I choose this college because it is the Assam's 2nd and Upper Assam's 1st college. Most importantly Jagannath Barooah College is NAAC A grade recognize college. 2ndly Jagannath Barooah College is a autonomous college and in our home district.

Remarks:
It is prestigious and is one of the top colleges in assam having all the programs such as engineering, information technology and bachelor degree in it. Moreover I didn't want to go abroad for bachelor degree as I'm not exposed to foreign cultures before.

Jagannath Barooah College is in our home district. 2ndly Jagannath Barooah College is one of the top college's of Assam. Thirdly NAAC gave J. B. College A grade. The teaching quality of our college is very good. So that I got admission in this college.

Placement Experience:
Our college has an excellent job opportunity. Every year many students of our college get jobs in many companies in through the job fairs that held in our college annually. As a fresher, I don't know the names of the companies. Also, our students have excellent performance in the entrance exams of various universities for higher education.

The placement and job opportunity for our college are excellent. Our college organises a job fair annually. Many famous companies like Honda Motors, Tata, Hindustan Livers, many Tea companies come and hire talented JBians for their companies. The placement rank for higher studies in Assam's top university's J. B. College in top 3.

Jagannath Barooah College is a prestigious college of Assam and in 2016, this college become autonomous. Our college 2nd oldest college of Assam and Upper Assam's first college. Base of our college's performance NAAC recognize our college as A grade. So that I got admission in J. B. College.

J. B. College organises a job fair annually. Every year many students hired by many famous companies and they get huge salary package. If you asked me one of the companies names I can say TCS where JBians has excellent performance rate.

During the first year, the students of all branches will have a common classroom for all subjects. It is from the 3rd semester that you will be well acquainted with respective branches. The teachers are very dedicated and cooperative and the classes are held regularly.
Alongside academics, you would be left with enough time to excel through various extra-curricular activities. The annual tech fest “Auxesis” is held every odd semester and the University Week is held every even semester. The workload becomes exhausting during these semesters.
The campus is serene and splendid. The greenery everywhere brings out the best of the serene beauty and creates an enthusiastic environment for studying. Overall, your college time here would be terrific.
Everyone has their own individual perspective and opinions thus; your experience might be very much different and better too.
