- I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
- Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
- Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.
Dislikes
- Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
- It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
- It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

- Fest of the college conducted by the different clubs and committees
- The sports events like inter College and one of the biggest event is inter nit where one can try to show their performance in front of everyone
- Exposure it is one of the best thing where student can find only in our college

- The duration of the college during summer time
- Faculty members not providing class notes on time and even sometime the completion of the syllabus is not properly completed by our faculty member before exam.
- Selection process by our sports committee in inter college competition because sometimes they select only second and third year students
Placement Experience:
Currently placement is not going on that much good . But still there are many companies regretting in our college like Adobe ,Microsoft , Capgemini, Amazonand core companies like Jindal, LNT. The highest package offered by the Microsoft 2 7 students of about 55 lacs each.and some of the students are preparing for GATE exam and other civil services exam. Currently my plan is to prepare for GATE exam so that I can get much of knowledge related to my branch.

- College infrastructure is not so good and needs improvement
- Hostel facilites are very poor. It doesn't have full occupency
Placement Experience:
Placements here are good. Speaking of IT and CSE highest package this year was 60+ lakh. Other branches also have a good placement stats. We also have internship opportunities.
Companies that visit here includes De Shaw, Arcesium, Adobe, Amazon etc

Course Curriculum Overview:
So nowadays ai, cse, it these fields have great scope so I opted for information technology branch. In nit raipur the curriculum is based on cbcs scheme here we have one mid semester exam and one end sem exam including practicals along with that. We have smart classes ,practical classes and faculty here are good enough to teach you concepts of each and every subject.

- I like the canteen of our college with good food.
- I like the various fests, celebrations in our college.

- I dont like the library of our college as it is small.
- Our college have less number of hostels.
- We dont have juice corner in our college.
Placement Experience:
Placements are good in our college. Both core and non-core company visit our campus providing various roles. If someone dont get placement on campus than there are others ways to get placement like for applying off campus.

- The gathering of students from all over India who belongs to different culture.

- The campus area is very short compared to other NITs
- Limited number of stalls and shops in the campus.
- There is limited accommodation in hostels
Placement Experience:
The placement of the college is really good and is the positive side of the college.The students in 5th semester are eligible for on-campus internships and students in 7th semester are eligible for on-campus placements.Several IT companies and MNCs visit the collge every year including Microsoft, Amazon, JP Morgan, Adbe, Cognizant etc. Microsoft hires 3-4 students every year for the role of Software developer with a package of 55,00,000 per annum which is the hignest package offered by the comapnies in on-campus placement. The highest packages are often offered to CSE,IT students which is about 18,00,000 per annum.The total percentage of students placed is good and is 80% overall.

- The greenary of our college campus and the fountain
- It's infrastructure is very good as compared to other colleges in cg
- Appearance of good speakers and motivators
Dislikes
- Discrimination of sc st students by classmates
- Wrong and rude behaviour of professor and faculties
- Not even getting proper sports facilities.
Placement Experience:
6th or 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement.Many companies visit our college like Amazon,mera, TCS etc.Every company has there own circumstances of average and highest package, it also vary in different branches. approx 85% students got placed in our branch. I want a good placement after completing degree.

- Faculty can't solve the doubt clearly major issue
- Classes are too small and also furniture is very old

Course Curriculum Overview:
According to my opinion course is very nice and career oriented and also it help us to understand how to solve the real life problem whether it is your office problem or any real life situation. It is very helpful

- Campus beauty its location and the fact that it have railway station stoppage just behind thr college
- The coding culture of college is good their are tough competition and their are many students who are 5star coders on codechef
- Hostel food is quite good and the rooms of boys hostel is quote big so that was also a plus factor
Dislikes
- Faculties of lower branches are too strict for attendance
- Gym is not so big as lots of students come for gyn and they feel compacted
- Not every students get hostel in college as their are limited seats in hostel

From 4th year staring placement happend around 7th sem start in july

Deshaw -40 lpa
Arcesium -55 lpa
Adobe - 55lpa
Dboi - 20lpa
Oracle -33lpa
Zscaler- 20 lpa
Thier are more low range companies that offer 15-8 lpa
Highest -55 lpa by arcesium and adobe
Total 80% students placed till now and last year 100% placements was their

Placement Experience:
Placements are amazing. If I talk about 2024, round 7 of our seniors are placed at >=50 lacs/annum. Big tech giants visit our campus, such as Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon, GE Healthcare, Optum (UHG), DE Shaw, Western digital, Nat West, Paypal, Arcessium, and many more.

- And there's no tension for being hungry there are canteens and cafes
- There's a really good basketball courtWhich which provides good place for playing basketball

- Campus size is a bit small due to which you feel that there is nothing much college

Placement Experience:
The placements of our college are pretty good the computer science and IT branch of the colleges have an average placement of 17.5 lakhs per annum and mostly all the students gets placed on campus itself around 150 students are present in each batch of computer science branch and up to 90 to 905 students get blessed in campus and the rest also get please sometimes of Campus and there are many of Campus opportunities also if no Camper placement is provided we can up to of Campus place

What is your review of National Institute of Technology, Raipur?

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-
- Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.
- Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.
Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and
idea-sharing with them is negligible.
- Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.
- Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.
- Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.
- Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.
Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
