students feel encouraged to pursue research.
Apart from 3 or 4 professors, at least in my department, the rest were complete crap. They had no idea what they were doing. Sometimes, they just used to recite stuff straight from the text book instead of teaching us. I never felt that they had any interest in the students. They weren't very cooperative with the students. My head of the department refused to give a recommendation letter to my friend because apparently he had an accident which hurt his leg a few months ago. I am not even sure why or how that's even a reason. The standard of the teaching was very much below par if you ask me. In addition to all this, some of the professors were really egoistic. Right now, I am doing my masters abroad and the difference in the quality of teaching and the standard of professors between here and my bachelor's in India is like night and day.

The mechanical branch is the best one and about practical learning is good at some level and the lab where the practicals are being conducted are satisfactory but the machines are maintained regularly and the environment is kept neat and clean there are various events are conducted like cricket matches between colleges and Kshitij and other activities are being conducted regularly the campus is just fabulous the bus facility is not as good as per requirement
The college is good and there must be getting attention for the placements and the other all the things are just fabulous the staff the campus the environment and the lab's I got just unforgettable experience with this college

Civil engineering is very good and interesting course . There are many opportunities for job in government as well as in private sector. Currently I'm doing a government job as a civil engineer. All practicals and lecture were regularly conducted . Research initiatives like Our project is about to make green and economic concrete. We used marble waste and fly ash with appropriate proportion . We replace fly ash and marble powder with cement and sand to make effective and more durable concrete . Marble waste is very hazardous to our environment . Because of marble powder soil become infertile. Soil loss his fertility . So that we use that in needed proportion.
In sinhgad academy of engineering our faculties are highly educated and having full experience about teaching and more .knowledge about respective subject which was they teaching us. They all are friendly with us . They had very good nature. They are very strict. Very disciplined. The faculties here are good. They are having good practical knowledge, but sometimes lacks at the required confidence for teaching. They aren't much experienced at teaching. But they surely tries there best ever possible knowledge to the students.

There is good opportunity to the students to get placed as right now studying. In second Year. I am not very much familiar to the placement cells. With it but still can say Good placement options Are suggested. To students. The percentage students placed are 50% Approx. The package given is around 3 LPA.
This course is really a good learning course. This course needs to be lot more focused on the practicals do enough aim is on the practical sessions. Every time college students participates in awiskar competition which are held every year and are related to the technical & research thing.

It is a BBA and has more focus on practical experience rather than theoretical knowledge. Our college promotes people who have an entrepreneurial mindset and organizes various workshops and seminars to encourage their startup. In the third year the college gives its students an option to choose between the two specialization subjects - Finance and Marketing.

the faculty was very experienced and they were very interactive with the students so that every student can interact with the faculty and they will give the students support to improve their knowledge and to make them eligible for the placements and the interviews that are conducted in the college. the standard of their teaching will be depending on the students as their main motive is to make the students learn and understand the things.
we can get the seat in this college by writing the emcet exam that was commonly conducted in the state for getting the seat in engineering colleges, and later the college was allotted to students depending upon the rank in eamcet in the counseling . depending on the rank the college and the branch was allotted to a student. There is no separate exam for the entrance into this college.

Placement of the college is better about 70 to 80 percent students are placed in every year with getting the max package around 5.5 lakh per annum and 2.25 as average various recruiters are TLC, KSB Amazon, and much more.
In this college, all practical are conduct regularly in all branches. For last year (final year) student is compulsory to do the project on any of topic. In this college, many seminars are arranged.

It was really gud ...80% is focused on practical learning...v hav elective option for 2nd and 3rd years...like public policy etc. The subjects in my course is bit difficult , a lot projects are given us every day ..its making us a lot stressed . Leaving these projects my course is peaceful .
Ya....it was a very good experience and i learnt a lot of things . Internships has helped me to improve my soft skilss abilities and my communication skills. Most of the internships are free of cost and only some internships are charged with a negligible amount .

No internships provided as such to the SE students yet. Seniors say they are provided with internships. I am not aware about the internship and its details at this stage. But as per the seniors express, their experience has been a good one and they too encourage us to at least once experience it our-self to know the needs of industries these days.
Overall the college is student-friendly and very supportive . The environment too is comfortable and homely. Extra-curricular activities and events are given importance too along with academics. Sports and games are also given an equal importance and the college never fails to provide an opportunity for the deserving ones.

B.com is very faulty in this campus because college is commerce in this college you get many things about commerce you can learn many things from practical life and the main thing is there are many things which we learn from real life.
Very cheap fee and it affordable for all students those who are rich or medium or poor class people and those who are not able to pay the full fee at a time they can pay their fee in some installment.
