Cornell University is a renowned independent, private, research institute founded in 1865 by Ezra Cornell and Andrew Dickson White. The school is also in the record as the institution to award the world's first degree in journalism, the United States' first degree in veterinary medicine, and the first doctorate in industrial and electrical engineering. It’s counted among the top universities in the USA for offering comprehensive education to students.

Like any other Ivy League university, getting admission in Cornell Universty is highly competitive, and even the university is quite selective in choosing students. About 10% of undergraduate applicants are admitted each year out of thousands of applications. The MBA Class of 2021 received 282 enrolments from 30 countries, where women make up 35% of the total, and 32% are international students.

On the other hand, the Freshmen (UG) Class 2023 has received more than 49,000 applications, out of which 3,218 students sent their acceptance. Early Decision application deadline is November 1. If admitted under this process, you will be required to withdraw any applications sent to other schools/universities and send your enrollment deposit to Cornell by early-January.

Cornell is rigid with its eligibility requirements, students need to submit TOEFL score of 100 (internet based) and 600 (paper based). For UG aspirants applying for 2021 intake, the university has suspended SAT/ACT requirements. For MBA at Cornell University, GMAT score between 60 and 740 with a comparable GRE score. Work experience is not required, but the class average is usually two to five years of professional experience

The curriculum is very practical oriented, less statistical/probability courses and good specialisation options are offered. And lastly, it's an Ivy League University.

    Exams :

For applying to a master's degree, first of all, you will need to fill out an application form ($105), which contains your past academic details - UG grades/transcripts, standardised test scores, research paper (if any). Other than that you will also need to submit your resume, SOP, details about your past work experience, arrange your LORs (3 required) and a technical writing sample (5000 words). There is no minimum score requirement for GRE, but they do have for TOEFL (L-15, W-20, R-20, S-22) and for IELTS - 7.0 My scores: GRE - 303 (V-141, Q-162, AWA-3.5), TOEFL - 103/120

I did my Bachelors in management and I wanted to pursue a higher degree so, I went to a Consulting agency in Mumbai and they recommended me about this university. I was quite impressed with the curriculum of this university and decided to take admission here. I was required to pay an application fee of $105 and submit a letter of recommendation.

    Course Curriculum :

Through my course, I was taught about management in an advanced way. I was taught everything more practical based than theoretical. I was taught about the dynamic environment of the business and the ways to handle it.

I began studying for language proficiency tests after finishing high school in order to gain entry to international universities. Also, I applied here as I knew that this college will be the best for my career and the faculty department here are extremely supportive. I applied to a number of universities and was accepted by this one. The cost of my online application was $105. Different rounds of selection was there to assess my skills.

    Course Curriculum :

My course had given me a growing number of ways to use computers to solve problems. I was able to program my own mobile application after finishing a portion of my course. I gained a strong base of computer science and engineering concepts, as well as how to use them in my real-world programming practice, here.

I picked this University because it is a world-class institution with a national reputation and The value of it's degree is very high in the placement field. I already had decent grades, so I took a gamble and applied here through the online application form, paying a $105. application fee. My high school score was also checked by them.

    Course Curriculum :

It's a four-year degree with a co-op option. The curriculum focused primarily on strategic thought, teamwork, leadership, and information technology skills that are required to succeed in our careers. All of this, and strong links to big state, global, and foreign finance companies, offered us an edge over competitors in the job market.
