Since I was young, I've witnessed my father's business firm working on a several projects with the potential to revolutionize renewable energy technology. I remember this one instance of a project, where the team was making good progress with their technical expertise, but they start facing challenges in effectively coordinating and communicating among themselves. Since this was leading to decrease in overall efficiency, my father stepped up and recognized the importance of integrating engineering management principles into the team's approach to ensure the success of this ambitious endeavor. This sparked my interest in the combination of technology and management, motivating me to pursue a B.Tech in Industrial Engineering and Management at Bangalore Institute of Technology.

During my undergraduate studies, I had the opportunity to delve into a wide range of subjects, including Statistics, Managerial Economics, and Technology Management. Through these courses, I developed a strong foundation in management and technological principles, analytical thinking, and critical reasoning skills, which I believe will serve as a solid base for my advanced studies at Cornell University. Apart from this, I was also in-charge of a research project focussing on the assessment of supply chains and freight logistics networks in China, India, and USA. I managed the data collection process, obtaining data from diverse sources like government reports, industry databases, and stakeholder interviews. I ensured data accuracy and reliability while coordinating the team's analysis and interpretation. Additionally, I conducted regular meetings to discuss progress, address challenges, and refine research methodologies.

I am interested in pursuing an MEng in Engineering Management at Cornell University due to the numerous exceptional opportunities it offers.
