- I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
- Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
- Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.
Dislikes
- Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
- It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
- It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

- The way of teachings of all the teachers are coomendable
- There are lot of oppurtunities for the students.
Placement Experience:
Being a fresher i dont have a lot idea about placements,but for our dept the no of offers made are pretty
good and most of our seniors have got plent good placements recently. I might be doing a startup

- Campus area is around 100 acres with all basic facilities available inside the campus.
- Learning facilities are excellent here with everlasting opportunities for the students.
- Course curriculum is good for my course with endless opportunities.
Dislikes
- Only dislike is quality of infrastructure with us improving every year but at slow pace.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Course curriculum for biomedical engineering opens a wide range of opportunities for both research and jobs. It makes students industry ready gives them real life exposure how things actually work. There are endless opportunities in this field, although there are fewer opportunities in India for in foreign countries it is an expanding field.

- Good interaction with senior, so they guide you throughout your course.
- Abundant space for exploring yourself like hobbies
- Good environment of clubs and committees.
Dislikes
- Very poor professors including the head of departments
- Very less focus on applied studies. More focus on theory studies
- Difficult to maintain good SPI as professors do not give deserving marks
Placement Experience:
From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Renowned companies such as Google, flipkart, Amazon, samsung etc hire during placement season. Highest package is offered by Google that is 50LPA. Average package is around 16-18LPA for computer science.

- In view of placement quite a good college,specially for top branches like cs ,it ,electricals .
- Not much attendance criteria,there is 75% attendnce criteria but still noone has given R grade for that,Teachers are helpfull in that case
- Classes are not hectic, atleast for my branch
Dislikes
- Except main building, infrastructure is not much developed
- Lot of restrictions,hostel timing is only till 9pm.Even during events after the events they just don't give any chance to even take photos ,specially when you are with some girl
- For my branch the placement in core is 0, and overall 30% placement.

Students become eligible for campus placement from 6 semester onwards, a lot of companies visites but it depends on your branch
For my branch highest package is around 15lakh ad lowest is 6 lakh
Only 30% from my branch got placed last year.
Only degree is not going to help so I am learning from external sources rather thn college for the placements

- Campus is good, crowd here is engaging. There are many fascinating and exciting things to do in college.
- Campus is well connected with other major cities of Chhattisgarh.
- All the basic facilities are available in the College.

- Only dislike is the infrastructure which is improving year by year.
- Course I find is somewhat outdated and need to be updated.

Curriculum is relevant but somewhat outdated. It is industry oriented and we'll structured, only thing is that it needs to be updated to latest. Teaching methods are good here. Curriculum is outdated but inclines towards real world applications.

- Course curriculum is excellent, faculty is good. Campus is lushgreen and well connected.
- All the basic facilities are available inside the campus.
- Labs are well equipped with all relevant instruments.
Dislikes
- One of the demerits of the college is poor infrastructure.
- Irrelevant restrictions are there in college.
- Infrastructure is improving year by year and new buildings are being constructed

Course curriculum is highly relevant , industry oriented. It makes students future ready for both non core and core jobs. There are 2 semesters per year with mid sems and end sem exams. Moderate difficulty is there.

- The aspects of college i liked are the calmness, there is not much outside disturbence and very peacuful inside hostels and campus. Maybe if they plant more plants and make it more green then i think it would be nice.
- The campus life for me was pretty chill, go to classes in the morning , come back to hostel eat food or order online and eat or boil some eggs and go back to classes and go to canteen or amul canteen to get some snacks like ice cream.
- The teaching methods are modern, they teach with a projector and the faculty are very helpful. We can contact them offline and online and they would be happy to help. Very supportive faculty.
Dislikes
- I disliked the inital semesters of college , maybe because there was too much stress on these semester exams and getting to know everyone including all the seniors, joining clubs , all these happened very fast and randomly.
- Also in 1st year there was only cricket ground and basketball gorund but now volleyabll and a sports complex building was built so now its nice.
- In summer students have to walk in ground to reach classes from hostel which is very exhausting for some, like directly under sun , would be nice if more trees are grown on the side path.
Placement Experience:
Placements this year in our college went pretty well. With the highest package beeing 58lakhs in DE SHAW company and 54 lakhs in Google, and soo many high packages. People got into companies like google, amazon, optum, arcesium, texas instruments ,DBOI , Global Hitachi, ZS Associates, Piramal Finance, UKG, Hugoslave Atlas, Tekion, Pinelabs, VISA, SIXT, and so many more companies. Good percentage of people got placed ,like the people who wanted to go for placements were able to get it, people who wanted to do higher studies are preparing for it, some want to go abroad, some wrote GATE and they want to do Mtech, percentage of students getting placed in cse branch would be 85%, in IT department it maybe higher, and in other branches also they got placed so overall very good. Plans after getting a degree from a well known and top tier institute like this would be really good for resume and if they want to do any other jobs then i feel like it will be helpful.

- The fests which were conducted were good and we enjoyed them a lot
- The college atmosphere is also good as it is filled with so many trees with more environment
- As there is no ragging in college it is free to interact with all the seniors
Dislikes
- There is no proper requirement for students to get hostels
- The faculty is also not much good and everyone are teaching in Hindi so some people face problem with language
- There is no particular schedule for the holidays

As the society behind us in the era of artificial intelligence so I decided to choose computer science and engineering. As it is more interesting and one of the best and needed branch in btech. It helps us to develop the society.

- we have only 4 months per sem and only one midsem and one end sem
- College fests and sports in which I also participated in many.
- It has a good record for placements for our branch.
Dislikes
- This college has poor infrastructure and small CPUs.
- Low hostel seats and you should secure a good cpi according to your category to get hostel
Placement Experience:
In my college,I can say that my branch has a good record of placements.We have an average package of 18lpa and highest of 54lpa.Placement percentage is also high for our branch.I didn't think about what to do after degree yet.

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-
- Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.
- Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.
Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and
idea-sharing with them is negligible.
- Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.
- Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.
- Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.
- Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.
Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
