NSUT Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

My interest led me to perceive this course and the evergreens of the branch is also a main factor. The curriculum helps us to make maps for the real world. The college's placement record for this specific branch is not that good as compared to other branches so this needs to be improved.

Course curriculum is tough for my branch. As my branch is electronics and communication engineering ,so first two years we are taught electronics subjects and some ai and ml subjects and the next two years we are taught communication and ai and ml subjects.there are class tests,internals and externals practicals as well as mid sem and end sem exams.

The placements here at NSUT are remarkaby excellent , They are known because a lot of great companies visit the main campus for placements like Microsoft , Amazon , Sprinklr , JP morgan , Morgan Stanley etc

From 7th semester students become eligible for placements. Texas instruments, Qualcomm, samsung are some on the companies that visit our college. The average package for ECE branch was around 14 lpa this year and median was around 15 lpa. 60% students were placed only. The average package for tech related branches was around 16lpa and around 65% students were placed from these branches.

the curriculum here is outdates and does not align with the current industry level practical knowledge , for example in my lab for edc subject which is electronic devices , they teach us about the working of ic chips whic are outdates and last used in 2000s , the curriculum needs a revision

For Campus Placements you become elligible after - 6th sem ALL top tier companies visit our campus including FAANG companies Highest even package grabbed by a student was 1.25 cr and was an international offer around 90% students gets placed every year

From past two years, due to recession the placement opportunities for tech are declining rapidly. But the non tech opportunities are good enough and you can get one easily. In the year 2023-24, placed students were only 55% and In year 2022-23 , it was 85% Before that , it was 100%

The placaments are the attracting point of netaji subhash university of technology as they provide world class placements with international placements and alse provide internships for the students in 2nd year

Placements are discussed already above, but I'll discuss more about internship here. It generally starts with the end of 4th semester. Companies starts visiting college campus, with students getting updates with their registered email ids after registering with TNP cell. Almost every company coming oncampus here is for tech roles( sde/sre/devops/hardware/embedded/analyst engineers), so I'll stick to it. Students with >=7 CGPA will be allowed to most of the companies atleast for resume screening, but I would highly suggest to maintain 7.5+ or 8+ for very very high chances of getting atleast OAs. Then its upto you who prepared for job, give your best, be friendly with company members, TNP, POCs. Prepare well for soft skills and core subjects.

placements are very nice ,students secure job offers at top companies actross various sectors . many nsut alumni have excelled in their respective field and have made significant contributions to various industries
