Computer Science and Engineering students will learn about basic engineering techniques, as other engineering students, during first year course. These techniques include Engineering Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, and Engineering drawing. from second year they are exposed to core computer science subjects like programming, data structures, Digital logic, Theoretical computer science, Algorithms, Computer networks, Operating systems, Web technologies, Databases and Computer Architecture are few to mention.

The process OF summer internship starts with interaction with different organisations of repute who select management graduates from premier/reputed management institutions regularly. We maintain a database of the organisations where our students had been/can be placed for summer training. Further, every year we progressively add the names of other organisations that are interested in allowing our students to undertake summer training in their organisations. Students are required to undergo for 6-8 weeks for summer training.

The course structure is very good. It will be grade and credit based system. You will be asked to choose from courses for which credits will be allotted after completion of the course with successful grades. The courses offered will be amalgam of various branches of engineering giving you lot of scope for your varying interests.

Exams for theory subjects are conducted twice a semester, the mid-semester exam(about 30% weight-age) and the end-semester exam(about 50% weight-age) and the rest 20% are for class tests/assignments/attendance. The exams are scheduled for a fixed period of 9 days, 2 slots a day, so it may be hectic depending upon the number of subjects and the time-table for the particular exam.

The faculty is highly qualified, and as its IIT, it has to be as per the selection procedures. However, their qualification is not of use to the students, except when taking projects under them. About 90% of them are not interested in teaching or don't have teaching skills.
