Likes
- They are very knowledgeable, all of them having a good amount of industry experience and having excelled in their respective fields.
- Campus has over 30 active clubs with interest such as art, photography, development, dance, singing, competitive coding, finance, etc.
- The hostel is pretty well equipped with all the basic needs and amenities.
Dislikes
- I am doing in btech in electroinics .you may have heard that electronics is the toughest of all eningeering branches so it is very difficult and bits goa has very harsh grading which makes it more diificukt
- Bad grading in math courses and difficult courses in general as compared to other branches
- The grading is too difficult. the relative grading here is a little bit wierd. the sole power of grading lies in the hands of ic(instructor in charge). if he doesn't feel like it he can reduce the average grade.

Placement Experience:
The placements are decent but not this year, due to recession it's tougher, I don't plan on getting a job immediately after college, I think I'll go for mastets and then get a job after that. It'll be better post masters.

- Very high fees makes it unaffordable for some very high minds
- Grading system is very difficult and average CG's are low
- there's not much to dislike about bits goa its a really good place
Placement Experience:
So Students are exposed to Summer Internships from their 5th semester where they can also get Ppo's
While the placement cycle is different from all colleges students can only sit in one semester of the two in the fourth year, and they get to chose which semester they want to their placement to be in, and the other semester they have to go for the Practice School, which is sort of like a summer internship and is compulsory
Companies include Google, DeShaw, Sprinklr, Schlumberger, JSW, Viacom, BCG, Jpmc, Zs associated...and is a very long list mostly they take 5-10 students for each company
Highest Package offered was 80Lpa by Sprinklr and average package is 21Lpa for all branches and 15lpa for mechanical engineering and 27lpa for Cse
more than 85% students sitting in placement get placed
I want to sit for non core placements and then consider MBA or business

- Chill college with a very beautiful campus and the junior senior interaction is also good here.
- Campus life is filled with fun and academics , its a blend of both in perfect proportions
- Infrastructure here is so good and massive

- There is no swimming pool also its raining always

Placement Experience:
From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Top companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft visit our campus. Im not aware of the no of offers made but the number is pretty high. Avg Package for CSE is around 25LPA, almost 81% placed this year. My plan is to start a start up after getting my degree

- No reservation, only merit is celebrated unlike government colleges.
- Huge and beautiful campus with all facilities
- Good female to male ratio 😜, and good placements.
Dislikes
- Not at the moment anything cuz there is no attendance aswell...
- The students activites are 1km far and no cycles are allowed as well

Companies fluctuate depending on recession and other factors.
The avg package is 26-30 lpa. highest one was 54 lpa as far as I remember .

- There is no reservation in our college which is really great.
- There is 0% percent attendace policy which provides good flexibility.
- The professor are really good which is a really good plus point.
Dislikes
- The grading in the college is really strict.
- The fees is really very high which is one of the highest in India.
- The campus is located on the outskirts of the city which is a bit of inconvenience.
Placement Experience:
Single degree students are eligible in 7th semester and dual degree students are eligible in 9th semester for sitting in the placements. All the big companies including FAANG/MAANG companies visit here. Highest package around 60LPA and average around 18LPA. Around 70% students placed recently. Sitting for placements after degree.

- Lush green campus of 200 acres it is beuatiful
- Faculties they all are highly experienced

- Competion has everyone here is good in academics
- It is in goa so you spend alot of money here

Placements are really good as the average placement package is 20 lakhs which is more than a lot of enigneering colleges.Also every big mncs come in campus for placements like Google, microsoft, facebook

- zero percent attendance has to be the best thing, you don't have to really care about maintaining a attendence unlike other colleges
- placement and intersnship opportunities - practice school system at bits allows every student to get a internship in company
- beautiful and clean campus - Bits Goa has one of the most beautiful campus of the country and its kept pretty maintained by 100s of workers working everyday
Dislikes
- Huge Fees is an increasingly growing problem here though management is taking some actions but still 30+ lakhs for a bachelors degree is pretty high
- hectic academic structure- academic structure every semester contains 7-8 courses and continuous evaluation makes course curriculum pretty hectic
- Bad Grading - Bits has relative grading system and Goa campus is especially famous for Bad Grading therefore getting a high cgpa becomes increasingly difficult
Placement Experience:
Placements is one of feature of choosing Bits over other colleges. All Major companies in all engineering fields visit to recruit students. Major Placement of student happens through on campus interviews, pre-placement offers in practice school-2 and summer internships

Placement Experience:
The placement is great. The average package is 30 lacs and the median is 30 lacs too.
We have Practice School 1 and Practice School 2 which are basically internships, after 2nd and 3rd year respectively.

- There are no seats reserved for anyone that ensures that you are surrounded by people who have made it there only based on merit.
- The competition level even after entering the campus is rigorous and keeps you on your toes to study continuously and perform well in your exams
- The placement statistics are increasing though should have been hit by the COVID wave. It ensures us students that we will have a promising career after we graduate from here.
Dislikes
- The grading system is a bit stricter when compared to other colleges making it hard to score a good grade with the same amount of hard work you will put in somewhere else.
Placement Experience:
Campus placements are extremely good with CS placements always having an edge above others. Currently around 20lpa is the average package considering all the branches and campuses. Highest package goes till around 65-70 lpa.

- The peer group here is incredible. Bits also has something called practice schools. They provide real time experience of work life after 2-2(2nd year second sem).
- The coding culture in bits goa is the best. Pre COVID our campus has around 20 to 21 GSoC selections. This year we have 10 of them.
- Goa has tuff grading. Average grade here is a c which is 6
Dislikes
- The grading is too difficult. The relative grading here is a little bit wierd. The sole power of grading lies in the hands of IC(instructor in charge). If he doesn't feel like it he can reduce the average grade.
- Its hard to compete with peers as they are on the same level as you thanks to the no reservation policy in bits.
Placement Experience:
The campus placements is pretty decent. You get ps1 and PS2 for internships and experience. You also get SIPs that is summer internship programme where the company hires interns. The chances of getting pre placement offer is high in sips. The average package is around 17 to 18 lakhs for the whole batch. Non core placements is also done by students apart from core and making start ups
