After getting result, I didn't get selected in first round. so being hopeless I joined NIT, Allahabad but later in 2nd round I got entry in ISM Dhanbad. It was very hectic to withdraw nomination fro NIT Allahabad and get enrolled in ISM Dhanbad as I had only 3 days to complete both process. I took risk and withdrew my nomination from NIT,Allahabad and then for 1 day I was not in any of two colleges. this decision at that age made me cranky at that time because I was handling it all single handedly. My parents and guardians, nobody was with me to support, guide or ease out the process.Any how I reached ISM Dhanbad on 8-8-2009 and get myself enrolled. everybody there helped me and finally room allotted to me in Diamond hostel and so my section for further study.

Campus is quite big and also maintened clean and beautiful. a lot of tall buildings have been constructed. overall you will not get bored inside the campus as a lot of activites happen all the time inside the premise. people from all over india can be found over there. however, no. of girls are very less as compare to boys. in my time we were 650 students including 27 girls in my batch. there are around 10-12clubs from drama,music,social activities, toastmaster, robotics. some group discussions ,seminar,debates always arranged in auditorium or thetare. as ISM has 1 auditorium and 2 theaters.

The curriculum over here is decent Our college is an autonomous college The syllabus is better in our college when compared to the local universities and there affiliated colleges Rules over here are very strict The college s good in terms of knowledge but lags back in terms of practial learning as in many colleges IT gets many companies offering jobs but giant mncs like google amazon etc dont come here . Thats another Drawback

I got admission in Sree vidyanikethan Engineering College based on Eamcet score There was no special interview Generally it is done based on the Ap Eamcet It is one of the top engineering colleges in andhra pradesh It has a very good atmosphere The main reason preferring this college is the placement percentage it has a very good placement percentage and many renowned companies come over here

Got a government free seat. List was prepared , got admission in 2nd round. It was a centralized process for maharashtra , and was lucky to get free seat. paid 4000 rs fee per year. First round happend in VJTI college. everybody was new to this process at that time and was little confused with process. But Now i think it was a great decision to choose this college and pass with distiniciton in last year.

Some of the faculties were too good. and most of them are average, i did not do any classing. managed with college an dmy self studies. good labs and other facilitates provided. Professors were friendly.... as this was having diploma college as well, overall staff was good. and experienced. never faced issues with professors anytime

Campus life here in our university feels like a big family with small families living within it. Everyone person working in the university feels like a friend. We have many societies like NSS, research societies for eco friendly inventions. Very less politics can be seen in the university and the gender ratio is next to perfect. We also have an anti ragging cell which takes care of any of the ragging cases in the university.

I saw the admission and counselling notification in a newspaper and called them up to get a list of the document I have to carry during the counselling process. I did my counselling in the college itself. After some hours of waiting I got notified that I am eligible for the B.tech mechanical course and I was asked to submit the fees. That is how I took admission.

Actually i got the admission in the CAP Round which is conducted by the maharashtra state governmet... there are 3 stages in the process... 1st the form filling 2nd form filling for the desired college n 3rd the display of allotted seats in a particular college... There are 4 rounds in the seat alloment process I got the college in the 1st list itself I was very happy for that...

The faculty of Dbit is awsummm... Unlike other colleges the teachers here provide here with their personal notes.. which is very helpful Other collges provide their students with question banks for the unit tests... but our college doesnt provide us with question banks..instead they provide us with test papers to encoursge us to study for our main exam...

in my college having more installment fee structure in b.tech having the 8th semester yearly fees is 74500. he is completed with tow installment first is 35000 second is 39500. so on in other semester . its providing a more facility in education like life insurance and complete other requirement in sports activity.

Course structure is very good n this college all the plane which they made are very excellent and I hope that I will come in this college for getting my future better I don't have much more words to describe such a gracefully plannning All I had to do was revise whatever they would teach me and do my homework for the class. I studied for eight hours daily apart from attending coaching classes. I put all my energy and hard work in cracking this exam. I handled stress and pressure from studies very calmly.

The faculty of this college is also very intelligent All the professor of this college teaches me very well .. And I feel so interest whenever they teaches me So according to me this college faculty & other teacher etc all r very well Physics and Mathematics were my favourtie subjects so I cannot divide which subject was tougher or easier for me. I was rather enjoying solving questions.

I was admitted through the KCET process as said before and it was actually quite easy process as we all know CET allotment takes place and we also get the chance to change our colleges even after getting alloted through the CET process.. i just went with the flow and admitted to this college ..the admission and etc were all quite simple as far as I remember there were many students but yet well managed by the department..

The exam structure as we know is directed and looked upon by the vtu that is at belgaum..so the papers would the college principal eaarly morning each day on the day of exams and those would be printed out and circulated to the respected students and teachers and being frank exams are condcted in a strict way without lineance for copying etc..

the campus life of the college is very chilled out. the college has a very positive and good environment. the ratio of gender ratio is 5:3 as boys:girls. I really enjoyed my time in the SAITM campus. The campus is huge and me and my friends specially liked playing football in the campus. There was no differences of gender and both boys and girls interacted freely without any sense of alarm or useless differences. There were number of games and activities in the campus and it kept us busy.

Blending practical knowledge with theoretical aspects improve the outcome of a person. This is achieved by garnishing the knowledge of a student with techniques and skills. A lot of practical exposure and hard driven projects sharpen the software cones of a student mind.The programme duration consists of three academic years and each year is divided into two semesters.The proposed days of holding classes are in week days. The course is very prestigous and well known. students from all over the country come and seek admission into this college because of the convenient approach of the course.

The faculties of SAITM are really great as there are very friendly and sensitive towards their students. I did not feel any discomfort while sharing my problems with my teachers whether it was related to the academics or to the problems of my life. Their suggestions and guidelines has always helped me.

the course ranges for four years and has eight semesters. it deals with the primary principal of engineering. Which involves the understanding of Core concepts including mechanics, kinematics , Thermodynamics, material science , structural analysis and electricity .It deals with simulation , it not only involves paper learning but also provide hand on experience of making projects like solar panels, medical robots and flexible displays.The branch concentrates on the extensive and detailed knowledge of basic concepts of engineering. It broadened its horizons by focusing on quality delivery, solution approach, product development process, flexible manufacturing systems etc. It specialize them in programs like control systems robotics, transport and logistics, cryogenics, vibrations and optics

the fees of this programme is 80,000. it has to be given in two installments. the first installment is paid in the beginning and is of 40,000. according to me it is very pocket friendly and is in the reach.

The sole aim of the department is to provide the industry with Tech-savvy engineers. the college provides the facility of various labs so that the students can experience them in practical life . there are many labs such as POWER SYSTEM LAB, NETWORK THEORY LAB ,ANALOG ELECTRONICS LAB, DIGITAL ELECTRONICS LAB, DIGITAL SIGNAL PROCESSING LAB, ELECTRIC DRIVES & CONTROL LAB ,MICROPROCESSOR & INTERFACING LAB, PRINCIPLE OF COMMUNICATION SYSTEM LAB ,ELECTRONICS MEASUREMENT & INSTRUMENTATION LAB.

the college provides with many facilities such as that it is Centrally Air-conditioned, impressive building with spacious classroom, symposium areas and auditorium. it also have Well equipped laboratories with the latest available technologies.they have a Massive and well equipped digital library.there is a Language laboratory to emphasize on communication proficiency. the best part is that it provides with 20 Mbps dedicated line of Internet and WIFI enabled campus. there is a Cafeteria and compact shop for daily requirements are met and we used to chill alot here.

Almost all festivals and occasions were celebrated in my college such as Diwali, Navrati, Christmas, etc. Majority of the students took part in these festivals and they were celebrated with much enthusiasm and energy. Festivals were carried out on a fairly large scale as the college has really big grounds for all the music and decoration.

In regards to gender ration there are more boys than girls in my batch, however there is equality and very good rapor between the students. As we are situated in Gujarat there was a lot of diversity and students came from all over India, debates proved to e very fun and exhilarating as all members were involved thoroughly.

Placement and job opportunities are only in Computer science or IT field. Even the Mechanical and Electronics Students used attend computer and IT placements as there were no companies coming around for Mechanical and Electronics. For computer and IT field there were only one or two companies with good name and reputation.The rest were mainly local companies of Chandigarh region. Stats of placements vary drastically within departments. Where computer and IT departments have around 50% placements. On the other hand Mechanical and Electronics departments had almost 0% placements through campus placements drive as there were no companies of these fields that came to college.

Well, when I studied there it was under the affiliation of Punjab Technical University So, the course and curriculum were decided by university and college just followed that. All the subjects are decided by university except some optional subjects in last three semesters. For these optional subjects university offers choice among 4 or 5 subjects and college decides which subject is to be chosen. Rest was the execution of the provided curriculum. Some highlights are as follows 1. Monthly sessional Tests 2. Weekly assignments 3. Lab sessions 4. Seminars. 5. Expert lectures by Professors from other institutions.

the course curriculum ranges for eight semesters and for four years. the department is specialised in research and development work under the supervision of the experts. The Main vision of the department is to mould tomorrows technocrat’s by assimilating the importance of human values for innovation & creativity.Tele-communication engineering is a wide platform to design various systems which are involved in transmission, processing and storage of information.Electronics and telecommunication engineering has raised the standard of communication in today’s world.

Exam structure is rigourous, as in an average there is 1 exam every 3 days, including the assignments and the class tests. There are two cycle tests. And then there is model test of theory and practical both. Between them there is assigments and projects and presentations. Finally we have the university semester exams along with the practicals again.

It is having over 90% placement record. Its really good in that field. It prepared its students for it. And also there are mass recruiters as well as core companies comming to pay you enough. This year from our EEE branch the highest package paid was around 15 lakhs. So there is really good placement offered.
