  • Exeter has 3 campuses in Exeter (Streatham and St Luke's) and Cornwall (Penryn). I study Business Analytics at Streatham, the main campus, where I can enjoy the gardens, woodland and green open spaces.
  • The Students' Guild organises more than 200 societies, ranging from cultural and academic societies to hobbies and volunteering societies. I believe the business, finance and data oriented societies are very helpful for networking and skill development as a Business School student.
  • There's always something happening on Campus, from Freshers' Week to society socials, careers' fairs and guest lectures, cultural events and end-of-year balls.
  • There are quiet study areas, computer rooms, and long hours of opening at the Forum Library and the Research Commons, as well as group rooms. The Internet journals and databases as well as the analytical tools have been very useful for my work.
  • Sport is a staple part of Exeter's heritage. Modern sports park (gym, fitness classes, indoor and outdoor courts, swimming pool, playing fields) and dozens of sports clubs for each level. Campus life is rich, full and friendly at Exeter. It strikes a great balance between academics, social life and wellbeing.

  • There are a lot of clubs and activities. It is in south west so you can do a lot of water sports. It's like Goa for British people.

  • The university has three campuses—Streatham and St Luke's in Exeter, and Penryn in Cornwall. It offers over 300 student clubs and societies covering sports, culture, volunteering, academic interests, music, and entrepreneurship, along with numerous events, workshops, and extracurricular activities throughout the year. Students also have access to outstanding sports facilities, fitness centres, sports clubs, and recreational activities, creating a well-rounded and supportive learning environment.

  • I chose to stay in university-managed accommodation, as it is convenient and well-suited for international students. I lived in an en-suite room at Lafrowda (Block S) on Streatham Campus, which was within walking distance of the Forum and my classes. I secured the accommodation through the University of Exeter's accommodation portal.
  • The rent was approximately £183 per week (around £790–£800 per month). The accommodation included a private bedroom and bathroom, shared kitchen facilities, Wi-Fi, utility bills, laundry facilities, and 24-hour support/security, providing a comfortable and safe living environment.

  • There are many clubs, for example Indian community club, every year. One can contest in the election if one wants to be a chairman. There will be many campus celebrations as well, like Diwali, Halloween, Christmas, etc.

  • Students can apply for on-campus dorms or private dorms. En suite flats cost a lot, shared apartments are fairly cheaper. Monthly cost would be around £1200-2000

  • Everything is good. However, you struggle to find time between your studies, part-time and social life. Managing everything in a balanced way is the key.

  • University Accommodation or any other accommodation outside the university is really good. However, universities are relatively expensive compared to other institutions. You are looking at £ 500- £ 750 a month.

  • It was very inclusive and diverse. There is a sports centre and the library is open 24/7, which was the best part about the university.

  • I was in student accommodation, and it was around 500-600 pounds back then. I had a studio to myself. Other than this, there is a common room that everyone can use.

  • It was the best campus experience at the University of Exeter. It was full of energy and warmth. There used to be always some or the other cultural festivals organized and also there used to be musical nights .
  • There also used to be charity events. There were creative clubs organized and it was very easy to get into them for academics or just for fun . The Student’s Guild did an amazing job of bringing all the students together in a good way and it was best for meeting people from all over the world and also they made us feel a part of the community.
