My course is bcom program and my fees is 17098 rupees. Bcom honours fees is also approximately 16000 rupees. Other courses fees also range approximately from 16000 to 22000 rupees. These fees include tution, admission as well as other compulsory charges. Hostel fees of college is not included in this. The fees for ST and SC are comparitively lower than General
Faculty members are really good, they have experience and teach with great enthusiasm. Teachers have gone through these phases and understand student's problems and try to help them out. We have ICA, continuous assesment and semester exams. Attendence also plays a valuable role as minimum attendence is required to sit for exam and you get marks for it as well.
The faculty at college is approachable and ratio is around 1:20, which allows personalised attention in the courses. The faculty i liked the most is my english teacher Tanya ma'am and also Jitender sir because they teach the concepts of english really well Their no such faculty I hate, each teacher we got is catering to the best. The course is well organised and students are aware of the exam structure. We have internals and 2 semester each college year.
Being in my first year, I haven't taken an internships yet. Although companies like deloitte, KPMG, etc regularly offer internships in area such as audit consulting ,marketing , operations and content development. Many of these comes with stipend making them attractive for students. The internships not only practical insights into industry but also helps students strength their resume and prepare for future carrer opportunities.
The annual festival is known as mosiac !! Overall experience has been good. It has provided a lot of freedom as I have currently shifted from my school life to this college life and coming to the campus life. It's very engaging and writing and faculty is also great of my department and the only area that is the basic amenities and facilities.
I have paid 17000 fees for an year and My course is for 4 years along with that we have examination fees 1500 every semester!! i did not got any scholarship !! I guess the amount of the fees is at a hike cause students are coming from all ober places and have to rent a pg
The course that I am pursuing is quite comphrehensive which teaches one a lot about microeconomics, mathematics and statistics. The books that we learn from are all written by well experienced professors from promiment universities such as Stanford etc. Howvever, there are subjects like Value Addition Course, Skill Enhancement Course and Ability Enahancement Course which deviate one's time from learning more about the core subjects, since these course are also given significant weightage.
The faculty members of the college, especially the economics department are amazing. They are intellectual and experienced individuals who know how and what they are teaching. The course structure of the Delhi University has recently changed where weightage has also been given to subjects such as VAC, SEC and AEC. Subjects like these dilute our course and what we are trying to learn. Other than that, the marking and exam pattern are well balanced.
If I were to rate my course curriculum for economics homours , I would say it is both relevant and fairly comprehensive. It is well structured and cover wide range of areas like statistics, mathematics and economics which give students a strong foundation to understand both theoretical and real life aspects.
I must say faculty is very helpful and good for economics honours and also of extra courses like GE etc . I don't have any idea about the exam that if it is easy or difficult as I am 1st year. But course itself is very tough so I think exam will be also difficult.

I CHOSE THIS COURSE AS IT IS ONE OF THE MOST PRISTIGIOUS COURSE THAT ONE CAN CHOOSE. ALSO IT'S DEMAND IN THE MARKET IS HIGH AND I BELIEVE IT TO PROVIDE ME WITH A SECURE FUTURE. WE HAVE 2 SEMESTERS IN OUR COURSE . I CAN'T REALLY SAY ABOUT THE DIFFICULTY LEVEL AS I HAD NOT HAVE MY EXAMS YET. THE COURSE HELPS ME UNDERSTAND THE REAL MARKET OF DEMAND AND SUPPLY BETTER.
in most classes the faculty ratio is 1:40 but in the digital marketing , sec , vac it can range to 1:100. The exams are conducted during december i.e end of semester. I like Harsh Sir he teaches Financial Accounting and Himanshu Sir for Management Principles. Chander Sir is also great he takes business law. The course curriculum is easy as of right now. First semester is a mix of 11th and 12th
Life at Ramjas is vibrant, fests like Mosaic are very popular held in april. The library is also very spacious and helpful with numerous course related books easily available. The classrooms can be better with more advanced techology. The extra curriculars offered are many and they are active aswell. The student portal and various clubs and socities make the experience better

the college is great till now . the palcement cell is quite active . in terms of infrastructure and campus facilities like sports tops the other north campus colleege . ramjas is a founding member od the delhi university . it has great alumni base too
the tuitton fee i paid i around 18000, there are several scholarships like PM vidyalaxmi scheme that are availale to EWS candidates. students can apply for govt scholarships. the tuition fee is already heavily subsidized and even if we compare it with other DU colleges, it is still affordable
the placements of ramjas college is average usually betwee 7 to 8 lakhs. it also depends on the student's course and whether they are building their skill set along their journey. i plan to give actuarial exams after the degree so that i can get better oppotunities
Ramjas College campus life is socially vibrant, with students from diverse backgrounds, making interactions lively and friendships easy to form. The college has a rich culture of societies, including debating, dramatics, music, dance, photography, entrepreneurship, and finance, plenty of opportunities for students to pursue interests beyond academics
The faculty is great, they have deep knowledge about the subject and they provide students space to create and build something new in their first year, my course is of 3 years and 4th year is optional, we have semester exams at the end of the semester and for internal marks teachers take class tests , viva , and assignments
Campus life is really cool, there are many canteens in our college we can enjoy a lot during our free time and can share stories with our seniors about everything. There are plenty of clubs in our college namely the E-Cell, mechatronics club, aerospace club, science club, mathematical society, coding club. There are also plenty of fests like the Sanskriti which happens during the month of April where we enjoy a lot for around 7 days. Then comes our tech fest srijan where there are plenty of events namely business plan and many more. For sports there are many competitions for football, cricket, badminton, etc namely the hexagon for football and u turn is organised for 1st year students only.
Internship opportunities start from 2nd year itself and most of the CSE students gets SDE roles in companies like Samsung,Google, Amazon, Facebook with a stipend of around 40k per month for a period of 3 months as our college doesn't allow 6 month internship rule like the IITs.The projects include like the AI-ML and some are interested in doing backend frontend for web development.
I feel that the studies in ramjas college are quite affordable as the fees for my course in 17098. Apart from this amount no extra amount has been charged from us and if compared to other private institutions you need to pay extra money for n number of facilities either be library, parking, labs, sports extra. This is the perks of being in a government college that you get best education at cheapest prices.
As north campus is hyped for it's good faculty I failed to find that in ramjas because I feel that many of the teachers don't know how to answer the doubts of the students. Though the student to teacher ratio is okay and also that teachers are friendly and supportive but they fell short on the teaching part.
The year wise fees which I paid is 17098 my peers with reservation is around 15000 I don't exactly know the accurate value but it is the estimated value . The yearly fees will be around 50000 for me and 45000 for my reserved peers. I am not aware of scholarship programs of my college currently so I have no say on that. Overall I feel my course is pretty affordable
The main area for improvement in the curriculum is the implementation of new SEC and VAC subjects specially removing subjects like swacch bharat which don't really add on any skills for us and are just there to clear the exams. And the bcom core subjects are also not as relevant as they should be . I think it can be improved
my curriculum is basically realted to the commerce world which helps a lot solving real world problems and the duration is also not so lengthy which is also a good factor as it makes me capable of doing something creative and meaningful in my life at an early age
faculty is very approachable and helpful to students the faculty to student ratio is also good and to 2 sections same set of faculty teaches there are 2 exams which happens at the end of semester known as end sems which are not that difficult to clear
Faculty to student ratio is very healthy with a ratio of 20:1. The faculties that i liked was of calculus and statistics. I did not liked the faculty of probability becouse of several other reasons. the exams were not too haed.
Deloitte, BCG, Zomato, etc has come for internship opportunities for students. Roles offered by them depends on their requirements and students capabilities. The average stipend is of around twenty thousand rupees.
Faculty members of the college are very supportive and practical, they believe to build our both theoritical and practical skills . They explain every topic with full efforts and a way through which students understand the topic from every prospect . They not just help us as teachers they are just like our friends who also guides us about our future planning. If I am asking course structure then it's excellent because it includes both theoritical and practical learning ,which gives us a edge in this competative market . Currently I am a first semester student so I am not much familiar with exam system but as per seniors review its also excellent and appreciating .
As a first semester student in Ramdas college my experience with campus life is fabulous. Right from the first day the environment friendly and welcoming. Every member of a part of Ramjas College invites me to become friendly weather it's about teachers or seniors. There are ot of seminars which are attended by me in college of different communities like of society's ,of learning sessions from which I can conclude a thing that Ramjas is full of exposure and learning. The college infrastructure and facilities are more than our expectations . There is a huge library with more than 1 lakh books, which fill us with full of energy to learn something new.
the placement cell of our college is very actice and is very good its one of the best placement cell in delhi university enterinng into placement cell of ramajs is kinda tough but not impossible it gives great oppertunities
the placement cell helps us crack internships at big 4 companies like ey etc ramajs provides us great internship oppertunities and helps build students confidence to deal with people ramajs provides suffecient exposure
The curriculum can be updated to compensate for the current workplace environment We can introduce AI tools to the course so that students are ready for the current job market In one year, 2 semester exams occur spaced with internal assessments given depending on each teacher, usually through the consensus of students
College placements are around 7.5 lpa average Placement cell sends opportunities regularly for students to consider for internships Many companies such as Deloitte, Byjus , etc visit Post college, i intend on exploring my options and a bit more and then take a wise decision about the direction further
The faculty-stuent ratio is 1:20. Teachers are amiable. The sessions are interaction-based and a free scape is ensured for questioning, discussion, doubt clarification and debate. Since I am pursuing History (Hons.), a comprehensive perspective of history faculty can be presented. Ramjas History department is rmuch reverred in the circuit of University of Delhi. Teachers ensure that syllabus and world beyond that is correlated which justifies the study of subject and in turn enhances the quality. Exams take place at the end-of-semester. An undergraduate student opting for 4-year degree will give 8 exams. The subjects are alloted in line with New Education Policy. Every semester the student studies 3 Disciplinary cores, 1 General Elective, 1 skill enhancement course, 1 value-added course and 1 regional language studied alternately with Environmental Science. Previous data shows that pass percentage has gone up. Students who fail to Qualify can reappear. The status quo dimishes the emphasis on core subjects for it is to be economised in line with other courses alot of which might not be relevant. Also the students tend to opt for subjects for qualifying purpose rather prospects of gainful understanding and employment which diminishes the course. However, this can be sorted if ithere is increased awareness and students take mindful decisions.
The college has ample placement opportunities from renowned companies. However, these are concentrated towards courses of commerce and finance. A student of any course ust also be active in internship which can be secured from eclectic backgrounds for this helps in separate future pursuits. I intend to be a diplomat, for which I will be appearing for UPSC. The college does not offer any placemnt for this particular course, however, with ample internship experience one can accelarate themselves professionally.
The first year is totally irrelevant.Things like carpentry being taught I agree it is interesting to learn various things like carpentry welding etc but why grade them by unecessary vivas and then a practical exam why why.I am from CSE branch where will I use this I was excited the first day thinking these will be really interesting to learn different types of work but then they gave a sheet and said read this and there will be viva in the 3rd class taking the fun out of it.Also i have an electrical subject I agree that computer is ran by electricity and it should be taught and is relevant to some extent but why making its lab too why will I arrange AC DC corciuts while in a software job.The real world application is just not there just teaching theory without telling its applications.
