- I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
- Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
- Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.
Dislikes
- Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
- It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
- It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

I will rate my college 7 out of 10 in terms of course curriculum as new education policy not applied this year in our nit but in some other colleges like mnnit allahabad have new education policy in there course

- The environment here is all academic and students are all interested in coding and various other activities which provides us to learn more and new .
- The clubs here gives us the opportunity to express and meet new friends which create a good communication skills help in placement
- Professor's here are highly skilled and qualified in there field and you can always ask anything related to your carrier which acts like a guide for you in your carrier.
Dislikes
- The hostel facility is not provided to all the students which is sometimes hectic
- Campus is small as compared to other colleges which does not give full exposure
- Lack of sports facilities which is not provided as compare to the other NIT
Placement Experience:
The placement here in college is good for all the branches. The computer science average CTC is 18 lakhs and is good the average package for the college is 12 lakhs per annum my branch mining is having a average of 11 lakhs for core it is a very good package also gate package. The percentage this year is reduced due to recession which is faced by all the colleges but still it is 78 percent. If you have good cpi then it will be easy for you to get placement offers and sit in the campus placement. My plan is too prepare for gate exam and get into coal India which have a CTC of 16 lakhs and a government job . The highest package this year is 50 lakhs which is given by Adobe and also 36 lakhs is given to 8 students and many more good packages . Companies like deshaw, Adobe , adani, tata , Accenture, Amazon visit the campus . The number of companies visited is around 100

- Infrastructure because there has limited hostel mca student not allow to take hostel so our hostel life is spoil
- Faculty not much supportive and placement of mca not good
Course Curriculum Overview:
Mca is not popular course but in nit Raipur BTech take more opportunity as compared to mca.in nit Raipur mca placement is not good and mca faculty not much supportive in nit Raipur and not all company allow mca students sitting in placement majorly companies come to take btech students only.

- I was liked much in this college is the placements.Here the placement percentage is about 97%.All most all the students are getting placed with a decent package.
- The another thing I liked in this college is about environment and locality if this college. The college is placed in a good environment
- The third thing I liked is the teaching .All the professors are well trained and experienced ones .They can train u easily.
Dislikes
- The thing I mostly disliked is about the hostel facility.There are very less hostle facilities about 70% of students has to stay in the rented rooms.
- The 2nd thing I disliked is about the campus size.it is of just 100 acres.The grounds and gardens are not big as expected.
- The last thing was about the noise. This is placed near to railway station.The train noise will be irritating to students who lived in college and near by college.

The placements of the college is excellent.It is the best college according to placement wise.From the 7th semester u will be eligible for the placements.There will be a definite placement in this college with an average package of 14 lakh per annum.There will be a 150 companies are visiting and offering 120 for one branch.In every branch there is a min 97% placement record is there. If u didn't get the campus placement u can even find a better job outside with your Nit certificate.

- Friends which I made in NIT Raipur I think that is best, they are very supporting and encouraging.
Dislikes
- Faculties are very bad they scold you without any genuine reasion.
- Limited availabilty of Lab equipments and materials.
- Books and liberary accesss very small liberary with limited books.
Placement Experience:
If you belong to CSE and IT then you will get about 15lpa CTC and there is a high chance to get into top companies like Google, and Microsoft if you are from ECE or EE, then you will get a placement of average package 10laks, in NIT Raipur almost 70% of eligible candidates get placement for sure regardless your branch, with average 7laks CTC.
and also core companies are recruiting through on-campus in NIT Raipur.

- Very less no of rooms in hostel.student have to live outside of campus.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Course is very comprehensive.if you want to make career in computer science then this is perfect course if you didn't do the btech as your graduation.many non cs student also take admission every year.curriculum consists of data science,machine learning,ai and web development.i have chooses this course because it give me chance to make career as a software engineer.curiculum have real life project which will help you to familiar with how real project are made in company.

- High academic standards. Useful subjects are included in courses. Faculty is highly qualified and dedicated. Regular conducting of exams.
- Anti ragging. There is punishment for students who are involved in ragging other students.
- Campus placements are good enough to crack job in a good company with decent package.
Dislikes
- Hostel facility is not good. Shortage of hostel seats. Giving hostel based on cpi.
- Campus area is small compared with other nits and iits. Less space allotted for sports and other co-curricular activities.
- some classrooms are small and 115 students do not fit into them . Congested classrooms.
Placement Experience:
Placements in college are very nice. Every year there is a higheat package of 55 lakh for ateast 3 students from cse , it and sometimes other branches also. Average package offered is around 10 lakh.Students can sit for internships in 5th semester only. Around 76 percentage of students get placed every year. Adobe , D.E.Shaw and many other reputed companies visit campus for campus placements. My plan is to get internship and get placed with a decent package in good company in campus placements.

- Lack of hostel accomodation leading to students suffering for living away from campus.
- The semesters are not well divided, leading to very short semesters which make students tensed.
- Sports department needs much attention and improvement.
Placement Experience:
The placements are good. Like for our Branch i.e., CSE the highest package is 55 lpa and average package is 16 lpa. The percentage of placements is about 80%. But there have been a decrease in the placement statistics owing to lay offs. But we hope for the improvement in upcoming years.

- I like the campus environment , friends , faculty as well as interaction with seniors and juniors . All the people here are very cooperative and helpful. Faculty as well as all the staff are very helpful and clarify our doubts at any time .
- The clubs and committes I have joined made me learn so much about the ongoing real world things . How everything works and different views of thinking about anything . The peer group and friends I made through these clubs are so good.
- I like the street food immediately next to our campus . Most of the colleges dont have this facility . We have vachan , amul and canteen as well. The streetfood just immediately present to our college surroundings are the biggest flex we had.
Dislikes
- The things I disliked about my college would be the hostel issues , because students here are from differents parts of the country . If they were not provided hostel properly It would be a tough situation to find hostels nearby in the new area.
- I also dont like the poor facility of the library . The reading rooms in our college is poor . There were no adequate facilities in terms of reading rooms as well as books . I feel that they need to be improved because they are essential.
- Iam not satisfied with the food provided in the mess . It is sometimes good , but most of the times eating the same food makes us not eat it anymore . Since people here are from different areas, it would be good if they provide all types of food.
Placement Experience:
The placaments will be taken care by the TPO group of the college for respective branches. There will be internship oppurtunities for 3rd year students and 4th year students will be eligible for placements . Students can opt for off campus internships or placaments as well . The highest package will eb secured by the studetns from the departments of Cmputer Science (CSE) as well as Information Technology (IT) in our college . The highest pacakge goes upto 50 lakhs per annum where as average package will be around 18 lakhs per annum . Stuednts might have different future plans and goals after their graduation , they might opt for higher studies like Masters or PG , they might go into the other fields like GATE exams or Groups exams etc .. that depedns on the individual . I might go abroad to pursue my higher studies there. Almost all the students can get placed . Some companies set their basic standards like basic CGPA to participate in their on campus placements.

- The faculty members were knowledgeable and supportive to students. They provide a good conducive learning environment to the students. It helped me to understand the subject in depth and clear way. The faculty assigned from 2nd year are dept based...
- The campus has good infrastructure, including some equipped laboratories, libraries and recreational facilities. It gives a comfortable environment for students.
- Good placement opportunities according to the records. Fest that happen are also good which helps students to display the talent inside them.
Dislikes
- While most faculty members are supportive, some students found it challenging to acess faculty outside of class hours.
- While campus offered good faculty facilities, but there is some lack of faculty in sports.
- Limited opportunities for research and internship opportunities for students.
Placement Experience:
The placements were good in IT up to last year. But due to the recession last year now the placements were slow. However, students who have good coding skills and knowledge about DSA are getting good placements. The average package is 16 to 17 LPA in IT. A maximum above 90% of people in IT are getting placements according to the records.

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-
- Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.
- Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.
Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and
idea-sharing with them is negligible.
- Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.
- Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.
- Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.
- Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.
Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
