Very good amount of students are available in our college and the teacher to student ratio is very good . There are very good teacher especially I say Dr. Pradip Mandal from math depertment he is really a good teacher and the behaviour of his teacher is really very good he always help us in 1st year when he was our mentor but after second year the mentors are changed but still he helps us our whole class like him very much. Also there are similar minded teachers who always helps the students. In first year there is a teacher I don't say his name he is from physics dependent he always screwed us and make us feard without any reason.I think the whole previous batches also dislike him.He also take our physics lab and every physics lab just a nightmare of us we are very happy we successfully go through all the things and passed without any huge problem. There are 8 exams in whole four year and each semester they take 3 ct exams . Very few students failed in exams but they easily go through the back paper . The exams structure is very good and quite easy. The course curriculum is relevant and it follows the makaut syllebus.
At first year when I got admission I was paying 91000 rs for admission and other maintenance charges then other semesters we have to pay accordingly like in second sem the fee is around 66000 and the third sem fee is around 72000 rs and the fees structure continue according to the semester. For the registration, admission lab fees , development fees all the maintenance charges are cover in 1st sem when we pay 91000rs .For sc/st/obc their are some benefits they got especially the government funded facilities and also we get Swami Vivekanand scholarship for west Bengal students and the bihari students got their own goverment funded scholarship. According to Swami Vivekanand scholarship we get 60000rs per year as per our educational purposes. Its provide according to our merit.
The students faculty relationship is very friendly andeasy to approach. They were available all the times to clear doubts and to solve problems.our dept hod is best and handle the students with care. Thereare totally 12 exams in 2 semesters and it is easy to clear because of our faculty coaching.
From 3rd semester onwards students eligible to attend placement classes. 134 companies including mncs . The highest salary package is 14lpa. 100% placement for all students .my plan after getting degree is to apply for government job
I paid 82000 for odd semester and 78000 for even semester.good college in this amount of fee and placement of this college is also good, hostel facility of this college is also good in this amount of fee college is good
Curriculum is also good, curriculum prepares you for real world applications or further academic pursuits the timing of exam is very frequently in every month class test will happen overall curriculum is very good
Fee structure is basically 83000 for 6 months ( including 12k which is one semester fee). And next semester fee you have to pay 80k including hostel fee. In Short for odd semen you have to pay 83k including hostel and 80k for Even semester. Admission fee is 10k. We have to pay 2k for semester exam. If you are Bengali then you will get scholarship of 60k per semester. But if you are not bengali ( from other states) then you will have to pay whole tution yourself.
The frequency of exam is 2 times in a year . The difficulty level is hand blowing which means hard..and i will suggest to improve in tech course. Since teacher don't show the coding at the time of teaching. And that when he/she shows code in lab class which almost after 2-3 days things got blur in mind. That's why I will suggest to show coding related program during taking class
Here faculty to student relationship depends on you if you are a good student then your faculty to student relationship is good another than is bad if you attend daily classes and active in class then teachers will support you... I am not mentioned the faculty name but they are some facilities are very good and supportive in nature. There are in every sem take 3 test and the last semester final exam the level of exam is average 95% portion will come from your class notes
The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company
My overall compass live experience at H IT has been very positive and full of learning beyond academics. The environment is lively the students get many chances to explore their talents and interests. The college host several events every year like Prayukti and Rivera . The library at H IT oil equipped with wide range of textbook, reference books, and national and international journals it is one of the biggest central library in Bengal. The classrooms are modern most of them share equity in air-conditioning and most of them has a smart board. Haldia Institute of technology also organization, annual sports events and several types of tournaments like cricket football, and basketball tournament. I am a member of IEEE HIT SB , which organization workshops, seminars, hackathons technical sessions being part of it has helped me improve my technical knowledge, teamwork and leadership skills. There are also other students run clubs for coding, music, dance, photography, etc..
I have paid combined 110000 as admission fee hostel fee for six month that is ?12,000 and 5000 is the caution money for the hostel and the admission fee also includes first sem fee. After that, I have paid ?82,000 for second semester that includes 12,000 hostel fee. Also that means 70,000 for the semester and 12,000 for the hostel. After that, I paid third semester fee around ?72,000 because in odd semester my college charges some college development fee fees annual library fee annual sports fee and some miscellaneous charges that's why 72000 rs and instead of ?70,000. An hour college also provide TFW facility that means the TFW students don't have to pay the tuition fee. Around 100000rs is the fee for the whole course(4yr) for tfw students.
Our fees is different for odd and even semesters. For odd semester it is Rs 71250 and for even semesters it is Rs 68750. 1st semester total amount I paid was Rs 93950 because it included registration fees admission fees etc. I did not opt for hostel since the first year so my fees is lesser. In the first semester. Tution fees was 60500 rs admission fees was 10000 rs refundable caution money 5000 rs sports and student welfare fees 1000 rs library fee 1500 rs cost of admission /id card/ prospects fee 5000 rs development fees 8250 rupees university registration fees 500 rupees and university development fees 2200 rupees. Additionally we pay 2000 rupees every semester as part of registration free for examination which is 16000 over a span of 4 years as examination registration fees.
7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa
The names of the annual and technical festivals: Rivera, along with the months they are typically held : january The range and accessibility of books and journals available in the library : books like all the books that are required for Engineering and personal develpment The facilities and technological provisions within the classrooms : AC An overview of sports and extracurricular activities offered on campus : vollyball, basketball Any student-run social groups, clubs, or student portals, including their impact on student life : many clubs like ISTE, IEEE, CSI, GDG etc
- faculty are almost : 250 , student : 1200, so ratio : 0.208 - I don't like most of the faculty because of their 3rd class mindset of coming college everyday othewise you cannot get a job. - some are best faculties who are aware of the current job market situation and they obvioulsy help the students for the hackathons and otehr tech programs and encourages the students to participate various types of seminars .. they are really good. - ha ha ha! fail ??? here no one fail ... if you respect rhe teachers you cannot fail .... if you are not tooo dumb.
- The faculty to student ratio in a batch is 1:75 (one faculty vs 75 students). Some faculties are good and some are totally worst and does partiality with few students. - Ex-HoD (DS) Sumit Kumar Maity Sir is too good with his knowledge of mathematics and is very friendly and tries to give out of the box opportunites to students. Machine Learning faculty for DS branch is also good. - Worst faculty from DS branch is of DSA, she does partiality more than teaching. The Statistics faculty is okay with teaching but worst in student management. - Every Year there are 2 semester exams of 70 marks and in between there are 3 CTs (class tests) which are of just 15 marks, Exam is of moderate difficulty and mostly the questions are from teacher's notes. Most of the students clear the exam except some getting backs in some subjects. The course curriculum is old and not updated as per current industry standards.
- The clubs here are generally good, year round many online and offline events are conducted but I would not say that it has a good culture of events/social events. Here some events are paid and some are unpaid so student gets opportunity. I would rather say that joining any club or participating in any events of clubs here are just a waste of time. - Library has many books with most of them of old edition with very few new books. - The technologies in labs are good with updated desktops with latest OS version. - Sport facilities as such are not there and there are no GYM trainers or sports mentor but yes there is a GYM, a football ground/cricket ground and a basketball court.
the campus is ragging free with frendly seniors who are always ready to help the students in their academics the facilites provided here are not seen in any other college there is a huge library in the college which contain more than 20000 books and each and every course have seperate library in their block which again contain more than 10000 books they also conduct sports for students we compete with eachother every year to win the house cup
i being in 1st year had paid 50000 i had got a seat through counselling so govt pays 35000 for me ,course fee of my course is 85000 and including all the regestration fee the managment student have 130000. i wish my college fee should be a bit less because its not worth to pay such amount of money to a clg with low infrastructure and the faculty here are once who studied in this college itself and now they are in faculty position
The fee structure of lcit bilaspur,is quite reasonable compared to other private colleges .the yearly tution fees of btech cse course 6330 per year.there are small additional charges such as exam fees around 1000 to1500 per semester For student staying in hostel, the hostel fee is around 26k per year. The mess charge is taken separately Overall the total cost including college fees dress, books ,mess, transport ,rent to approximately 1,25,000 The fees structure generally remain stable and does not increase frequently These are also a few scholarship opportunities for meritorious and financial weak students, such as the chhatisgarh stable scholarship , minority scholarship and merit cum-means scholarship students who scored well in exam or belonging reserved categories can apply for these benefit through government portal Overall, the college maintain a transparent and affordable fee structure suitable for middle class student
We had techx march a test fest with coding compition and culture flesta , celebrate dancing and music The libraries had a decent range of book and journal on engineering and science students could borrow book easily We had cricket, football badminton and other game etc including cooding club, robotic drama and musicclub
for students. belonging to gen /obc/ category with an annual family income of 5 lakh and above, the tuition fee is 62500 per sem ,while other charges amt to approx 30,500 for odd sem and 25,000 for even sem .In the first sem ,an additional refunndable caution money of 5k is charged. On avg,the total. fee for one year is around 1.8 lakh+50 k mess money per year. Overall the cost of doing btech at nit j for a general catgory student who is a hosteller is approx 7.2 lakh .
my overall experience is just fine. i got really good friends in college so my experience is good im enjoying it.but most of the things in my college need improvement and are below average. My soccial liffe in college is okay. since my social circle is good. and i am a girl and girls are not allowed to go out of the hostel outside 20 pm which i totally hate .boys roam freely. i am in bhangra club and i love my club. the infrastruxture of college is okay. some buildings have become old and need renovation .
It have been 2 years from when I have came to here...in our college there are approximately 4000 candidates of all 6 years and around 1k students of our batch i.e 2023-29 batch and we all are got free seats based on the 10th class merit and from different parts of telugu states. The fee structure starts from 45000 per year and increases 1-2k per year for academics which was completely free for andhra students and only paid by the non scholarship students who have parents working in government sectors And the also hostel fees etc also are paid by the government only
The faculty to student ratio was too low there very low faculties for a subject also most of the faculties are guest faculties. Hence there faculties doesn't show much care on the students There many faculties like Dr.srinivas, Dr.Tilak who are very good and cares about students career and try to help out the problems There many faculties whose behaviour was weird with the students and just like they don't care Exams are almost same as it was out of the campus 4 years...8 semester they and labs and mids are also same
the overall experience of the college campus is dissapointing beacuse of many factors if you are looking for the college for the campus life then just go for someone else. No cultural fest has ever happened in this college only and tech summit once in a year which is good but not much like other college ya clubs are much active their events regularly occours. The libarary is very small no space to study there only curriculam books are present there along with some of the other books. In the classrooms green boarf are present although classrooms are good furnished and air conditioned so they are good. Sports facilities are very minimal no proper ground and indor facility. about 15-20 clubs are present in college and yes they are active only the source of fun int he college.
The semester wise tutuon fees is 111000 which include only tutuon fees and group fees. For the new student who join for the first time have to pay 135425 for a semester which include a admission fees of 10000 for the one time only ,no registration fees institute development fees is 5000 and lab fees is 2000 and many other fees like interent and sport fees which makes it to 135425 for a semester. For the Sc, St students it costs 117425. And for the rest of the semstet you to pay 111000 and 93000 for the category students. For the students the schlorship is of nsp which student can easily get if they are eligible and reliance schlorship.
Faculty to student ratio is like 1:50. Faculties are very good, they always help out students and very positive in order to solve doubts. For btech, I remember Archit somani sir as my cs professor. Hes very good teacher as well as a very polite person And My maths professor, Arjit kumar sir. Hes the best teacher ive ever seen. Every thing is crystal clear, when he explains. For dislikes, Theres a professor named, Sucheta mondal as physics teacher, but her teaching style and explaining skills are very poor. Most of students skips her class. For exams, there are many, ill rate them out of 10 in difficulty 1) quizes (6/10) 2) graded labs (8/10) 3) vivas (8/10) 4) midsems/endsems (9/10) Btech course exams is actually hard, i remember the average marks of ece midsem was 2/40
THERE ARE HELL LOT OF FUNCTIONS GOING ON. Almost every month. Freshers, jalsa, and many club functions There are many many many clubs, you can find every club you could ever think of. For sports, there are everything available, football, basketball, tennis, cricket, squash, badminton, rock climbing, chess, pool table, athletics, weightlifting, martial arts, and many more. You could get every equipment for free to use. And there's separate place for every sport. Theres separate gym and cardio room too. And the best thing for freshers, on their first day. They can choose there family heads (2nd year students), who will make their first month so fun and will make one familiar and comfortable with college.
There are four permanent faculties. Guest faculties and Teaching Assistants are also assisting with labs and other teaching duties. Lalitha Naik and Ambika Dhane are nice faculties in permanent faculties. They are very approachable. Treat every student as their kids (At least they say) Non permanent faculties like Shreenidhi Bhat and Archana Siddhanti are nice. Worst faculty is Kalpana Dalwai. Very disgusting Known for targeting student's. Giving poor marks. Making comments. Blackmailing student's. Poor in teaching and English Communication. Worst kind of person. Irresponsible coordinator. Very frustrating experience. Exams are held semester wise. Internal assessment are held twice in every semester. We had six subjects in each semester. Final year final year we had a project of 300 marks. Now curriculum has totally changed
Hi dear students. I was enrolled in Bsc Computer Science by department of BCA and BSC CS, Kcd. The college is a constituent college of Karnataka University, Dharwad. The tuition fees which I paid back in 2019 was around 21 K. Now the BSc Cs course has been discontinued after the Implementation of NEP in 2020. It is increased as of now. For Management seats, Sc/St fees are different. Also Scholarship are given to them.
For ST students thier no tution fees. You just have to pay hostel and mess charges.. in even semester the fees is around Rs 25500 and in odd semester it is around Rs 30500 for Hostelers. So it around Rs 56000 in1 year and Rs 448000 for total 4 years. For General students , the hostel and mess fees is same, just they have to add additional tution fees. If the student's family income is less than 1 lakh, they don't have to pay any tution fees, only mess fees have to be paid. If the student's family income is in between 1lakh to 5 lakh, they have to pay around Rs 51300.(Mess+tution fees) And if the student's family income is more than 5 lakh, they have to pay around Rs 93000 per semester (mess+, fees)
Faculty-to-student ratio is around 7.6/10, some teachers are very good and friendly, and some teachers are a bit rude, but it all depends on the student's behaviour toward the faculties . There are total of 2 main exams and 3 quizes{ 5 marks each(best 2 out of 3)} in a semester. The 2 main exams consider a mid sem of 30 marks and 50 marks end sem. A student must have to score a marks of 40 out of 100 and a min of 15 marks in end sem to pass in that semester.
The faculty in our college are very well graduated and decent staff. When it comes to the computer science branch the faculty are simply excellent. And even the other branches staff are decent and well educated members. Our principal takes care of them and us very well. I like the way of the faculty who teaches us.
The course and curriculum consists everything related to the topics. I rate our curriculum 9/10 as compared to the other once. By the help of the curriculum we can prepare our way for the exams and we can get an idea on them. It is very helpful for the students when they are preparing for the exams.
My college provides excellent internship opportunities through its placement cell, allowing students to gain real industry exposure. These experiences helped me apply theoretical concepts in practical settings and build professional skills. In my second year, I interned at Kashee Milk Producer Company Ltd. as a Marketing Intern, where I conducted market research and field surveys to understand customer preferences and product demand. I also assisted in promoting dairy products and helped the team design local marketing strategies. This experience gave me valuable insights into rural marketing and consumer behavior. Later, I worked with Graveiens Edu Services Pvt. Ltd. as a Business Development Intern, where I focused on lead generation, LinkedIn outreach, and client communication. I contributed to increasing engagement and identifying potential business opportunities. Both internships helped me strengthen my communication, analytical, and marketing skills while understanding real-world business operations.
The placement record for the college is average. As far as I know most students gets placed with high or low package as per their capabilities. There is a platform called superset on which students regularly gets information about job vacancies within companies and easily apply through it. There is Career Development Centre that have a bunch of career mentor who personally guide students about their career opportunities. I am personally not planning to do job after completing my degree. I would persue government job and therefore would like to prepare fro competitive exams like Union Public Service Commission.
I chose Mtech Thermal Engineering because I was interested in thermal subjects like Fluid mechanics, Heat transfer, CFD. The Curriculum is pretty decent and it does covers the fundamentals and advanced topics of the particular subject but it could be better in terms of imparting practical and industrial knowledge. The exams that are held in NITK are competitive and requires a good understanding of the subject. You simply cannot cram and get good marks in exam. You have to know the proper implementation of that particular formula or theory.
Overall I felt faculties are good and supportive in Mechanical department atleast. I can't say about other departments. There are many good faculties like Ranjith M, Anish S, Gnanasekaran etc. Coming to the exams, we have two exams per semester. Mid sem and End sem. Mid sem will be of 50 marks while End sem will be of 100 marks. Grading is relative. In MTech thermal we had 18 students and everyone had passed. The lowest CGPA was 6.2 around.
