- Scholarship: this college have really great facility of scholarships for needy people.
- Faculty to student ratio is great and small strength class provide a great personalized experience and teaching to students .
- The college fest is a perfect great opportunity to learn and grow.

- I think that they lag in their way of teaching.
- Hostel condition especially for the first year hostel which is provided that is shivalik hostel is worst
- Staff is not so good. they take extra classes and non of the things they explain are clear

The placements of my college are really great . The average package for computer science and engineering is about 19 laks per annum. Big companies like Microsoft come to hire students from our college.highest package for 2023 was 80 LPA.

- The first hand experience in extra curricular and management of big events is huge, along with your academic you have a scope of going above and beyond in clubs and activities.
- Major and minor project in 3rd and 4th year helps us also focus on the practical engineering team experience and help us cultivate unity and innovation.
- Chandigarh, its a place in itself which speaks for itself in terms of the culture, resources and environment.
Dislikes
- Traditional way of teaching would be one, as the curriculum of subject is quite old.
- Culture of technology is abit less people are more inclined towards management consulting
- Research work or scope is very limited though we have some laboratories but its not that great.
Placement Experience:
Campus placement for circuit branch is quite good
Almost 80% gets placement and even internship also in 3rd year.
People also opt for masters , cat , gmat etc as per their career aspirations , stuent opt for different things

- The crowd is brilliant for circuital branches and seniors are helpful and ready to support always. There is market in pec of stationery,juices,fruits,fast food as well as meals.There is Nescafe canteen and one more campus cafe providing coffees drink
- Many different clubs and socities including technical and cultural. Strong Alumni network spreading all over world. Many grounds like of cricket,football also there is gym library swimming pool, basketball court, volleyball court,Table tennis court.
- Placements are good provided you do hard work.Good course like communication which improves your communication skill and remove stage fear. Internships and PPOs are good . Most reputed college in North India is Punjab engineering college, Chandigarh.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is very poor as this college is not funded by central government. 1st year teachers are boring. You just have to do everything by yourself. Bad crowd in non circuital branches
- Drugs and beer vines are common. No AC in non circuital branches. Lack of funding. Like others college they just follow old curriculum.
- Hostels condition are not good. Hostel fees are also high. Wifi just disconnects always . Boys to girls ratio are poor like In cse its 1:10 and little good from this in other branches
Placement Experience:
For campus placement students can involve in 7th semester also many students got their PPOs in 6th semester as well. There are many reputed companies visited in PEC like Apple, Microsoft,Adobe,JP Morgan,Goldman Sachs,Amazon etc.Highest package this year was around 58LPA on-campus while average of all branch turns into around 14.33LPA.Overall more than 50 percent students got placed in all batch while around 80 percent placed in CSE due to recession. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree or during my 4th year.

- Campus placements are very good and college have good reputation
- Located in a big city so you'll get exposure of the outer world
- Professors are mostly from phd department and they are very chill and friendly
Dislikes
- Very poor infrastructure as the college was built in 1952
- Non ac classrooms so in summers it becomes hard to even sit in the classrooms
- Very poor hostels .small dirty room with no ac or coolers
Placement Experience:
College offers good placemats to all alumi of the college. So I'll get a placement obv . But if luck goes bag then i might apply for software developing complanies for gettin a job or i migjt continue my higher stidies mtech and phd and then preoare for a govt. Job

- Placements and internship opportunities are great
- Big playgrounds to play and PECFEST is pretty amazing
- The teachers are pretty cooperative and patient

- I didn’t like the infrastructure of the college
- Hostels are not good, they are old and not renovated
- College campus size is less 150 acre less shops in market
Placement Experience:
In third year students become eligible for internship opportunities and in the fourth year they are eligible for on campus opportunities. Internship is done in 6th semester of the college. Highest package last year was 55 lakh.

- well i liked the college fest a lot. it was quite better than nearby engineering colleges
- the sports culture is very good. facilities for all sports are available. even there is a gym here and a swimming pool
- the fact that the college has been established in the year 1921. so the college is very famous and has good name in the society
Dislikes
- the infrastructure of the college is very poor as it is very old
- the library service is only from 9am to 8 pm . people who want to study at night cannot avail the service of the library
- the auditorium is quite small and accommodates very less people and even the chairs speaker quality and mics are not in good condition
Placement Experience:
laast year was recession period so honestly the placements were not really good but overall till now the placements especially for the cse people has been quite good. like 70 percent of the people are mostly placed on campus.

- Long class durations around 25hours per week
Placement Experience:
The placement opportunities from the college are good renowned companies like BMW JP Morgan Mechenzi American Express come for placements .Earlier more Big MNCs came but are now shifting towards other colleges due to depleting rank of the college

- The placement and internships are very well systemised and the placement cell is very responsive and active
- The faculty is very knowledgable and some professors are renowned in their fields.
- Co-curricular activities and clubs are very diverse and active. There are many things to explore and enjoy

- The infrastructure in some departments is very old and not maintained.
- The wifi services in some buildings is not good enough or functional
Placement Experience:
The placements are really good. You can see many renowned MNCs and companies coming here for placements for example Amex, JP Morgan, Microsoft, etc. The placement cycle starts in the 7th semester. The average package is around 8lpa.

- Good extra curricular opportunities, thus facilitating the development of a well rounded personality
- Decent exposure to opportunities in different sectors
- Vast alumni network, as it is a very established college

- Sub par infrastructure, most classrooms and labs
- Bad student to faculty ratio, leads to professors often teaching the subject which is not their native subject
- Degrading placement records over the past couple of years
Placement Experience:
Got a good oppurtunity for my internship at Mckinsey and company, but the PPO was revoked and then good oppurtunities werent provide for my placement.
50% student were places this year, Last year this was around 80%
