Our college is frequently visited by IT, Computer and Electronic companies and they select many students yearly. More than 50 students were placed this year already.

Overall good college.Over the years the buildings in the campus the strength of the student all have increased due to better education quality in and around the city.

I took admission in SKFGI institute for under graduate students who want to take admission .I secured 79% .EE branch is most famous branch of this college.I opted for this college because in Hooghly this is most renowned college for computer science in respect of labs teaching and placements.

Each month there are many workshops organised through which you can learn a lot . Almost each sport is present here except swimming as there is no swimming pool. Gender ratio is better than other colleges .

The faculty is good enough here ! As per my experience here , they try their very best to teach you what they can. Many teachers here are Btech. qualified and some seem like they just completed their college a year ago my EE teacher is really a pain to face you will find a variety of teachers here .

I have done WBJEE exams since its a PG degree. But, the admin people was conducted face to face interview to select the student. The reason behind i joined is, this college is giving the life training than the education. There was a full day activity in this college and its a compulsory hostel. So, you need to be available in the campus for the whole day.

Their are separate cultural taken up by respective department so that students came participate and improve their personal and social skills. So I don't think I should specific everything about it. In total its the best as all other top college in city participate

There is a separate library for department and library has ample number of books. There’s also something called as e-library and it can be accessed through the college intranet. There’s Wi-Fi connectivity all over the campus, but when everyone is simultaneously online, the net speed is terribly reduced due to bandwidth sharing.

The infrastructure of the institute includes well-equipped classrooms with projectors, air conditioner and WiFi. Well-designed classrooms so that each student is taken care of. The institute also has a well-equipped library with books ranging from management, fiction, biographies and science.

The university organizes alumni meet every year where the existing students get a chance to meet the ex students and gain some industry knowledge. The crowd belongs to the elite class, obviously as they only would be able to bear the fees of this college. There are a few spoilt brats trying to bully others but in general the crowd is decent and friendly.

The courses run by the Department use mixed techniques of interactive lectures, tutorials, laboratory work, guided case studies, literature surveys and project work that require team work, critical and creative thinking.Faculty of my college is very good, supportive, and talented. They suggested the way of doing work.

Basically teacher provides all important details, notes, previous year question paper and teach all those topics in the course. Rather than these things some of books refer by the teacher helps us to score good in the exam.High Quality Education, work Ethics, Discipline, Exposure to Modern World, Cultural and Moral Values, Low Fee Structure, Scholarships, Internship, High Placement Rate.

Step 1 ) Offline Application form (Now its Online ) Step 2) written Test, selection is based on your entrance examination result Step 3) Personal Interview. Score are not displayed, only Shortlisted candidates are called for Interview. I choose the college because of its dedication to Quality Education, Discipline.

College management is quite good teachers are very much helpful they assist us in every single step and guide us for all possible reasons.Alumni are very nice they help there juniors in all possible way there are very good network of friendship between juniors and seniors they all share a good bond among them.

I passed my entrance examination WBJEE is needed to be in this institute and got selected for this college students having an average performance can get a great opportunity here.the admission procedure is transparent and very easy because it is totally depended up on your entrance examination result.

I gave WBJEE exam to get admission to the college by the reference and I have heard a lot about this college and about the placement.basically the admission procedure is based on your entrance examination result. It's the best college for doing b.tech .it has got best infrastructure in Hooghly.

It has some of the most talented and dedicated thought leaders in the country who come from the best institutions around the world. Not only are they academically and professionally among the best, but have high standards of moral and ethical values, so that they can be true role models.

The seniors are very helpful also the college conducts various sessions with the alumni so that every one can share their problems they are facing. The college infrastructure is very good and time to time various activities are conducted. The faculty are very good the concept taught are in right direction

The sports facilities, labs are well facilitated. The various technical labs are also there which provides overall development of a student studying there. The library is full of various books of knowledge and contains various useful resources and audio visual resources.

The gender ratio is too good to believe. The campus life is quite fun and full of exisiting experiences. There is a yearly sports event that is like a mini olympics of Supreme Knowledge Foundation Group Of institution. It is really competetive and fun to be a part of.very enjoyable campus life.

The curriculum is rigid and you would not have much option to opt from the available subjects. You have the minimum requirement of atleast 8-10 students to opt for any subject. The problem for opting subject electives is that the department does not possess enough faculty to support the course.

Gender ratio seems to be healthy around the campus but yes we lack good looking girls. Most of the students are from South. The campus offers a boast of extra-curricular activities like all kind of sports and other activities like photography, foreign language, traveling, etc through club activities.

Placements are very good. The complete placement process is campus driven. So there is a guarantee in full placement. Though near to 100 % placement is achieved almost every year, external factors can affect this. Faculties are indifferent towards placements. The average package is around 6 lpa.

I gave WBJEE entrance test to pursue this course . This is one of the best schools in India in terms of ROI and campus infrastructure. There are quotas for sc, st and obc students. A general category student requires around 70 percentile to get into SKFGI. The admission process consists of group discussion and interview.

On an average over 50+ companies visit the campus every Year. Students get a lot of chances to get a job. Companies like Repro India,Telecom network solutions and many more hire in thousands and almost many students get placed in various companies each year. The highest offer is over 9.5 lakhs in a Japanese firm.

Campus life in SKFGI is awesome, students come from almost all parts of the country. Gender ratio is also good, number of female students is increasing year by year. There are also many extra curricular and co-curricular clubs, in which students can join and contribute to the ongoing projects or start a new project.

Companies like Webspider visit campus for placements if they have vacancies and the package they offer is also pretty good(8.6 LPA approx). Other companies like Repro India also open for placements.Anyhow, placements and job opportunities in core profile are less compared to other profiles.

Also rock show, group Dj and some celebrity are also called to entertain you where you can dance and enjoy this fest. 4.Departmental fests.- each engineering department celebrate its own fest where participants from college and other colleges is there it is combination of technical sport and culture.

The course curriculum is quite interesting there you study about advance mathematics, physics, chemistry, engineering drawing, some of mechanical engineering, concept of Control, workshop of carpenter, CNC, smelting, welding, mould, leth and electronics in 1st year. Electrical motors, control system, power engineering, circuit theory, machine design, power electronics, power plant engineering, basic electronic, basic mechanical engineering, C++, operating system, workshop of machines, control system, power system, grid analysis circuit theory and some optional subject will tought in very cool and effective way and all required structure and equipment are available and best teacher u will get.

Campus life i think the best in India is here biggest campus of all in all CIET. Very diverse all students are from different part of the country you and even foreign students are their. Well facility of labs with all equipment, good sports culture, healthy competition atmosphere, and technical facility are available here.

We are in b.tech here so our project itself is a type of internship and good quality level. As CIET paid us the sufficient amount of stipend. All reputed companies like being airbus, Honeywell general electric general motors and analytics companies came here for placement and took good amount of students from here.

Campus life was amazing. The campus is sprawling area with lots of trees, gardens and play grounds. All students commute through cycles or walking making it a real green campus. There is no in-time in the hostels and the students are free to roam the campus all night long. There are few food joints which are open all night and a lot of students hang out in the night playing music, games and enjoying campus life to the fullest.

As there are several companies which are open for all streams and take an aptitude test and then several rounds for recruitment. Many of my batch mates set for such companies and got recruited in other industries like KPOs etc. Various companies offer various packages ranging from 3 lakhs per annum to 8 lakhs per annum during my time.

Placements in my batch were great and around 70% of the students were placed during campus placements. The market can be real tough for such courses and many people start their own practice. The few real estate companies that came to the campus were east brook holdings, HCP Ahmadabad, IL&FS, etc.

The college has a very strong alumni base which helps in the long term. Placements are good and there is great opportunity for the higher education. I was worried taking admission here but now i can say that my choice was good and lucky to study from CIET.

There is no discrimination even by the staff. The best thing is that there are no politics in the campus. Every student steps out from the college with good industry knowledge, If any student is found to be misbehaved or reason for any dispute he /she will be suspended for a few days which is obviously a bad remark in their conduct certificate.

This is the greatest campus for getting job after completing your course. Job opportunities is great. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Facebook etc came here. The highest package, offered to a student stands at around 6 lakhs from Google.
