I chose CBS because I found it best platform for my career. It is a well-known university. I was selected in CBS entrance interview and I took admission. I gave some aptitude and Personal interview to take admission in this college. The interview is also easy they ask about many questions related to my previous qualification and why do you want to join in our university. That's it they will ask in interview

Our college is providing good placements in those couple of years. Companies like ICICI bank, HDFC Bank, HSBC, IDBI, Kotak Mahindra, Axis Bank, TCS, HCL, IBM etc are coming to take the students who have got that potential. almost 80% of our college students get placed through our college. The minimum package offer was 20000 per month as a fresher.

The exam consists of 2 minors and 1 major exam.the 2 minors are of 20 marks and major is of 50 marks. Rest 10 marks are from a quiz. The theory component comprises 80% and 20% is the practical component. Exams are conducted in very poor way making them hectic, boring and tiring exam structure is to be changed

I heard very good reviews about college and very good placement opportunities that why I choose this college. The admission process is simple. Shortlisted students will get a letter or call and they will get a date when to come for admissions. After submission of documents and initial fee, your admission will be confirmed. Interviews depend on for which company student is giving an interview.

UG Fresher's party, Navratri festivals, Intercollege singing competitions all these events conducted recently. Every year all students celebrate Teacher's Day.Interclass Football matches and Interclass volleyball competitions were one of the very exciting events. Guest lectures are also conducted by every department.

Spacious classrooms, well equipped with LCD Projectors, whiteboards, wifi enabled and PA systems make the classroom learning an engaging and unique experience for all.Transport facility is also available from our college campus.DBS has a well-stocked library with the benefits of both the students and teachers.

This college has nothing to boast about its infrastructure. Academic blocks and computer labs are also of mediocre quality. The institute has state of the art physics, chemistry, electronics and communication, electrical technology labs and mechanical workshops to facilitate the acquisition of knowledge. The laboratories have been planned with absolute care to ensure safety while working. All the required machines and equipment in the labs/mechanical workshops are as per prescribed norms and standards

It provides round the clock medical facilities to the students and staff and also to attend to unforeseen medical emergencies, CBS possesses a full-fledged medical dispensary in its campus under the supervision of well qualified and experienced doctors as well as nurses. To deal with emergency cases, college transport is available round the clock to carry the patients for treatment at surrounding hospitals.

Admission in Undergraduate courses is on the basis of merit of class Xll marks and personal interview.To apply for any course, Students have to fill up the online application form and pay Rs 1000 online.After registration students can appear for the online interview in various locations.

Our college campus is located amidst beautiful valleys and hills.Studying in DBS, ensures us that we are provided with state- of-the- art infrastructure facilities amidst natural surroundings.No air and noise pollution.Surroundings are greenery.And we are free from the traffic chaos.

There is 2 internals and 1 externals in a whole semester of six months and Practical are also held after both internals and externals. It was conducted once a semester. We had 2 semesters a year. We had few sessions for each subject so 1 session absent, reduces 1 mark and if we are done with 4, we might fail. It was ridiculous as we had 2 subjects the same day.

Our college faculty is superb.Our teacher's treat us like a nursery student.They always ready to teach us in an extra class.If you are having any kind of an issue whether it is related to study or any other issue we can discuss them. One of teacher teaches me anything like a nursery student from step by step in extra class.

Recently, our college organises North India Young Entrepreneur Contest, Intercollege singing competition, Navratri festival etc.We had a lot of fun in UG fresher's party.In the Intercollege Football Tournament, our college stood first.Competition was very close, however, boys from our college played really well and win the cup

B.Sc Agriculture is a 4-year full-time undergraduate programme. The syllabus is very exhaustive in tune with the Industrial as well as governmental jobs requirements.Agro -Industry Sectors like food processing, grain and seed processing,dairy processing ,feed manufacturing all are included in the syllabus.

In short, An air-conditioned library has been developed to provide information support to teachers, students, and non-teaching staff. The library is equipped with more than 10000 books from different streams. Besides these text and reference books, the Library is also subscribing to a large number of national and international journals, magazines and Encyclopedia. The library remains open for 12 hours daily, throughout the year. It has a large reading AC hall with the conducive reading environment. Well-trained librarians assist the students in gathering information by promptly responding to their requirements.

The college provides services for various sports, cultural, academic and Extra Curricular Activities, so as to help the students to develop a balanced personality. The Students are encouraged to participate in Academic activities by the faculties so that they can improve their subject knowledge. They also, organize guest lectures by the distinguished faculty from premier institutes from time to time covering technical as well as general contents.

Our college has a very helpful and cooperative during the placement as well as with the training. All big companies come for placement in our college and provide decent packages. Almost 80% of students get placed in the placement drive.

Fee structure of the college is not too high, as it is around 30 to 40 thousand per annum and this fee includes the charges like tuition fee, laboratory fee, examination fee, library fee, so for the complete course it is around 2 lac.

It organizes different events such as Mock Interviews, Essay competition, Quizzes, Seminars, Debates, Communicative English, Stress Management, Time Management etc. The Institute also invites some eminent personalities from the respective industries to provide expert advice and training to our students. This exercise is envisaged to enable students to groom and present themselves.

In my college, Faculties not only create new knowledge but transfer the same to next generation. Faculty of this college is very good. They always support the student’s activities. They always suggested the way of doing work. Teachers arranged the new activities which are suitable for the student’s growth. They always clear our doubts, queries, and problems.

I took UPSEE 2012 and scored 404 marks out of a total of 600. Scored 3448 rank in the entrance exam. I opted this college because it was the best college I could have got under this rank as I was not able to clear IIT JEE and in AIEEE ( Rank about 22500) too, I was not getting a good college. The one reason was also the fees which was less as compared to private colleges as this being a state govt. college.

Campus life is good. There is on an average 1:5 ratio of girls to boys. Campus is full of trees. So in the scorching heat, you can find some peace beneath the shady trees. Students councils are there like IEI, ISTE, CSI,Literary Council, Cultural Council, Q-Frat etc. which conduct various events throughout the year

Our department organises various events and activities.The institute also conducts workshops and seminars as per requirement of the Industry.Annually cultural and sports activities are conducted.For showing skills other than academic study our Institute organises quiz competition, debate competition,essay competition etc.

This is a 3 year full time undergraduate programme offered by DBS affiliated to HNB Garhwal University,Srinagar,Garhwal.The BCa degree is conferred at the convocation held by HNB Garhwal University.The entire course curriculum is conducted in Six Semesters covering all major programming languages.

According to me, placement of this college is not good. Companies offered very low packages to the students. Companies who come in the college which have designed very hard interview for the students and most of them students do not crack any interview. So Placement of this college is not good.

Faculty members are very passionate for their teaching and gives us always practical knowledge of current situation as well.Their main aim is to teach not only course syllabus but also aware us about current happenings of the world.They all have specialization in their subjects like print, electronic, graphics etc.

B.A ( Hons) Journalism Program is a three year graduate program.Syllabus consits of interdisciplinary foundation in the basic theory and skills necessary to become media practitioners of different areas.The course uses a combination of theoretical and practical training.

t is good college with big library and very good labs.We have excellent communication with our lecturers to clarify doubts and guide us to carrier.They give us training regarding placements and other competitive exams also.We have digital and department libraries also.The timings of college are very feasible for preparing competitive exams.The timngs are from 7:30am to 12:00 pm.

The college will be having loan facilities for the poor people. There are also very good scholarship that are given by our govt. In some of the times the College people will be giving the merit students some cash money as the token of appreciation.we have to pay our fee in one term which is a difficulty for a middle class families.

Mass communication in DBS are exposed to the syllabus of mass communication not only in it's theoretical splendour but also covering the practical Nitti gritties of the subject.Our state of the art of mass communication lab boasts of digital cameras and handy cameras to cater to the needs of students for exterior shoots.Syllabus is very well designed.

Team spirits of DBS students shines in our college campus.In the campus playground all students gather and play and makes them more agile and physically active.Football, cricket, basketball , badminton are much played in the playground.All the Students have Unity in DBS.

In this college, All the labs & workshop have been equipped with state-of-art equipment and accessories. World class infrastructure has been provided with the complete facilities like lecture rooms, well-stocked library with latest journals, separate hostel facility for boys and girls, sports & recreation zone and cafeteria etc. are in place so as to conduct the curriculum and all other extra and co-curricular activities smoothly.

All the faculty members of my college are good. They know how to taught children and how they managed all students. They give us assignment regularly. They give us notes, assignments, and everything that we have needed. All faculty members of my college are good from my points of view.

The placement of my college is quite good as compared to other private engineering colleges. All the well-known companies came here to place the students some of them are TECH MAHINDRA, TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES, ACCENTURE SERVICES PVT. LTD., INFOSYS TECHNOLOGIES LTD., Bajaj Auto, Mercedes, Honda, HP and many other(http://mitcoe.ac.in/career-placements/) According to records 392 students were placed in 2015-16 and 132 companies visited our campus. Out of them the highest salary was 11.40lpa and average salary was 4.05lpa. So its quite good.

The campus of the college is very good. It has a large campus, you will definitely mention it when you first enter in it. There are several places near the colleges where you can hangouts with friends. The gender ratio is good and there are students from different states also. College conducts and helps for extra curricular activities. There are competitions like ROBOCON, SUPRA, SAE, Different sports are also organised and some sessions too. Overall the college took participate in every activities that it can.
