The yearly feee for btech at psit is around rupeee 1.6-1.7 lakhs, which includudes tutition, developmement and lab fees. At the time of admission , a one time registration and caution fee of about ruppee 10000 is charged . The overall cost for the 4 year course to roughly ruppee 6.5 lakh -7lakhs . The fee is mostly stable and does not increase drastically every year. PSIT offers several scholarships such as merit -based scholarships for students with high jee or acadmeic scores and state govt scheme sfor SC/ST/OBC and economically weaker students. The management category has slightly higher fees com[ared to the general category. Overall, the fee structure is reasonable considering the excellent placements and facilities offered.
My campus life at PSIT has been full of learning and joy. The college hosts two main fests - IGNITIA the annual fest held in March and freshers for the new admission comers held in November. Both events bring fun, skill show and tech contets that boost team spirit. The library has a wide range of books, online journal , and digital tools. It is open for long hours and easy to access for all students. Classrooms are fitted with smart boards, projectors, and wifi that make lessons more clear and engaging. College has many clubs work for tech , dance , music, drama and coding. Groups like coding, e-cell, cultural club help in skill and team growth. These clubs and fests have made these events more intresting nd participating.
The fee structure is : 1. Tution Fee - 40000 2. Library Fee - 600 3. Laboratory Fee - 700 4. Internet Fee - 2500 5. Training & Placement Fee - 500 (one time only in final year) 6. Medical Insurance Fee - 330 7. Alumni Fee - 1000 (one time) 8. Other Institute Fee - 2050 9. Caution Money (Refundable) - 5000 (one time) 10. AKTU Exam Fee - 7500 ( paid directly to AKTU, Lucknow via Online Mode) Hence Total Fee is 52180 for 1st year, 46180 for 2nd and 3rd year and 46680 for final year. For Hostellers, Hostel Mentainanace Fee = 10000 per year and Mess Charge = 32000per year, i.e., 42000 per year effectively. The fee is not very much and moreover scholarship is provided by the Uttar Pradesh Government for the students of UP.
In college, it is very good to join different clubs and activities. It will develop confidence, team spirit and will polish your overall personality. There are various clubs like Cultural Club, Literary Club, Photography and Fine arts Club, Sports Club, Niketan Club, Tech & Hobby Club, etc. Generally, Freshers, fests and farewells are organised as a part of the cultural and recreational activities. The Library facility in the college is very good. You will get almost all kinds of books from the library. If you want a specific book from the library, you may ask them to order. You can play sports like Volleyball, Basketball, Football, Cricket, Kabaddi, Badminton, etc.
The faculty of the college are very experienced and professional in nature. Most of them have completed their doctrate in their specific fields and some of them have also done their studies from universities like oxford so we know the kind of college they will pass on will not be of some useless type. They create cordial environment in the classroom while teaching so no one is afraid to participate in the classroom in the discussion which is happening. They all have different methods of teaching according to their own subjects and all those methods are quite effective and if we have any doubt at any point of time we can always ask it in the classroom or fetch them later after class is over for our doubts and they're more than happy to solve them. The exams happen twice a semester once internal and other time external the exams dont seem quite difficult because we are already taught all the concepts very clearly in the classroom so giving exams seems like a cake walk
The curriculum is well adjusted according to the NEP and we are not only learning the theoretical subjects but also practical subjects like IT, EM where classes are held frequently not only focusing on the theories aspect of the syllabus. Tho the curriculum is well adjusted to the NEP it still doesn't prepare you really well for the real world applications or further acedmic pursuits. The improving I would suggest is that in accounting rather than focusing on making journal we should be taught how to make financial models in excel cause we all reach outside our college and classes looking for resources to learn it we should rather learn it in college cause journal and leadger like chapters and concepts are already taught to us in school so what's the point of college education if we are somehwat repeating the concepts.
As it CU is a state university it is quite affordable for students to pursue studies here. For B.Tech the fees is around 40k for the full 4 year course. To enroll themselves in the B.Tech curriculum one must pass the wbjee exam- During wbjee councelling 5k is paid which is then adjusted in the 1st semester fees. So for 1st sem- Tution fees: 5k (paid during councelling) Library fees: 800 Lab fees: 800 Athletic fees: 5 Union fees: 5 Magazine fees: 5 Studnets' Aid funf: 5 Students' Health home fees: 2 Identity Card fees: 50 Total = 6772 And for next 7 semesters- Tution fees: 3000 Lad fees: 1500 Athletic fees: 5 Union fees: 5 Magazine fees: 5 Students' Aid fund: 5 Students' Health home fees: 2 Total = 4522 Total fees for 4 years = 6772 + 4522x7 = 38426 rupees (without hostel)
In our dept we have mentors for every students, faculty to students ratio is quite great and they are very easily approacable. Dr. Sumitra Mukhopadhyay is my mentor and she is very friendly and easily approachable, Dr. Nikhil Ranjan Das is one of the senior-most and respected professors in our department, his classes are very insightful and very easy to understand. Dr. Debatosh Guha's experience working in the industry and easy to understand classes are also quite good. There are 2 midsems in our dept and the difficulty is medium to hard in most cases. Around 10% of the students fail.
Some of the faculty are pure gems, while some of them are rude and get easily triggered. If you talk about the first year, the faculties are excellent in the first sem, they will support you fully in the adjusting phase of your college as a freshie. If you ll ask doubts, they ll help you. You can anytime reach them for help. If you talk abut the second sem of the first year, there the faculties are worst, you'll find these faculties as the worst one of your full phase of the 4 years. A lot of frustration will be there by you from them. Some of helpful faculties, i'm attaching their names and departments - MANISH KUMAR SIR (PHYSICS), REKHA BALI MAAM (MATHS AND DATA SCIENCE) POOJA AGNIHOTRI MAAM (CS), SHAILI PANDEY MAAM (CHEMISTRY) , HARSHIT SIR(CIVIL), IMRAN KHAN SIR (CS), DEO CHANDRA JAISWAL SIR(ELECTRONICS), AJEET SIR(ELECTONICS). AFTER THAT, from the second year onwards, the course becomes like this that you have to work on your own, and the role of faculty reduces onwards as in 3rd and final year in terms of teaching and in terms of personal guidance, it increases significantly. The faculties are chill by the upcoming years and they'll grant you relief from 75% criteria and will help you get more bunks. In ter,s of exams the curriculum is easy and you'll get easy cooked marks. Faculties are good in terms of giving marks and you'll definitely score a good CG, if you study attentively in the class. but still some of the students fail to clear the exam, coz they avoid studies in such a way that they bunk classes and didn't study a day before exam too. But still if you are having a back too, still you can give re-exam and clear it. Re-exams are done during summer vacation period and their difficulty level is moderate.
The curriculum is outdated and needs to be improved as early as possible. The curriculum is like past back 10 years, only ging you knowledge of bookish level not of the ground reality. the teaching methods are also outdated, in most of the classes they are still using the chalk boards, also they where you need proper visualisation. They need proper lab, infra, and good set of faculties in some areas and this all will signifiantly improve the quality of educayion in hbtu. While talking about exams, the difficulty level is easy to moderate and students easily score in them. You can definitely score a good cg just by studing a single day or two day befor the exams, coz the paper repeats 70% of itself of the previous years papers.
Fee structure in LIT is masterclass in financial endurance. For IT batch of 25, the yearly fees started at modest sum that magically grows every year, apparently the inflation hits only students. Tution fees were changed generously alongside caution fees , admission fees, registration, lab fees, miscellaneous fees and other fees.
Campus Life at LIT is an endurance sport disguised as education. Culturals and events are thrilling mainly because they perfectly coincide with exams. Classrooms are perfectly equipped with no longer working projectors and desk that reminds you how uncomfortable chairs can inspire deep thinking.
It celebrate almost all the festival like Diwali ,Holi ,Christmas and also conduct fest. Sports and extra curriculum activities offered on this campus with National and international tye up. Social groups clubs and technical provision will also experienced.
The duration of the BCA course is 3 year with one year internship. The semester wise exam will conduct after completing 6 month and the curriculum activities will conduct according to coming events like National and international competition.
overall, it is average. not too great. infrastructure lacks in sports amenities. there iis prevalence of extra-curricular activities. no specific fests and technical activities are being organised and if there are any , then i'll get to know them in the subsequent months. placement activities are not student driven. student portal is goood and woorks effeciently.
faculties are good. they are good mentors. they are approachable when needed. Exam occur at the end of every three months. 40 marks for internals and 60 marks for the externals are allotted. approximately 20-25 courses are offered in a year. so there is a lot to learn. if you are well equipped with application based knowledge, then exams are good to go thing.
College do provided internship opportunities in your third year so companies will be visiting the college and you have to apply according to your Eliza eligibility and interview will be happening and on the basis of interview you will be selected all rejected waste on your scales and selection criteria so college will provide a good opportunity to get selected into save
The exams are code there are two exams one is minor and major. Minor is met term exam and major exam is final term exam. The evaluation is relative with your class students so if you are friend has score very much high then you will be getting bad great and if the class IV is not at my good you will be getting cool grades
Because in this course income is medium and need more Yes curriculum yes best and for the world Yes area is good because in Jaipur to many bad areas which are not safe and teaching methods of some teacher are good of professional explain well Yes they provide exam facilities well because they want student learn well
Student of the year I like best of the year with competition and in months complete order wise through festival The range of book is high and journal always available in library Yes there sometimes good Sports tournament they train for that and other activities Yes for all
At the time of admission for registration & 1st sem fee 42,700 Uniform fee 12500 Mess deposit 6000 Every year 50000 Per semester 25000 Total 8 semesters 4 yrs degree course Scholarship details For Sc candidates 41700 Yearly scholarship 2Lakhs tution fee Every month mess bill around 3500 (Student managed mess)
According my nature, its very pleasant and not much stress required just chill and study in nature, forests Visits will be there for every semester, Telangana tour,South india tour, north india tour, village attachments, range attachments, urban attachments, industrial attachments, dessertation.etc
The fees includes academics and maintainance which is around 60000 and 12000 respectively per year .The admission fees charged in first year was around 5000.The academic fees is around 135000 per year and is approximately constant for each of four years.
The club environment in this collage is really good. There are so many clubs like shaurya ,raga ,robotics , motorsport, sahyog and many others related to the field sports ,music ,robots and technology, car racing, academics etc respectively.
1.I choose electrical engineering because of my keen interest in the sector of electric vehicle and other related fields that are associated with electric vehicle. 2. This curriculum provides me the environment and teach the subjects like power electronics, control system engineering also provides the hands in experience on the few of the tools and simulating softwares like MATLAB and SImulink and aprt from thar there is also motorsports club to provide value addition in this sector. 3. As per my perception there is need of inclusion of few of the subjects that can taught the implementation of ADAS system techniques that can be used in EVs and apart from that her must of exclusion of few of the outdated subjects from the curriculum too that are continued from a very long time. 4. Exams comes usulayy after once in two months. So i think its a quite good frequncy for any students to wrap up the contents reauired for the exam and get the insights of the subjects and able to apply the same for the real world applications.
So there used to sit around 57 students in a class for a particular subject and 1 or 2 teachers used to teach a particular subject and there used be around 5 to 6 subjects in a semester and there are around 25 to 30 teaches in a department. The faculties are too approachable and you can approach them whenever you want and they are quite supportive. I like few of the faculties like Dr. S Ghosh, Dr. Anamika Yadav and may others, its beecause of their skills and ability to teach anything conceptually. Till now there is no any faculty member whom i can say that i do not like them. There ar two exams in each semester i.e. Mid semester examination and end Semester Examination. Exams used to be actually moderate level, its neither too easy nor too hard. Failing of students depends on the subjects and teachers. So there is no fixed criteria that this much students are going to fialed in a partiuclar subject. Our course is too relevent when you compare it to the cutting edge tools and technologies related subjects.
The facilities are not good in Srinagar college there are not facilities of vehicles peoples are waiting for vehicle day to evening there is no facility the classes is not going in time everyday classess gone a hell in next day the hospital in the sringar is government but there is no doctors of neurology and etc
This course is basically based on research , if you want to do research in this field you can do this. Talking about scope you have to study further to get a secure future . In this course you have to give one mid sem and one end sem in one semester .
I took my admission in ECE branch of nit Raipur later I slide my branch from ECE to IT on the basis of my cpi --9.81(after first year) The I take a look on the syllabus and course curriculum of Information technology branch....... On my basis it is enough good for an IT student. All the subjects related to the core course is included like Design Analysis and Algorithms, Data structures in 2nd semester, Computer network in 5th semester, software Engineering in 4th semester, and all others . All subjects are related to the future need and specially for our placement exams . So overall it is good Mid semester is of 2 house and end semester is of 3 hours. Paper is lengthy ifyou can't write the exams at fast speed maybe your paper will be left and you gain no marks . So be fast !. Marking scheme is good-- For mid semester --15 marks from unit 1 15 marks from unit 2 For end semester --5 marks from unit 1 5 marks from unit 2 20 marks from unit 3 20 marks from unit 4 So for 1 semester 20 marks from unit 1 20 marks from unit 2 20 marks from unit 3 20 marks from unit 4
1st year --140000(70k per semester)--paid 2nd year --Around 137000(68500 per semester)--paid 3rd year--Around 137000(68500 per semester)--5th semester paid for 6th semester to be paid 4th year--Around 137000(68500)--to be paid Tution fee-62500per semester rest amount will be under other fees Fee waiver for annual income Between 1 to 5 lakhs ---2/3rd fee remission Below 1laks - 100% fee remission Sc/St -100%fee remission NSP --102000 for first years 50k for next 3years (on the basis of income and jee mains result) Shraman foundation scholarship -25k per semester (financial weaker sections) Shrimati sundari devi-6000 merit based Reliance scholarship -50k per year
Course curriculum is not decided by the college. It majorly depends on VTU. Curriculum definitely includes all the niche subjects and technologies to actually prepare the candidates for real world applications. Traditional teaching methods were used during 2010. However, I believe that college has adopted comprehensive digital teaching methods now. Frequency of exams is semester wise (once in 6 months) and there were 3 internal tests held for every semester.
Initially back in 2014 when I passed out, the placement opportunities provided were not many. However they had good placement co-ordinators. I believe the placements have improved now. Many companies visited back then, like HP, Infosys etc. However, students were also encouraged to take part in Pool Campus interviews to get hired. Highest package was around 4 lakhs per annum for freshers. Only around 15-20 percent of students got placed through the college.
Faculty and students ratio is good , faculties are too down to earth if you need any educational level help they are always approachable. The faculties i like are Dr Amal kumar mondal and Dr Debdulal Bannerjee.for their consistent guidance and their nature how they deal with us in class and outside of the class room and office room . Their are 2 internal in one semester and one final exam. And after completion of 10 class their is an test .
The affordablity of this course and i want to dive in research so the faculties are so much capable and i believe thatwith their help i will fulfill my goal . Improvement of lab instruments in mint condition is a necessity for us . Difficulty level is moderate if you study fluently this semester system exam will not disappoint you.
The b tech program offers a cost effective and transaprent free structure of approximately 60000 per year this includes tuiton laboratory access academic resources and participation in institutional activities designed to provide a compressive technical over the four duration the total program cost is 240000 covering all academic expenses the institution financial policy hs remained stable for 4 5 years ensuring no expected fees hikes or hidden charges this stability reflects a transparent and student oriented approach that helps families plan finances confidently
My classroom ratio was 35 :30 and the class is not clean and no proper ac fan ..but the faculty are very good except Head of department .. because faculty always support and tell us about the exam pattern and about marking scheme and the exam that happen they check hard copy because we regret and then next week try to study more ...all facilities are good
The annual fest of our college is srcc crossroads. It is held for 3 days with more than 20,000+ footfall. Famous singer comes to perform. Along with this our college organises asia largest management fest that is business conclave. Our library has commerce and economics related books. Along with that it has english and hindi novels, magazine, newspaper. Our college organizes various sports activities like srcc kho kho. Our college has more than 50 societies and clubs like finance an investment cell, enactus, tedx, NSS. They organize events, seminar, speaker sessions, online session. They make college life more engaging and vibrant.
There are more than 200 faculties for 3000 plus students. Most of the faculty are good, approachable, understand students, supportive. Faculties are ready to help the students whenever needed. My commerce faculty is good, specially renu aggarwal who teaches us management. But one faculty i didn't like is RK shah who teaches us financial accounting. He is very strict and insane person. Talking about the exams. We have 1 semester exams each semester. In the semester we have internals, tests which depends on the faculty. The level of exams is moderate not very easy or not very difficult. You can pass the exams easily.
The faculty at the college is remarkable. They are not only proficient in their subjects but also have knowledge of other subjects in the department. They are really friendly and easy to approach. Faculty are also understanding and don't give students a hard time. The teachers are also very lenient with internal exams. They usually ask the students when they want to conduct the internals and what syllabus are they comfortable with, they also give students multiple changes to improve on their tests. Not all teachers ask for tests some finish their markings throught presentations or assignments. The marking are also lenient. It's very rare to find a strict teacher but they are also usually very easy to approach and wishes well for us.
The curriculum for my course, economics hons. , I would say is very relevant to our day to day life. The curriculum set by the university doesn't focus only on indian economics but economies through out the world. The suggested books are also the top books used in many international top universities. The curriculum provides us with a lot of real world applications through various case studies. For exams the delhi university guidlines are followed and I would say now the exams are based on more of practical usage and how materials taught in class are applied in real life.
