- I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
- Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
- Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.
Dislikes
- Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
- It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
- It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

Placement Experience:
As per campus the basic thing is maintaining CPI (CGPA) is very important. The college provides good enough placement opportunities but you need to be atleast eligible for it.
Maintain good CPI and placements won't be such a big issue.

- Campus is also small and hectic schedule of classes
- Library is a bit small and no proper facility of wifi
Placement Experience:
Campus placements are good.Training and placement cell of our college brings many companies to our college which would be helpful to students.Almost all will be getting placements .Average package of CSE is 14LPA.

- The faculty is also good and ragging is also not allowed and fears are also good
- Fests in feb month are the best and seniors help in many things

- Hostel food because no non veg in hostel food
- At least egg is also not provided in hostel food
- Campus is also a bit small and library is not tht big
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course I was pursuing is B tech information Technology branch and the timings are 9 to 1 and for 2 days I have labs each 1hour and my branch has best faculty and the placements wise the campus is good

- The seniors are good here, no ragging is performed.
- The fest is good here , we have Shruti , Avartan , Eclectica and avinaya ..

- The infrastructure and buliding is not good ..
- The hostel availability is fewer here ..
- Need more sports ground , the sports ground is older now , need for improvement...
Placement Experience:
1 ) the 7 semester students get ready for placement and then after the placement you will have to prepare for final exam
2) the companies are HCL , samsung, Amazon, Infosys , reliance , adani group etc..
3) the highest package are about 50 to 55 lpa and average package is about 10 to 12 lpa..
4) About 80 percent students get placed but due to recession the placement is decreased by 50 percent..
5) preparing for the master

- Loaction is best all market and showroom are nearby..there is a chaupati near the campus..you can eat all type of street food there with minimal cost..which best thing of our college
- Central garden..for couples and lovers it is best place to chill and hang out
- Academics is not the best but quite decent gor placement
Dislikes
- Campus size ..it is small to explore....
- Hostel allocation..they provide only 1400 seats for boys but there are 3000 boys in college
- Due to of small campus size there is lack of ground which results in bad sports culture

As we are studying in top college of India ... National institute of technology raipur..we are hoping of an high salary job ..at the same time college is giving an average package of 12 lpa which is quite decent i my branch it is 14 lpa

The placements are well enough many company visit in our campus with a good placement offer and nearly every student get placed with good package The average and median package of the college is also remarkable

- The placement here is good . Around 80 percent got placed this year which an avg. Pakage of 12 lakh
- Locality of this college is good like railway , swimming pool , gym ,shopping mall, int. library , auditorium etc are very close to our college
- This college id near to my hometown bilaspur , so I can visit my home too often on holidays.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure here is very bad . This campus of college isn't suitable for 4000 students studying here .
- The faculties or quality of equipment are very poor . These needs to have some proper checkups
- Some annual events are not properly held due to overlapping with exam curriculum
Placement Experience:
The placement in our college is pretty good . Many companies visits our campus for placement. Average placement of out college is around 12 lakh annually . Around 80 percent of the students get played this year in which 3 students get placed with 50lakh+ pakage which is pretty good . My plans after degree is to get placed or to find a government job which is suitable for me . Thank you

Placement Experience:
Placement in our college are good or above average. It average CTC is about 10 lpa. And avg CTC of CSE and IT is 17-18 lpa . But if you are from lower branch then it's not much good in core placement. You can also apply for off campus placement.

- I liked the great coding culture of college
- Competetive peers you get to learn from.
- Help and guidance from seniors and faculties
Dislikes
- There is not much interaction between the peers
- Some faculties trouble a lot for low attendance
- Less industrial exposure due to less trips
Placement Experience:
From 3rd sem , you become elegible for paid internships and ppos. Highest package offered lies between 50-60lakhs with average ranging between 15 lakhs. 70% students get placed. Core branches students may have a plan to do higher studies after degree

- Security is good and overall our college is secure

- College campus is small. There is no proper hostel facility for all students
- Half of the students have to live outside the campus.

Placement started from 6th semester. Adani, L&T, Tata, etc. No of companies visited is approx 200.
Lowest placement is 6 lakh and highest is 55 lakhs. About 70% students get placed. I would like to give gate exams after btech degree

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-
- Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.
- Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.
Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and
idea-sharing with them is negligible.
- Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.
- Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.
- Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.
- Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.
Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
