Can you provide details about the entrance exams accepted for undergraduate admissions at NIT Rourkela?

NIT Rourkela accepts National Level Entrance Examinations for providing admission to undergraduate courses. Given below are the names of the courses alongwith the entrance examinations respectively:

  • B.Tech.- JEE Mains 
  • B.Tech. + M.Tech.- JEE Mains
  • B.Sc. + M.Sc.- JEE Mains 
  • B.Tech. Lateral- LEET Examination

After qualifying the examination, the qualified are called for counselling round process namely JoSAA.

The selection to NIT Rourkela MA program is strictly based on the academic merit in the qualifying degree. Candidates doesn't need to appear for any entrance exam for admission to MA program.
